The 6th book in the Latvala Royals Series finds us several years down the road from the ending of the last book.
Sander is still king and together with Chey they have several children.
The last few years Sander has been stabilising the country after his brothers betrayal. Now Sander finds himself being pressured into joining a war he isn't certain exists. the country is soon under attack but the evidence doesn't make sense and Sander is forced to once again defend what he holds dear.
I love the interactions in this book between Sander and his group of friends. Again this is more on the side mystery and suspense than romance as Sander and Chey defend their love, their rule and their family.
My heart was in my throat as we waited to see who would actually survive.
Another exciting and engaging instalment. I am disappointed there is only 1 left.

Action, fast paced Story line, and surprises at every turn. This author doesn’t disappoint. First and foremost, the writing, unequivocally fascinating. Clearly gifted, talented, and knows her craft.
Holding my interest for a six book series is a feat in itself, but to do it with such grace, magic and captivating dialog says that there is more than just writing here, there is artistry.
Don’t miss this 5 STAR Series. It holds a very high place of honor in my personal list of great reads.

It's over?!
This is by far one of the best series I have read. There are plenty of books to feel satisfied once the series with Sander/Chey ends but I have since learned they will also be in other stories.
I really liked the author's writing style and she kept me entertained from the beginning to the end..often with twists I didn't even see coming.
I'm looking forward to reading her other stories!

I can't describe the feeling I had reading that serie. I couldn't put it down. I had the first book for year and never got to it but once I read it I was in love. I know Paavo is a bad guy but I love him as a bad guy...he is smart. I'm satisfied with the ending.

I read the previous books in this series years ago and hadn't realised it had continued.
I remember loving them all and was swept up in the story and characters.
I quite enjoyed revisiting the family, but I felt that this one wasn't as developed. Elements were quite repetitive. Everyone just kept getting in planes and helicopters and then back. Everyone who visited paced in front of a fireplace.
So I liked it, but it didn't fire me up in the same way the others in the series had.

Paavo had issues. Sander is a hell of a good man, many would have chopped his head off a long time ago. Chey is an ass. She gets herself in some real stupid trouble, like why on earth would you go visit the man in jail?!
Action packed adventure like usual, but I still want to know where Mattias was when Paavo tried to kill Sander.

The entire series was indeed wonderful to read. I loved the storyline, the characters were touching. I would definitely recommend you try the books.

OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story! AMAZING AWESOME thrilling exciting! A great ending to Sandar and Chey's love story!(at least I hope it's the end because it can't get any better than this!) Sandar is still my all time favorite! Chey is still just as feisty, grown into a mature queen she is just the same as ever! Danielle Bourdon keeps you on your toes throughout the whole story, thrill fear hope encompassing Sandar and Chey's love makes your heart pound (in good and bad- hope/love fear/lose)
Sandar and Chey's story is the greatest love story I have read! starting with Heir Untamed all the way through Legacy, I will read them over and over and over again! (after I've already read them two or three times already!)

This was the PERFECT wrap up for this series! I was so disappointed when I finished book 5 in Sander and Chey's series.
This book takes place about 4 years after we last left them in the series. A big threat emerges for Latvala and Sander finds himself fighting for his country and his family. The threat turns out to be a little closer to home which makes Sander's job that much more difficult. Chey is her usual strong, capable self and proves her loyalty to her country and Sander.
This book reminded me of their sweetness, their passion, their character. I love everything about them separate, but together, they are dynamic. This series will forever be one those "surprises" I discovered which turned into one of my favorites.

I don't often let a book stress me out but this one did. I've fallen in love with these characters and Danielle had me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen at each turn of the page. Before reading this one I was a little worried that this was just going to be a book that was written to make fans of the series happy. I was wrong and loved that there was just as much action and plot twists as the others in the series. I do say this wouldn't work as a stand alone book. You need to have read the rest of the series to understand a lot of what is going on with the characters.

This was the first time I have read this book despite reading the others in the series several years ago when they first came out. This book was not out then so I reread the entire series recently. I definitely still thought this was a very good book, but it was far less exciting than the others in the series. Less steamy, and more predictable. I see that there is another book out, but the fact that the chemistry between the two main characters is mostly gone, it seems like this series is pretty much over for me. I have read some of the Royal elite books, and look forward to reading those including the new additions since I last read them!

You must read the other books Royalty books before you read this but I couldn't put this book down. Sander what a wonderful King you are - after all this time the love between you and Chey is still strong as book one. I love that you have 3 children. While I was reading this book I said Oh no out loud and my son said Come on mom it's just a book....I disagree - thank you for continuing their love story and their lives.
I finished this book I believe in a day and a half. Thank you!!!

Outstanding
I fell in love with Sander and Chey in the very first book, and was delighted to see their story continue. I love the entire series. The stories are so riveting you can't put them down until you are finished. This book is full of action. What I love most is that even with all the ruggedness the men still have a tender side that comes out several times in the book. I can hardly stand to wait for the next installment. I hope it is soon.

I know this series has been released a while but somehow I just found it!!
I read this first and then just had to get the rest of the series.
Danielle Bourdon has an great way of entwining a great thriller romance story with descriptions of beautiful scenery, details of a royal lifestyle and the reminder that the responsibilities of being a leader never cease!!

I am writing this review for each of the books in this series that I’ve read as they were all exceptionally excellent. If you like one you’ll like the rest. I got the first book for free and had no intention of reading more. But after finishing the first I only thought about the world Bourdon created and I felt compelled to get and read the rest. A decision I do not regret after reading the first 7.

I absolutely love this book!!! The author continues to give us a look at the love story between Sander and Chey which I crave so dearly. She also continues to throw in her huge literary twist and turns that she is so brilliant at doing. This book is a must read!!!

This is the favorite of mine in the series. The hits just keep on coming for this family. Now a neighboring king is pushing demands and there is a major terrorist threat that no one saw coming let alone know where it is coming from. The stakes are the highest for everyone to lose something. I hope this isn't the end of the series!

I was so mad when this book popped up on iTunes and I didn't realize it came out last year!! It was a great addition to an already amazing series. I love Sander and Chey and the strength and courage they have. I hope there is more in the future. Maybe a grown up Elias ruling the country or something. I want more!

Yay! I didn't even know this was coming out until it did. I was happy to get more Sander and Chey. I hope there is more to come. Maybe Mattias.....I noticed the reference to his "girlfriend" toward the end. I'm thinking we need a little happily ever after for the number two brother!

Perfectly ended!
The series needed the perfectly ending to give closure. This was it.
I recommend Danielle's booked to anyone who loves romances without the bed scenes. Intrigue abounds with a family who loves each other and bound to keep the country safe.

Great book! I like this one as it show a bit into the future and also a nice wrap-up and plot. I think it was an overall well conclusion for the series, unless there is a next book that I do not know about...

Better than I expected
I could not put this book down. I was surprised to be so attached to the characters. Probably one of her best plotlines in the whole series. Fun easy and fast read.

Can they please make these books into a movie! I was obsessed from the beginning of the series and now I'm upset I finished it so quickly. I honestly couldn't put any of the books down and this one especially had me at the edge of my seat. Loved all of the books! 11/10 recommend

The last book is just as good as the first. The intrigue, suspenseful situations kept me interested and annoyed at having to put it down. Sorry the series ended..
