Cannon
Cannon has survived war zones, rival clubs, and his President's temper... But he never saw the receptionist coming.
Barbara. Receptionist. Five-foot-four, blonde curls, and a bad habit of saying her dirtiest thoughts out loud. She has wanted the Vice President of the Bitter Slayers MC since the first time she laid eyes on him, and she is done waiting to be noticed.
Cannon. Six-foot-five of ex-military biker, loyal to his club and his Harley. He barely drinks, never chases, and is certain he has nothing to offer a woman.
So she fakes car trouble. She arranges a funeral for a dog that isn't hers. She gets one lunch, one ride on the back of his bike, and one kiss in a parking lot.
By nightfall, the man with nothing to offer is talking about forever.
Trouble is, Cannon has already told the wrong man no.
Stephan Haroldson had his senator father killed for the family empire, and what he wants, he takes. He wanted Cannon's truck. Now it's gone, and the VP's new weakness is easy to find.
So Barbara leaves home over a biker's shoulder and lands in Cannon's room at the clubhouse, voted in as his old lady before anyone thinks to tell her.
One room. One bed. And between a python that was supposed to be dead and the worst-timed quarantine in MC history, not five minutes alone.
Then a prospect is beaten half to death, and nobody is laughing anymore.
Cannon wants Haroldson on his knees. Barbara wants her man, and she's learning to hit back.
If one more person knocks on that door, she's borrowing a shotgun.
She chases him · He falls fast · Forced proximity · Protective ex-military biker · Sassy heroine who hits back · Size difference · Rom-com chaos · Found family · No cheating · Multi-POV
MC romance with open-door steam, strong language, and graphic violence. Mature themes include torture, on-page killing, drug addiction, the death of a secondary character, pet death (off-page), and references to human trafficking and domestic abuse. HEA guaranteed.

There was a lot of crazy things in this one. From how things went with Cannon and Barbara, from dating and marriage (if we can call it that) to Percy (and now no one is really freaked out about him) to the bad guy and how he was taken off the board with hardly a blink. I did love how Pattie has gotten an up grade, love how her role is changing and it seems like there might be others like her in the club. Sort of feel sorry for all that involved Bandit, but also not, he should have been smarter to not started down that path. Intrigued by the 2 new cops and how they are with the club. It will be fun to see where things go from here.

What a ride
What is the saying? Man makes plans and God just laughs. That’s what happens when Barbara makes her plans to capture Cannon, sheer mayhem. Great story, but you will need tissues, be warned.

Good Book!
Cannon and Barbara's romance was a little unusual but still made for a new story. Can't wait to read more.
