Really did love this story about Alexis (lexi) and Sean, loved how they met and what happens to them. Love that Lexi isn’t perfect and her imperfection scares her. The only negative thing i can say is that i felt it was a bit too short. Even though a lot of details are in the book and i understand it’s part of a series i’d have liked there to have been a few more chapters.
Really did love this story about Alexis (lexi) and Sean, loved how they met and what happens to them. Love that Lexi isn’t perfect and her imperfection scares her. What a fast read - I began reading and suddenly it was over!
Sean was relentless in his pursuit of Alexis. He's Irish, compassionate and fierce. She's attracted to him immediately, but fights it because of a scar and it's memories.
I was pulled through their meeting and getting together whirlwind as it was. Great beginning - Lots to suggest there will be more to come!

Sit back and grab a cup of whatever as I regal you in my quick review of this quick story. Alexis, aka Lex, aka Lexi is a young adult working in a Library while in college. She is very much an introvert but for good reason. She has a secret and is scared to share it. This story, in my mind, takes her on a quick journey to trust again and open herself up to taking chances, leaps of faith, and attraction. I like that, while quick you didn't feel lost in her backstory or character growth. The author did a great job of blending it together with the quick timeline.
Sean is the man of the hour in this story. He develops quick, fast feelings of attraction for Alexis. He is also persistent, but not in a creepy way given the short story. I liked this character, for Alexis' match. He had a strong sense of self and wasn't wishy-washy in what he wanted. In the short time, it took to read this, you could gather he would be loyal, protective, and caring to Alexis.
The development of their crush flowed easily in this read. You didn't feel rushed, or like it was fake. The story arced in a beautiful way for a short read, that I don't always find. I got great backstory, and hope for their future. There were even a few secondary characters that made the story more enjoyable. I liked that it was a HFN ending and you weren't thrust into an unrealistic ending.
With all of that above, the story drew me in and I wanted more of everything the author created. If you want a good short read, take a chance on this book. I'm sure you will enjoy it. I am giving it 5 pointe shoes based on other short stories I've read, this one stuck with me after reading it because of Lexi. I seriously want to know more and that Sean protects her! I would hope maybe we would see more of them in the future.

Wow, what can I say about this book. It may be a short read but the after effects last much longer. This was an incredible journey and I am so glad I read this book. The emotion and passion pours out in every single sentence written. An incredibly strong and powerful heroine. After reading this book I feel like I can overcome anything which is exactly how a book should make you feel. First rate book!

In this new short story (the first on a series of them) Sean, we meet the title character, who is literally one of the sexiest characters I've ever read about. To top it off, he's sweet.
Then we have Lex, a strong girl with a very dark past. Her story is a very dark spot in a very hot tale.
It's about more than sex. Sean is about self-acceptance, self-love and body shaming. It's about realizing that you could love yoursp scars, and so can others.
It's short, sweet, sexy and I definitely want more!

A fun short story! I really liked this book. Sean was an enjoyable, quick read that had me hooked from the very first page. The characters were fun and the story was well written. I can't wait for more.
