*SEXY, MYSTERIOUS, PASSIONATE, DANGEROUS!!! CANNOT GET ENOUGH!*
WOW!!! I was completely blown away by Corrupted! Another stunning and captivating novel by Sapphire Knight!
Corrupted is book #4 in her Russkaya Mafiya/Oath Keepers series. This book focuses on Viktor, Tate's brother, and Elaina, Emily's twin sister, and the dark side of the mafia. Even though this is book 4 in the series, it can be read after book 1, Secrets. But of course, I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading books 1-3 first! They are outstanding! :) Up until this book, Exposed has been my favorite novel in Sapphire's series. Yeah....that WAS my favorite until now! Corrupted takes you on a mystifying, fiery, and explosive journey through the hardships of love and life.
We are first introduced to Elaina and Viktor in Secrets. But we were only given a tiny morsel of the magnetic chemistry between these two characters. With a terrible and heart-wrenching past, Elaina is quick to guard herself from everyone. She's a strong, resilient, independent, and smart young woman, who does not trust easily. Yet beneath her hesitant and guarded exterior, she has a delicate, loving, and sensitive heart that only wants the same affections returned. And then there's Viktor, Tate's older brother. During the interactions with Viktor in Secrets, he came across as very puzzling and reserved. I didn't know much about him. Well, now I know exactly what type of man Viktor is.....he's two different men all together. There's the "mafia Viktor", unyielding, violent, malicious, and focused. Then there's "inner Viktor", possessive, intense, devoted, and protective...the type of man he is with Elaina. Sexy-swoon-tastic...without a doubt!!! (If he wasn't already spoken for, I'd totally call dibs on him!) Elaina and Viktor's personalities balance each other out effortlessly. They are both solitary people, but they also need the love and affection only family and loved ones can give. Their interactions and relationships with the supporting characters in the book are exactly how they treat one another. They show others the respect and courtesy that is bestowed unto themselves, unless otherwise revealed....which you'll definitely see that tenacious side of them both! With a side order of a crazy, wacko-psychotic named Kendall, this book offers everything. Love, endangerment, malice, insanity, lust, and obsession....I LOVED every page! I cannot wait for the next book in the series....I'm hoping more supporting characters get to share their story with us! :)
If you're already of fan of Sapphire Knight, then I don't have to tell you how fantastic her books are! But if you're a newbie, I strongly encourage you to pick up book 1, Secrets, and prepare yourself for a thrilling, and spine-tingling ride! All her books are a one-click-must-read! You ever read a book so good you don’t want it to end, then when it does you cry just a little? Well for me that was this book. I’ve had the pleasure of reading all of Sapphire’s books and her growth and skill from Secrets to Corrupted is unlike anything I’ve seen. I’m not in the habit of comparing an authors work to another, I only compare them to their previous books, but with Corrupted I did do this with another Mafia book I read a year ago, it stuck with me in it’s greatness and now? Corrupted has surpassed that!
Viktor was such a treat, he was such a bad ass to everyone that I didn’t expect him to be so sweet to Elaina. He treasured her in such a way that I felt like I was her. He was magnetizing.
Now Elaina, to be honest after her roll in Secrets I wasn’t prepared to like her. At all. For the simple fact that she drunk and drove. It’s my biggest pet peeve in real life and in a book. But after reading Exposed and Relinquish and getting to know her just a little bit more in those books, I was prepared to give her that chance I knew she needed! I don’t regret it! She is such a broken and tortured soul, that I understand her choices now. From that first bar scene and her flashback I wanted to just hug her and run away to a happy place. I was so glad that her and Viktor were a match, They are absolutely perfect for each other.
Did I mention the sex was off the chains hot? Hubby may or may not have been attacked after a couple scenes ;) Just sayin!
You will love this book from start to finish! It grips you, leaves you on the edge of your seat, and when you least expect it, you’ll get the shock of a life time!!

Viktor calls to the psycho in me! His creativeness in torture awes me! You will understand this when he finds Elaina’s step dad! I relished in the awesomeness of that scene!!

Hot damn! This is the 4th book in the series. If you haven't read Secrets, Exposed or Relinquish, please do so before you read this book! They all tie in together, and besides, it will give you, the reader, an AWESOME FREAKING STORY!!!
Viktor is...dangerous, professional, a no nonsense type of guy in the mafia. Elaina isn't as fragile as Viktor thinks, however, she is vulnerable. You get a feel for the workings in the mafia, which is heart stopping to say the least!
They are very protective of each other. The storyline is great and moves at a fast pace IMO. Absolutely loved this book! Can't wait for the next book!

This book is back to the Mafia side. This is Viktor and Elaine's story.
With this book we see a lot of the seedy parts of the mafia. How a man who runs things but likes getting his hands dirty. He was also the one who was to put the woman who hit Tate's and Emily's car and almost killed her down. But one look at her and he knew he couldn't. She was Emily's long lost twin.
Elaina had a horrible childhood and still has nightmares. Yes she was drunk when she hit them. Didn't like she was drunk driving again in this book. Only once. She wants to trust Viktor but it's hard and she has never told anyone what happened to her.
Viktor has a crazy stalker who's family is small time Mafia compared to Tate and Viktor. The crazy lady thinks she can do anything and get away with it. When she comes after Viktor it's going to get interesting between her and Viktor and Elaina.
Great book but wish the ending was a bit more drawn out.

This is the 4th book in the Russkaya Mafiya/Oath Keepers MC series. While this book is a stand alone in order to get the most out of this story you will need to read the series in order (Secrets, Exposed, and Relinquish) as all the stories intertwine together.
This story is about Viktor and Elaina who we first meet in Secrets. Viktor is Tate's older brother and Elaina is Emily's twin sister. We also get to explore the darker side of mafia too. I have been impatiently waiting for their story since glimpsing their explosive chemistry in Secrets and let me tell you this book did not disappoint. The chemistry between the two was off the charts hot!!! I have had the pleasure of reading all of Sapphire's books and just when I don't think she could top the last book she freaking knocks it out of the park. This story is my favorite book of hers to date. Its an amazing book!!!
There is no doubt in my mind.....after reading all the books in the series you will be begging her for more I know I will. If you haven't read any of her books what are you waiting for!!

Sapphire constantly blows me away with her writing. In Corrupted not only does she gets your blood pumping with the sinister sexy and delicious Viktor, but she makes your panties literally fall off whenever him and Elaina are together. If your fan of this wonderful series (stalker really) then you know that Elaina is the twin sister of Emily who is married to Viktor's brother Tate. She grew in unfortunate circumstances in the foster care system and never really allowed any one to touch her or care about her. Viktor is the dirty side of the Mafiya he deals with the messes that no one wants. He has no problem getting his hands dirty figuratively and literally. One look at Elaina and he knew that he had to have her, he wanted her to be his Princess and to protect her at all cost. From the first page until the last you're wrapped up in a tale that pulls you in,holds you hostage and seduces you with just one look from Viktor to Elaina. You also get a look at other characters from the series and meet new characters that you will be dying to know more about. Thank you Sapphire for giving us a slice of heaven in this series and I can't wait to see what's up your sleeve next.

This was the fourth book in Sapphire's series but only the second book with the Russkaya Mafiya.
We finally get Viktor's book. He is Tate's brother who is running the Bratva. He was first introduced in Secrets & sent to 'take care' of Emily's sister, Elaina. But he feels protective of her & he becomes her official guard, watching over her at 007. But what happens when someone starts sending threats to the family?
Elaina was a great character, you just wanted to hug her, I loved her spunkiness & sarcasm. And she was VERY protective of Viktor, especially during one scene, watch out.
And Viktor, the suit loving Boss, who just adores his Princess. I loved the Russian he spoke to her.
We did get a glimpse of some previous characters. Ares, short but sweet!!!
I loved Viktor, he thinks he is corrupted but so does Elaina, they were both in conflict thinking they weren't good for each other. Can they get their HEA?
Can't wait for the next book. Mafia. MC. Whatever you write next I'll love!!!

Jesus Viktor is so damn hot, “I’m not leaving you, I just took you, and it means you’re mine now. You’re mistaken if you think I would leave after something so important happening. I may be cruel but I will never treat you that way.” There are time I don't think Viktor knows what to do with his woman, “Christ, you’re feisty when you get wound up . Are you always going to be like this? Even when we are old and grey? Will you be whistling and throwing items at me?” I love this series, I love the men, they're so macho but caring in their own way.

I loved this book. I’m a huge fan of MAFIA romance novels and this one was just amazing. The whole series is amazing. When i started this book I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. When you read Secrets you think you know but then BAM you are thrown for a loop all the way thru.

This was a good follow-up to book one in the series, Secrets. Hot sex, shootouts, a psychotic mafiya princess-wannabe & a BIG, unbelievable coincidence... this one has a little bit of everything.
Oooh, boy... Viktor is way hotter than Tate. (Tate, I love you, I do... but your brother is fiiiinne.) So smooth, dangerous, sensual, alphalicious & with his stubble perfection... *le sigh* Elaina is one lucky b*tch.
Looking forward to the next installment of the Russkaya Mafiya series, Unwanted Sacrifices. Not super stoked about Bina yet but Nikolai is adorable.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the fourth book in this series and I recommend reading the previous books in order to fully get to know the characters and all that has happened previously. You will love those as well as this one.
This book is about Viktor who is the boss of the Bratva which is the side of the Russian mafiya that cleans up messes, basically the harder, more criminal side. He is a tough, unfeeling and cold boss, that demands respect from his "brothers" and doesn't make friends with them. Then there is Elaina who is a vulnerable, take no crap from anybody woman who feels that she is broken and will never be able to be involved with anyone. She's had a tough life growing up and now when things get crazy in her life she takes to partying. Ever since past events happened Viktor has been enamored by her and has become very protective of her. For almost a year he has taken to sitting at the bar where she works during her shifts watching over her. Later once she realizes why he does it, she becomes extremely protective of him as well. I don't want to spoil anything by saying too much but things start to get crazy and she's not sure I'd she can handle it.
Will Elaina come to have the same feelings for Viktor as he does for her? Will Viktor be able to help Elaina realize she's not broken but tough? This is the fourth book in this series and I recommend reading the previous books in order to fully get to know the characters and all that has happened previously. You will love those as well as this one.
This book is about Viktor who is the boss of the Bratva which is the side of the Russian mafiya that cleans up messes, basically the harder, more criminal side. He is a tough, unfeeling and cold boss, that demands respect from his "brothers" and doesn't make friends with them. Then there is Elaina who is a vulnerable, take no crap from anybody woman who feels that she is broken and will never be able to be involved with anyone. She's had a tough life growing up and now when things get crazy in her life she takes to partying. Ever since past events happened Viktor has been enamored by her and has become very protective of her. For almost a year he has taken to sitting at the bar where she works during her shifts watching over her. Later once she realizes why he does it, she becomes extremely protective of him as well. I don't want to spoil anything by saying too much but things start to get crazy and she's not sure I'd she can handle it.
Will Elaina come to have the same feelings for Viktor as he does for her? Will Viktor be able to help Elaina realize she's not broken but tough? Corrupted is book 4 in Sapphire Knight's Russkaya Mafiya/Oath Keepers Series but it can be read after book 1 Secrets.
Personally I would read all 4 in order but as long as you read Secrets first before reading this it's fine.
We first meet Viktor in Secrets, he's Tate's brother and is now running the Bratva for his uncle.
Elaina is also first met in Secrets, she is actually Emily's sister who ironically almost kills her in a car crash. She suddenly discovers she has family and this is wonderful to her.
In corrupted Viktor has been taking care of Elaina and keeping an eye on her and well has fallen for her in a big way. But there's several problems. One, Elaina at the moment does not feel the same way about him as he does her.
Two, she has no idea about his family and what they do. Or what he does.....
Another problem comes in the shape of Viktor's admirer/stalker Kendall who believes he should be with her and will go to crazy lengths to ensure of it!
Although Viktor is the ideal Bratva leader, strong, detached, willing to do whatever he needs to do.
He is also soft, caring, loving and protective especially of his Princess Elaina.
He's two men in one and what a hot mix that is! Elaina seems to think so eventually!
Every book in this series just gets better and better and I cannot wait to see who's story we get to read next.
This book is one wild rollercoaster from start to finish and if you are a stranger to Sapphire's books you will not be disappointed!

My Review of Corrupted by Sapphire Knight.

I’m a huge fan of this author and have reads Secrets, Which if you haven’t read you should! Exposed another incredible read. Relinquish fanself it’s so hot! Does this authors mind never quit? Wel I’m damn glad it doesn’t because she is now giving us….
Corrupted…..Oh my how I love the characters in this story! We have Viktor who is the kingpin boss of the Bravka, whom no one should ever piss off, he is the Boss for a reason, except maybe Elaina because she is just damn cute when she does it, and her feistiness is contagious. Viktor and Elaina are like a drug you just can’t get enough of. Their chemistry is off the charts. Elaina is this determined, feisty sexy as hell woman who is also vulnerable, and doesn’t realize the boss-man maybe coming for her…….heart!
There is suspense, laughs and maybe a few tears in this love story, Viktor and Elaina have a chemistry that draws us in and makes us love them and want more. This is a great story, one I could not put down, page after page until wee hours of the morning and the story comes to an end. That’s what you can expect. Bravo Doll, you’ve done it again…..Love it, recommend it highly.
Now I’m waiting to see what Sapphire Knight has in store for us all next!

Corrupted is awesome!!! I loved the intensity of it & I love how it Kris your attention through out the entire book.
The sex scenes are HOT enough to melt the pages.!!!
You'll fall in love with Viktor!!! I know I did!!! He is the definition of an Alpha!!!
He gave up being the head of the Russkaya Mafiya to do what he does best, and that's doing the dirty work. He's a very controlling man, and everything has to be done his way.
But when it comes to Elaina, he can't do anything but want to make her happy. He wants to protect her....save her. He also wants her mind, body and soul.
Elaina has been through a whole. And because of that, she's a strong, independent woman. She tries to ignore what she feels for Viktor but he is too consistent.
Once he gets her, neither one of them can get enough of each other.
Definitely an AWESOME read!!!

Wow. Sapphire did it again. Another 5 star read.
Viktor is the head of the Bratva which is part of the Russkaya Mafia. Elaina is the girl he has had an eye on for a year. They finally hook up, but not without complications. Someone from Viktors past tries to complicate things but what they really did was try to start a war.
Viktors character is a strong, dominating but passionate character. He his 2 sides to him. His business side that is strong and dominating and his passionate side when it comes to his princess, Elaina. You cannot help but fall in love with his character.
Elaina is a independent woman, having been on her own since she was 18, never having anyone but herself to rely on. She paid for everything she has ever owned and her apartment by herself. The struggles she has had in her life made her a very strong person.

If you haven't read Secrets (why the heck not?) then you should go read that one first, otherwise it won't make sense and then there'll be spoilers, and no one wants that :wink:
I can honestly say Miss Sapphire does NOT disappoint, she brings her A-game. There is so much going on to keep you on your toes, and I absolutely FLOVE it. I love the separate development of Viktor & Elaina, and then them as a whole, it just brings so much more to this already amazing book! There are the perfect amounts of suspense romance and action, for me. I can honestly say this is 5 Star for me.
Personally this is my favorite Mafiya of the whole series.

Omg I absolutely Loved Corrupted. Its is the 4th book in Sapphire Knight's Mafiya/Oath Keepers series. This Book is about Viktor and Elaina who You first meet in Secrets . Elaina is Emily's Sister and has had a ruff start in life that she still has issues with in the present. Viktor is pretty much obsessed with Elaina from the very first time he see's her and he makes himself her personal bodyguard. But what happens when Viktor finds out the secret that Elaina is hiding will these to be able to make it work between them. Well I hate spoilers so you have to read to find out but you will not be disappointed that you did this is a great book.

I loved this book, Viktor has got to be my favorite character out of this series so far. He is a strong alpha male who has such a caring side to those that he loves. The way that he knows what his job is and what it entails and makes no excuses for it, drew me to him and what I liked was the fact that his lady never made him choose between her and his magia family, she accepted him no matter what.

I had read Secrets so was dying to know what happens with Viktor and Elaina.

Viktor is head of the Bratva and enjoys disposing of people and he is not to be messed with, the only person he is kind towards is Elaina and he sets out to make her his. Viktor shows a different side to Elaina he is sweet, loving and protective and Elaina realizes that Viktor has being keeping her safe and having his men watch her due to the fact he loves and Elania lets Viktor into her heart. This series keeps getting better and better, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Completely lived this dark side of the mafia story. Viktor....I have no words for my love of him!!! The conflict was overwhelmingly felt between Vikto and Eliana inthe pages of this book.Sapphire Knight us a gifted and talented writer and out did herself in Corrupted! Cannot wait for her next book.

What an awesome story!
I absolutely love this authors writing style, it flows so well and the story is so well written! I love Viktor and Elaina so much! Their story was not a sunshine and rainbows kind of story...little gritty! I loved it!

This one is about Viktor who is the boss of the Bratva. Mainly the part of the mafia that cleans up messes. Viktor is unfeeling and tough. Until Elaina who takes no crap from anyone but is broken and doesn't want to ever be involved with anyone. These two have something going on between them but never act upon it. Viktor takes up protecting her by sitting at the bar where she works and watching over her. This happens for a year. She does eventually realize why he is doing it. Will these two realize what is going on between them and let each other in? I absolutely loved the push and pull between these two. There is just the right amount of drama action and happiness in this one to make it an amazing book. Great read.

What amazing story. I was looking forward getting back to these characters.
I loved Viktor, he was always protective of Eliana from beginning. He can be a hard boss, and doesn't trust anyone but that's what you expect with his profession. But he also has a soft side.
I loved Eliana, even though she has been through a lot she is still free spirited, and loving and loyal to those in her family.
I loved the build up in this story. I really enjoyed seeing all the characters and learning more about these two.
