SIENNA CROSS & EMBER ST. VINCENT!!! I swear every single book in this series is pure🔥 This is book three in the Lords Of Stonewall series. And it’s dark, angsty, twisted, secret society, full of hot as hell tension, and packed with so many twists that I could NOT put this book down!
GAGE.. The purple hair, gorgeous, morally grey, possessive, rather unhinged man dead set on revenge against Cordi. It’s resulted from a deep hurt back when these two were in high school and it has affected him ever since. But once he realizes someone else is watching Cordelia, his entire attitude shifts. And the closer he gets, his need to protect her takes over, and the lengths he goes to for her?!
And Cordelia.. This girl broke my heart! Beneath the popular-girl exterior is a girl who has spent so much of her life feeling abandoned by her mother, feeling unwanted by her father, and never quite good enough. After a breakup months before, she is literally on a path of destruction between drugs, drinking and sex to fill the hole deep inside. But this girl so deserves the world and an absolute unconditional love!

After pushing away the guy she had a situationship with, only to have him fall in love with someone else before she could realize her mistake, Cordelia has been on a bit of a downward spiral. While her friends seem concerned, she’s surprised to realize that the one man who has made it clear he despises her since they arrived at Stonewall University has also taken notice. As he’s forced to tutor her, he makes it clear that he wants to own her, and Cordelia can’t help but wonder what will happen when he’s done with her.
The only thing stronger than Gage’s hatred for Cordelia is his desire to break her. While they knew each other in prep school, he’s no longer the quiet nerd she left in her wake, and this time he’s determined to be the only one left standing in the wreakage. His plans for her destruction are interrupted when he realizes that someone else has been watching her, and trying to take what he’s already claimed. Soon he finds himself torn between his need for revenge and his desire to keep her safe, if only to ensure he gets to break her himself.
I received an early copy of this book from @GreysPromo and devoured it in one sitting! Gage is the former geek turned bad boy after getting his heart crushed by the girl he liked, and Cordelia is the girl who was so worried about making friends in her new school that she didn’t realize who she hurt along the way. He’s so determined to break her the same way she broke him, that he hasn’t realized his feelings for her are just as strong as they always were. What started off as “no one can break you but me” quickly turned into “you’re mine” and I was here for every second of it. Cordelia was physically abandoned by her mother at a young age, and emotionally abandoned by her father soon after, as he prioritized providing for her over caring for her. Even him forcing her to work for him at his new office felt like manipulation as he kept making comments about her amounting to nothing on her own. When both Gage and Cordelia realize she has a stalker who isn’t Gage, the game changed completely, as his protective instincts took over, and as much as I had my suspicions about who was following her, I wasn’t prepared for how entangled everything really was. Gage definitely took over as the ultimate book boyfriend in this one, showing a very different side than we’re used to, further cementing that he and Cordelia were end game all along.

Vicious Lord takes the enemies-to-lovers academic rivalry trope and elevates it to a whole new level. The history between these two characters is heavy, heartbreaking, and laced with an intensity that feels impossible to overcome. Gage is the ultimate morally gray alpha—vicious, cruel, and deeply protective under his harsh exterior—yet completely obsessed with tearing down Cordi's perfect façade. The push-and-pull dynamic, the underlying tension, and the sheer desperation in their tutoring sessions had me turning the pages late into the night.
What I loved:

Cordelia has been reeling for months over the fact that she lost Axel. Drinking and partying way too much that she is now at the point that she may fail statistics and not graduate. Gage has known Cordelia since high school and loathes what she stands for and what she did to him when he was just a nerd. Now he is a lord and wants to get his revenge on the new rich popular girl who stomped all over his heart. They have an amazing chemistry, but when Gage learns someone besides him is stalking Cordelia, his possessive side comes out. Will it work out for them or will it all blow up in their faces. This was a good read and the storyline doesn't quit until the last page.

The next day her so called friend sent a video to Gage showing Cordelia saying mean and nasty things about him.
Four years later and they end up going to the same university. Gage has held a grudge against Cordelia for four years. He has a revenge plot set up, his plan is to get close to her then trample all over her heart. But his heart had other plans.
Cordelia has a stalker, he always stays hidden and lurks in the shadows....

I struggled with this one to begin with, I am glad i persevered but as I have not read the other books in this series I found it very difficult to keep up at the beginning. I struggled with who was who and plot stories which made the beginning very difficult for me. Once I pushed through this section, I actually really enjoyed the story!
Cordelia, the girl that once broke Gage's heart shows up at the same university years later. Man obsessed Gage begins a revenge fuelled mission to get back at Cordelia but this only turns possessive and obsessive Gage up a notch! I really enjoyed the main characters together especially when the stalker enters the chat... 🖤

Who says time heals all wounds? Sometimes time makes those wounds evolve. This book takes a deep detour from high school to upper level dark academia with secret societies, childhood trauma, high school bullying, planned torment, and so much more in this you're mine to ruin dark romance. It hits on some heavy emotions. Both characters are flawed and broken in their own ways, but those aspects along with healing have been represented well in the storyline.

Love the series and it’s a great continuation of that . Love Gage and Cordelia’s story. Was so excited to get an advanced arc since I have been reading the series since it was on kindle stories. Can’t wait to read Slate and Ivy’s story next.

Oh my god ! Gage and Cordelia had me so surprised! I wasn’t expecting things to go the way they did but I’m glad they did. Truly one of my fave series !! Cant wait for the next couple too !!
