This is pretty cool if you are interested in learning Irish. Otherwise it's kind of a gimmick that it's written in both languages. There were some good proverbs in here, but how do I really know they're Irish and not Dutch or whatever? No explanations of them - some might have wanted that. Some of my faves are:
- Often have the likely failed and the unlikely prospered. (i.e. Tom Brady)
- It's the quiet pigs that eat the meal. (Haha)
- Don't show your teeth until you can bite.
- Better to be in search of food than in search of an appetite
- The work praises the man (that one sounds Irish)
- Keep hold of the bone and the dog will follow
- It's a sign of nobility to patronize art. (I like that one)
