Probably indispensable for people learning to sail while on the boat! But from my couch, there is just way too much new information that I can't visualize.
Full of great information for anyone wanting to bareboat charter. Not a whole lot of new information if you have complete the ASA101 and ASA103 course books in this series, but it does build on it and expands on some aspects too. I feel like this book firms up a lot of what I read in the ASA103 book.
Great overview before you go on a bareboat cruise. May be a bit too much for those primarily looking to be a passenger, but it contains tons of great information, and would be a good investment in time even for those who are taking a vacation.
The better of the 103/104 book series. Goes into the boat's mechanical systems which was invaluable. Also, it went into the navigation area more in depth. I enjoyed the book to be sure.
Full of great info and easy to understand. This series is always the first step in professional training, and really jacks up the anticipation level. Come on summer!
