Amelia

My entire life I've lived in my father's shadow. As the Mayor's daughter, I'm expected to maintain a pristine reputation. Everything must be perfect. My days of tutors and piano lessons may be behind me, but the need to be my father's perfect daughter still rings true.

However, I'm in college now - so why not have a little fun? It started out that way, anyway. When I decided to go to a party with my new friend Meg, I thought my college days were just beginning. My boring little life was finally getting the shakeup that it desperately needed. Little did I know, I would become the captive of the devil himself.

He says that I'm his. He calls himself my master.

Gabe

Well, well - Mr. Mayor couldn't pay up. I can't say that I'm surprised. The greedy bastard is more concerned about pocketing all that money masked as charity rather than paying his debts.

I'm not a debt that you want to forget. I did, after all, kill that poor journalist that was putting his nose where it didn't belong. Not saying that I minded - no, not one bit. It's a high. Watching them writhe in pain, their bodies seizing up as every last drop of hope is drained from their wide eyes. I live for it - the thrill of killing. Not to mention it keeps my wallet nice and plump. My clients know when they say they'll pay - they better pay. Otherwise, I take what I want from them. In most cases, the result is their own blood on my hands. Not this time though.

This time I wanted her, and I always get what I want.

GABRIEL, which is the sequel to this novel, will be released no later than October 2015.

Unsettling!

Whew! This was one gory, dark book. Just when I thought that things couldn't get any worse, they did. 'Deliverance for Amelia' will make you cringe and shudder. Don't be surprised if you want to curl into the fetal position and rock yourself in a corner after reading this one. It is intense!

I don't want to give too much away, but I will say that this book kind of reminded me of 'Roman', by Kimber S. Dawn. Gabe is a cold-blooded, maniacal killer, with no remorse for his actions and no empathy for his victims. He's found his knack, working as a hit man for rich clients.

Amelia is an innocent, young college-aged girl, taken by Gabe when her father fails to pay the money he owes. Her life will never be the same. Gabe owns her and he has no intention of ever setting her free.

There were times while reading this book that I thought that Gabe was going to show a more human side and maybe soften just a little. After all, we all want the fantasy of "the good girl reforming the bad guy" to play out. I needed for Gabe to have some redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. He stayed evil to the end.

Even though this book didn't end the way I'd wanted, I still enjoyed the story in a "creeps you out" sort of way. This book is the equivalent of a scary, morbid, horror movie. You want to cover your eyes, but you don't want to miss anything either.

I'll be starting the next book immediately. I'm hopeful that it will shed more light on Gabe's character. I need for him to have some redeeming qualities, but I'm not holding my breath.

***** 5 An Angel and Her Demon Stars *****

ABSOLUTELY MY FAVE BOOK OF THE YEAR!!!
DARK
RAW
EMOTIONAL
EVIL
GRITTY
BLOOD
GORE
REVENGE
LOVE

I crave all these and find all those so damn sexy in a man until now. I was loving Gabe at the beginning of this book but this man is PURE evil. OH MY GOD....he did awful things. I went from love to hate and back again.

Nothing I say in my review will give this book any justification into how damn good this book really is. If you are into darkness....THIS IS A MUST READ!!!

 photo twist_zpshy9yrcew.gif

 photo gabe_zpshaqze1av.jpg

"Some people want to fight their demons. Me? Well, I like to play with mine."

Gabe is a monster. He never hides. He craves the art of killing, it is what he does for others. He is a hired hit man than loves the torture of the kill. It is never nice and clean. It is full of hate and blood.

"I have always had a passion for pain, for blood, for the relentless please; they're like a song to my ears."

Gabe does not tolerate his customers not paying for his services. You do not stiff Gabe of anything. And that is exactly what Amelia's father does to Gabe. You owe Gabe, he takes what you love.

 photo amelia_zpssjsol5pm.jpg

Amelia is abducted by Gabe. She has no idea why this happening to her. Gabe locks her up and makes her HIS.

"There is no escaping, my sweet Amelia. Its just us here. Your screams will be unheard, your please unanswered."

Gabe is relentless in the abuse he inflicts on Amelia. She doesn't stand a chance of ever breaking his grip on her. She witnesses all of Gabes dark evilness and it begins to break her. Piece by piece her soul is broken off in tiny pieces.

Amelia has settled to believe that this life, or whatever you call it, she has with Gabe is what was planned for her. Until Able comes to the mansion. Gabe needs hired help as he a new job to kill several of the Mexican sex ring leaders.

 photo able_zpsmpspxqn3.jpg

Able is everything Amelia needs. He is their to protect her but never did he imagine she was being held prisoner. After witnessing a night of abuse where Gabe rapes Amelia, he knows his feelings for her are more and that he will not stand by and let Gabe continue to break her.

The conclusion of this book is out of this world. I could not put this book down. If you are light hearted and need fuzzy rainbows this is NOT the story for you.

Bonny Capps......SIMPLY AMAZING!!

THANK YOU!!!!

WTF did I just read? OMG not only was it insane, but seriously dark and disturbing! So my question to you is this, what is the definition of normal? Well without doing a google search, I’ll submit my own two cents. The ability to fit in and be accepted by society. Well what about a psychopath? They’re unable to correlate or connect with anyone on emotional level. Sure they model themselves for acceptance, but they’re unable to hide the beast within. Case and point Gabriel!
 photo LOV.jpg
Most people who are sick, strive to get better, to be better or they are so shamed by their illnesses they mask it and try and hide from it, even from themselves. So back to Gabriel, not only is he a psychopath, but he’s the demon spawn who revels in it!
 photo DampD 5.gif
He’s mastered the evilness as an art, without remorse, instead he takes pride in his work. Those who are unfortunate to cross his path, suffer in ways they beg for death. They cling to the scraps of hope, he'll be merciful and grant their end. Even though the concept is just as alien to him as empathy, and compassion.
Abducted and forced into captivity, Amelia meets the devil head on.
 photo Little Dove 2.gif
She must endure, play the game while at the same time not end up like his other victims. You want a dark read my friends, this is it, five hellish stars. I will be reading the sequel!

Bonny Capps will bring you to the depths of darkness and leave you so mind fucked, you’ll wanna slap yourself stupid wondering what the hell. Enjoy

I started this book really liking it, however it went south. I'll try and tell you my frustrations without spoiling anything.

First I picked this book because of the two characters and how Freaken awesome it sounded. Gave was totally psychotic but I still felt like he did have real feelings for
Amelia at the start of the book and with the synopsis I just assumed Gabe would turn Amelia into something dark because it was hidden in her and yeah they end up to psychos in love. (Sigh).

That's the problem I assumed. So up until about 70% I really liked it. Then I hated it! Ugh it turned stupid. A new hero came in, Amelia became even more stupid and all hell broke loose and I just wanted to throw my iPad. Seriously! Maybe that's me and my sick mind but I really love these psycho heroes. So this book was a big disappointment. If you like to see the bad guys lose than by all means read the book. Me I'm pouting in my corner that Gabe didn't get the girl. Boo!

The only reason I DNF was because I had to know the end, since the beggining was good I'll two star this baby.

Hahahaha Best Proposal Ever!! Fucking Loony Toons!!
“Be my wife, my partner in crime. Stay by my side, and I will let them all live. Do not leave me, and I will not drive a knife into your throat. Do not look at another man, or dare to fall in love with another, because I will kill him as well. Your eyes are never to wander. Your desires belong to me, and only me. Give me your body, your heart, your soul. I cannot promise the same. My heart is vacant, but yours is capable of loving me, and only me. You will become my wife tomorrow. Tomorrow will seal your fate, a life with me. Death is your only salvation.”

Not really dark but it is making me laugh

4.5 stars rounded up. This is the first book that I've ever bought based solely on the beauty of the cover. It's just so pretty! Gabe was a psycho, no doubt about that.
"Some people want to fight their demons. Me? Well, I like to play with mine."
As a serial killer for hire, he delights in his job, and it's described in exacting detail in parts. There are some pretty gruesome torture scenes straight from medieval times, as were the instruments used, and poor Amelia... this was not the life she signed up for, but gotta hand it to her. She remained strong.
I loved the imagery. There were times I was sucked into the story,
"The rage swirling within me is unseen. If hatred could kill it would flow from my body and encompass these two men--burning and blistering their skin. I would watch them writhe in pain. I would hear their pleas. I would watch and smile."
And then there were times I was taken out by the little mistakes... small things like spelling the last name Bellerose and then Bellarose (admittedly a small thing, but it's a pet peeve). Small other things like peaked instead of piqued and bare instead of bear that I'm secretly hoping will be fixed because of this review ;)
In the end, I enjoyed Gabe's psychotic behavior, his struggle for normalcy, and Amelia's constant struggle to remain strong. Well done.

4 twisted, medieval torture stars!

This is NOT a love story, this is NOT a sweet story, this is definitely NOT a story for the faint of heart.
Take ALL warnings for this book seriously. It is dark, its is evil and it is graphic.

This book surprised me. I think, like so many "dark" books, I expected Mr. Evil to find his heart and be miraculously 'changed' by love. Ummmm Hell no. Gabe was a sick fucker w a fascination for all things torture. The things he did to his victims was unspeakable, and even more disturbing because they were all used at some point in our history as ways to torture people who broke the law/sinned etc
Amelia being kidnapped and broken was no surprise....but the role her father plays is disgusting. I was shocked at how easily she submitted her body to Gabe but I could understand her reasons. She is a strong girl, I was glad she fought so hard to not let him break her.

So much happens, and quickly, at times it felt rushed. I was fascinated with the knowledge of the torture devices, I kept google on stand by so I could visualize the actual piece.

I was a little disappointed in the ending. I felt the final moments should have involved MORE (you'll have to read to understand)... I felt that it all came to an abrupt end...again rushed.

This is a hard book to review because it is so different that anything I have read and I feel like you just have to read it to 'get it'. Again- take the warnings seriously.... this will be a trigger for many issues and it will keep you up at night. Gabe is the epitome of 'boogeyman' and all that is evil.

2 ** for creative use of museum-quality implements

This book could've been so much more, but I felt like the story was held back at the same time Gabe was made too OTT. And the love triangle? - Ugh - Grow a pair, buddy!

I didn't mind the gore/torture and actually liked that this was an example of a badass that really did do bad things 'on camera' - there was no question that he was crazy and capable of all sorts of horrors, unlike a lot of supposedly bad characters that only talk your ear off about it.

However, Gabe was rather sedate and boring, erotically speaking. I mean - come on - where was the creative use of a few of those medieval devices in the bedroom?!?! He was mean and abusive, but so uninspired. I was bored. And no, using salt doesn't make up for it either!

If an author's going to go there, then I expect to be taken all the way, not be dropped off at the corner.

And I don't think Able redeemed himself IMO. He was a wimp and I didn't care what happened to him. And Amelia's apathy toward that poor whatever-her-name-was girl was another issue for me. I didn't get why she was introduced really? It added nothing to the story and only made me dislike Amelia all the more.

I'm baffled by this book frankly. The beginning (including the author warning) had an almost 'brace yourself, this is going to be rough' feel to it, but it fell flat with the repetition of scenes and little progress to characters.

This was indeed a dark read. Not so much the sex scenes, but because Gabe was a twisted, psychotic murderer. I can't remember a time I've read about so many different torture instruments. Amelia really got the short end of the stick in this story. Betrayed by her father, taken by a true monster, and suffering a lot of loss. At times I thought she was really falling for Gabe and his manipulations, but then she would think about how she couldn't wait until Gabe died and I was like, "You go girl." There is romance and an HEA, but definitely not in the way I expected when I started the book. Great read.

OMG. I love dark books but this was....amazingly scary! Intense! Gabe has to be one of the scariest characters ever. Poor Amelia.
You have been warned; this is not about romance. This is a story about fear, obsession, captivity and abuse. If you are a lover of the dark side, then this is for you. If you are easily offended, then please, stay away.
Gabe's head was seriously twisted and sick and I have to admit that I loved Amelia for her strentgh.
Amazing book. The ending left me satisfied. Well done!

4 Stars from me.

I of sound mind most of the time actually had a hard time getting past some of the ugly in this book. Don't get me wrong, it started out great and slowly got worse and worse. During the beginning it felt as if parts were rushed, no biggie. Some of the gore was sickening but still, no biggie.

Highlights:
Antihero stayed true to his self until the end. He was a solid character until the bitter end. I hated him, yet for some strange reason I was cool with him the whole time, with his warped way of thinking. Did I mention how completely insane he was.

He was horrible, but before the poor girl cheated on him, he was actually good to her in his own special, and I do mean special way.

He couldn't have been a complete sociopath because he did tear up about the baby and I think a part of him did love the heroine.

Lowlights:
Able got on my nerves with his stupid self. First of all you know you're dealing with a freaking serial killer so why would you keep pushing yourself on the mans wife, knowing if caught it could cost her her life. Brainless idiot!

The Grandmother had her nine in her purse and would have been happy to take sociopath out. Why didn't they let her? Someone could have nicely borrowed the grandmothers gun and put it to action.

I don't care how messed up you are you don't bring a hooker home to beat and screw in the same house as your wife, and act like it ain't nothing.

This book was good and horrible. There are sooo many elements to it that unless I had written them down, there is no way I can cover it all.

I enjoyed up to about the first 75% of this book and hated a big part of the rest. The ending did nothing for me. Able fell so flat that I was not impressed like I should have been when he saved the heroines life. Sad because I was hoping to fall in love with his character.

Good and Horrible Book.

I LOVED THIS SICK BOOK!

If you like VERY, VERY, VERY dark, disturbing erotica, you will love this book! It is seriously gory though…. by chapter 8 I had literally said, "Ugh" (as in yuck, ewe and gross) out loud several times. I read a lot of dark erotica so it takes a truly dark book to make me say, “ugh” or feel the way I felt while reading this book!

Capps pushes boundaries with DELIVERANCE FOR AMELIA,. For me, a reader who seeks the ultimate in darkness with boundaries that have yet to be defined, this was a 5-star favorite book. However, here will surely be some readers will feel that this book goes too far. There aren’t any, “fade to black” scenes; when the sociopath/psychopath MC picks up a knife to torture his victims, you will read a detailed account telling you EXACTLY what he does with that weapon! These scenes and many others are EXTREMELY intense, graphic, detailed and gory. I personally was fascinated by Capps lack of inhibition and was impressed as she evidently did her research, writing about torture devices and other things that hopefully no one in the real world will ever have to experience!

Though there weren’t any major issues or anything that prevented me from becoming totally consumed by this book, there were aspects that could be improved upon. For example, there were some significant gaps in the story. I also would have liked to have heard more internal dialogue from Amelia instead of her

Aside from loving this book simply because I feel it is the epitome of dark erotica, overall it is also a well-written book. The characters are fascinating, the plot is unimaginably creative and the dark is DARK! Basically, DELIVERANCE FOR AMELIA is an AMAZING book!

PS: This book is a standalone with no cliff yet the awesome Ms. Capps wrote a 2nd book, a spinoff about one of the characters in this book! I am sooo happy that there is more and cannot wait to get my hands on it!

I was not going to finish this book, It was sick, twisted, messed up, not my kind of book, and yet, I kept reading by 57 percent through the book, I knew I had to finish it. Even thought I swore I was not liking it.

It was like driving through a blizzard and going straight towards the boogy man and hell and not knowing what would happen next, or even having a clue what was around the bend, I was being taken for a ride I did not want to go on but I couldn't get my foot on the brakes. I gripped my kindle as each page turned into another. There were times I thought Im going to make it through this nightmare of a book, and just because the Author made me go for this sick and twisted ride I will one star this mother Fu*ker, that is........ if I can get out of it.

When I was done I stared down at my kindle lighting my way and I gave it five dazed star's and my head is still spinning..........It was finally over....or so I thought then that Author just for sick and twisted fun beckoned me to go on another sick twisted ride. What the hell is wrong with me I one clicked my self into another crazy mind fuck train ride and Im headed towards the storm. Wish me luck.

*Sigh*
I don't even know where to start. This is the perfect example of a book that promises too much and delivers so little. I guess with books based on the darker side of humans, people usually hate them 'cause they can't handle all the abuse and it becomes too "dark" for them.
For me, however, this book was too bland and, honestly, it lacked any sort of serious dark subject.
I don't know why the author wrote a whole paragraph in the blurb about how this book is so "dark" and that it can cause triggers even though her book contains like 2 torture scenes and a few stuff happening.
I almost gave up on this book but something made me keep reading this. I deeply regret not listening to myself.
What this book promises is a dark read and what it gives you is a whiny as fuck heroine who started acting like Gabe's bitch they very day he kidnaps her. She spends the next 40% of the novel doing whatever he says and then when he wants her to marry him, she suddenly realizes this guy is abusive and bad and evil and that she doesn't wanna live with him. i still don't get what the fuck that was all about.
The book was really boring until about 70% and It took a lot of patience to keep on reading it.
I don't get why the author didn't introduce Able in the blurb and why she just added him around the end of the book as though he was more of an after-thought than her idea all along. Plus, she has this annoying as fuck habit of using capital letters to emphasize a word. I didn't know that it wasn't common knowledge that you use Italics to emphasize a word, not capital letters. like, seriously. Use the italics, woman.
Oh and Gabe was more of a retard than a psychopath. He spent more time screaming (yes, actually screaming) like a lunatic than killing people and her "tortuous methods" didn't even do it for me. I mean, they didn't seem that horrendous to me and I sort of have a thing for really dark books.
Amelia has to be one of the most annoying heroines ever. She was whiny, weird and a total dumb-ass 90% of the time with little or no strength so I still don't get what made the author think she was "strong and brave". if she was so strong then why the fuck was she opening her legs for Gabe like an obliging bitch?
And Able had to be one of the most dumbest characters any author has ever deemed worthy for their heroines. He fell in love with Amelia within days, stood around as Gabe tortured Amelia and then get this: he ran away when he got the chance, leaving Amelia alone with Gabe for nearly a year.
Like, either I'm starting to falsely realize that there is more bullshit going on here that's a bit too over-dramatic or every other person who has ever read this book read it without much thought given to what was really going and more thought given to the sex happening (which was actually few and far between honestly).
All in all, I deeply regret reading this. there may have been a lousy deliverance of Amelia in the end but there was also a deliverance of a new completely fucked up version of my brain which is starting to get really pissed off over this novel.
I don't think I'm even going to give any other novel written by this author any chance.
I sincerely hope that the author reads novels like The Sect and Unbearable to learn what real dark books are supposed to be like.

I don't usually like erotica but this one is different. I'm a horror fan and this has some serious horror elements. This story reminds me of Hannibal Lecter meets 50 Shades of Grey. While there is no cannibalism in it, Gabe's personality and mannerisms remind me a lot of Hannibal from the TV show. So it gave me a vivid picture in my head while reading.

The story is pretty relentless with what Amelia goes through, talk about not catching a break. Unlike a horror story it doesn't have the "horror-ish" ending, so fans of erotica/romance stories should like that part. This would be tough to pigeonhole into a single genre.

Mind you, there is some pretty intense content in this book. So if you are easily triggered or get upset when it come to sexual violence, this book is not for you in any way shape or form. If you're twisted and like to read about various levels of human suffering, then you'll enjoy this.

FAR OUT THIS IS ONE INTENSE READ! But I loved every second of the ride. My emotions were completely wrung out by the end and I know for sure that I am headed for one of a book hangover. You really do need to take heed of the author’s warning on this book. It really is not for the faint hearted. But if you can stomach dark and erotic reads, then I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Imagine being thrown into the middle of something that you knew nothing about. This is the predicament that Amelia finds herself in. She is made to pay for the transgressions of her father. All of a sudden she becomes the possession of a monster. She finds herself at the mercy of her “Master”.

Gabe is not a man to be crossed. He never backs down once he is set on a path. After completing a job for Amelia’s father and not being paid he decides to take his payment in the form of Amelia. He is enchanted by her and soon, turns into a full blown obsession. He will stop at nothing until Amelia recognises him as her true master.

While the subject matter of this book is quite horrific and confronting at times, this is ultimately a story about strength. The strength of one woman to face many demons head on and still be able to function and come out the other side.

Bonny made me feel every intended emotion throughout this book. I was repulsed, I was shocked and I was confronted by many scenes throughout this book. But there were times that I was also hopeful and definitely empathetic with the characters.

I loved the internal conflict within Amelia throughout this entire book. Experiencing her struggle to understanding and accept the monster that Gabe really was against the desire that she felt when she was with him sexually was a rollercoaster that I never wanted to get off.

“How he can make my mind go from how to escape to how I can get him to love me is beyond me.”

There were times that I worried for what would come of Amelia and her soul, but as the book progressed all I can say is that I was not disappointed in what she became.

While Amelia was playing through her own internal conflict, the same could be said about Gabe. In the beginning he was sure that he knew what he was. He was confident without a doubt that he knew what he was emotionally capable of. He was arrogant in his actions because of these beliefs. There were times throughout the book that I was mildly sympathetic to his character, but there was no denying that he was a demon. That I could feel anything for him is a credit to Bonny.

I loved experiencing his obsession with Amelia and how that affected him all through the book. I loved how his actions were dictated by this obsession, even when it was an act of brutality.

Despite the underlying reason of the relationship between Gabe & Amelia, the chemistry between them is explosive. The smut is detailed and mesmerising and I did think that my kindle was going to melt at times.
Without a doubt, this book is not for everyone. Only those who are willing to explore the darkest recesses of possession, submission, brutality, violence, greed, strength and passion will be able to get through this book. But if you can, I without a doubt recommend this top shelf read by Bonny. But be prepared, you will need some recovery time when you finish.

This was poorly written Dexter with medieval torture instruments meets Fifty Shades type of book... only worse.
1) The writer doesn’t know the mechanics of writing dialogue; where to put a comma, a full stop, or a capital. She also uses capitals for emphasis.
2) Please give the virgin stereotype a rest. Besides, I vaguely remember having a brain even before I had sex. And why on earth would someone be on birth control if they are virgins? Just in case a psychotic killer kidnaps them?
3) Please try to write characters who make sense. The heroine hates the protagonist but inexplicably wets her panties every time he touches her. For your information, nobody develops Stockholm syndrome in a matter of hours.
4) Please remember that even the most badass of badasses can be killed if someone is really desperate to save their daughter. In fact, there is sniper ammunition that can pierce a tank, so give me a plausible plot.
5) If I read the word "subconscious" again in such a book I will scream. It’s as bad as "inner goddess". Maybe it is my fault, because references to subconscious make me think of the amazing Karl Jung, and my inner goddess is Kali.
To sum up: I don't want to trash anyone's work, and I hate writing negative reviews. But spending money on a decent editor makes all the difference in the world. Please, please, please.

For those of you who want to read something really dark and disturbing, try Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite, or pretty much anything by de Sade.

Dark doesn’t even start to describe what this novel is about. Bonny Capps has put the “D” in darkness. I have read some seriously dark novels but this one comes quite closed to be “the” darkest I have ever read.

One of the first thoughts that came to mind was the resemblance with the era of The Tudors. Seriously, if you have have read the books or saw the TV show you know what I’m talking about. You do not want to read this before bedtime, you’d better read this in bright daylight. That way you have some time to recover after finishing.

---------------------------------------- Review --------------------------------------------

I’ll let Gabriel Thibault aka Gabe introduce himself:

“Here I am, the proverbial hit man. Only, I take unique requests and I have a passion for medieval torture devices that would make even Eddie Gein’s skin crawl. “

So how does a man like this comes in contact with a young woman like Amelia, you ask? We’ll have to blame daddy dearest for that.

But as we all now, what goes around comes back around? Or doesn’t it?

Amelia is only eighteen years old when, after getting drunk at a party, she get’s taken by Gabe.

“You need to go to sleep, Amelia.” - Gabe

Little does she know what will happen next... Will he be her beauty or her beast?

What’ll happen when she wakes up?

“There is no escaping, my sweet Amelia. It’s just us here. Your screams will be unheard, your pleas unanswered.” - Gabe

“I am his captive, his slave. Escape is a fairy tale.” - Amelia

Or will help come from an unexpected corner?

Here is an insight of some sorts into Gabe’s twisted mind:

“We’re having a small dinner party, I do hope that you do not mind entertaining a guest, darling.” - Gabe
Yeah, I don’t think I would like to sit at that table. The scene reminded me in a way of a scene I remember from the movie Hannibal. I think I’ve said enough with that.

“If obsession and love are indistinguishable, then maybe I do love her. Otherwise, I’m just a sick fuck.” - Gabe

Mmmm.... If he says it himself! ;-)

“My last freedom, stripped, just as my heart had been, just as my soul had been. I’m no longer human. Trapped in subspace as he feeds his demons. I’m nothing a void, a broken toy to be used and abused.” - Amelia

“Just give me this. Please. Just this. You’ve take everything else.” - Amelia

Oh wow, what has happened here? Will this be Amelia’s breaking point or will she rise from her ashes like a phoenix?

And right when you think the darkest moment has passed, it just goes pitch black.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil?” - Gabe

I’ll let y’all figure this one out for yourselves. Is it it just figure of speech or isn’t it? We all know Gabe is a twisted SOB by now so hey if he says so; it takes a killer to know a killer right?

“Have I ever denied that I’m a sick bastard? No. Not once. So this next part shouldn’t surprise you.” - Gabe

“I pull my hand from the bloody depths and examine my stretched fingers, covered in the evidence of my darkness. I raise my hand to my nose to inhale the sweet, coppery scent. To my disappointment, the scratchy voice doesn’t stop. It only becomes louder.” - Gabe

Oh Gabe, oh Gabe! You know karma is a b*tch right?

Dark, twisted and unforgiving. Bonny gave us a story, raw and uncut. This is not for the faint of heart, it’s only for those who are brave enough to go into the depths of darkness and beyond.

So are you, are you brave enough? ;-) I dare you!

NOTE:
- 3 person pov (Wouldn’t you all like to know who nr. 3 is?! ;) )
- Contains a lot of triggers, so please read the warning that Bonny has provided before you attempt to read this story!

Well I can honestly put my hand up and say I've never read a book quite like this one. Firstly I wasn't expecting the 3 POV's and the inclusion of the 3rd left me feeling - ooh ok and oh ok..... see I had mixed feelings about then where the story was going to go.

I have a few areas where I want to argue like mad about 'choices' or 'decisions' taken and bloody hell I have to say that Gabe must be the most darkest leads I think I've ever come across. I am very glad at the direction Bonnie took this story, if it had played another way I think I would have been very cross, but there was still certain things sporadically that Amelia did or didn't do that had me thinking, ok I know it's written for a story but surely 'this would have happened'.... and I argued a little bit with myself at the story unfolded.

I can't fault the really dark scenes from this, in fact the 'horror' parts were bloody (no pun intended) horrifying. I question the captivity, as in the relationship aspect, Amelia drove me nuts a little bit sometimes but hell I wanted to string her Dad up myself.

I felt the end just a smidge rushed, the scene in the woods very near the end, that seems a jump out of character for Amelia but I suppose it had to be done that way.

All in all to sum of Deliverance for Amelia if you go into this thinking the normal dark erotic read, then think again, only read if you can take graphic nasty, Gabe is a killer, and that should tell you enough, you are going to read his actions and they're going to sear into your brain, so you've been warned. He was written extremely well, for a man that literally had no heart.

I received a copy of Deliverance for Amelia in return for an honest review, my reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

HOLY CRAP!! WTF did I just read?! I love dark, please don't get me wrong, but this was freaking out-in-the-country-no-streetlights kind of dark. There was no light. Can someone please turn on a damn light????!!!! A flashlight, a lighter even!

If you're looking for something dark, gritty, dirty, sexy, with lots of torture, killing and mayhem, then this is definitely the book for you.

Bonny Capps is freaking warped and I freaking love it!! Honestly, not many authors can pull of the depths of depravity found in this book, but she freaking nailed it. You know this book got me freaking good because I can't freaking stop using the freaking word "freaking"!

Gabriel/Gabe is one twisted mofo. He is only happy when he is torturing and killing. Sadistic isn't even a good enough word to describe his evil wants and needs. Amelia is his poor innocent captive, taken as collateral until Gabe became too obsessed with her to let her go. Able is her knight in shining armour. He is willing to do any and everything in his power to save her from Gabe.

This book is not for the faint of heart. This is not a love story per se. Gabriel is absolutely NOT a hero in this book, though he is featured predominantly in it. Be afraid. Be very afraid!!

I absolutely loved reading this book. It was brutal and a complete roller coaster of emotions. At first I was worried that I was going to end up liking Gabe, because I found myself drawn to his character at the start. It didn't take long for that to change and although he was terrifying, I did find myself feeling slightly sorry for him. There were plenty of horror aspects to this book, lots of sexy scenes and some parts even made me teary. I definitely recommend.

This is certainly not a world we wish to be a part of until you are there. Bonny has captivated a one of a kind story in itself. She vividly brings every feeling, fear, anguish, torment and most of all love in the human spirit.

Gade is pure evil in every sense. He lives in a world that would be so surreal to plain folks. He is what Amelia would never in her young life never fathom being caught up. Can he truly love or is it simply to feed his inner cravings. This goes beyond a sex slave.

The POV's in the story bring everything full circle. Amelia is given a voice and it does not disappoint. Her spirit is stronger than any one caught in this situation. Her soul lies deep in her body and at times is the only thing protecting her from the purest evil she is living in. Her mind may be bruised as her body but only a pure heart come out the victor. Will she be the victor?

Gabe feeds his inner voice by devouring Amelia in more ways than one. His private affairs do nothing the quench his hunger and soon finds that neither does feasting on Amelia. His attempts at a normal life are far from a reality, though money is no problem, he cannot buy a life fit for a devil. His hands dip into the messiest of situations and crawls into bed with a pure angel.

Will it take another pure of heart and capable of the same things Gabe is to finally free Amelia? The betrayal she has suffered go beyond the one evil facing her night after night. You simply must read to find out. This is not for the faint of heart and a dark read indeed. I could not put it down. I had a love and hate relationship with all the characters.

Phenomenally written and cannot wait to pick up another Bonny Capps read! Incredible!

“Scars remind us of what we’ve survived, Amelia. One day, we’ll look back, when we’re old. We’ll know that we survived. Together.”

Holy dark read!!! Wow, this book was beyond dark, but I loved it!! You feel horrible for Amelia from the minute you start reading. This book is not for the easily offended. I really did love this book and all its darkness.

Amelia lived a privileged life from day one. Her daddy was mayor and well she never had a worry in the world. She was accepted to one of the best colleges and she’s finally making friends. While out at a party one night, Amelia gets drunk and is minutes from being date raped. But to her surprise the door is busted open and a man takes her away, away from the party, away from her friends, away from her life. As she finally wakes up from her drunken haze, she realizes she’s not in her house but there is an attractive man watching her. Gabe is his name and he’s not the angel that she thinks he may be. In fact he’s kidnapped her because her father owes him a debt. See Gabe is a murderer for hire and he’s a gruesome murderer. He slowly manipulates her over time and there’s nothing that she can do about it but conform to her new “life.” I don’t want to go much further and give anything away. All I can say is you MUST buy this book and read it. It’s deeply disturbing but it’s so, so good!! This is a stand alone.

I made the mistake of starting this book at about 11:30 PM, telling myself just half an hour of reading to start the book and I'll go to bed. It was so intense that I couldn't stop and I read until 3 AM to finish it. Then up another half an hour sorting through my feelings that was stirred up. I haven't had a favorite book of 2015 picked out yet but this is without a doubt THAT book!!! In all of it's ugly crying, emotional upheaval glory that is this unforgettable book of a woman who found herself in unbelievable circumstances being all kinds of abused and tortured by her kidnapper.
Gabe is the devil and Amelia has never had the opportunity to fend for herself due to her sheltered upbringing. She gets herself in a vulnerable position leaving her open to an attack by the devil and the devil never disappoints. Will she get out alive?

The author didn't make all her characters lovable. They are dark, disturbing and severely fucked up! True to life characters and possibly true to life circumstances are what makes this story shine at the same time making it darker than anything I've ever read. Yes, the darkest! You have been warned. The author warns you too, multiple times so please heed the warnings before buying the book. If you don't think you can deal with super graphic material then don't purchase it.
If you dare, you will read one hell of a well written book!

I received a complimentary copy of this title for review purposes.

Holy Darkness Batman!! This book reminds me of Break Her by B.G. Harlen and Captive in the Dark by C.J. Roberts, two of my favorite dark reads! If you’re a dark story lover, than this is DEFINITELY the book for you!! Heed the authors warning, this book is disturbing and graphic in places, lots of triggers for some, but oh so good for those that can handle it. I don’t want to give too much away, but as the synopsis says, Amelia has been taken by the devil and she must find a way to survive. Yes, Gabe is the devil, but why oh why do I like him so much? Is there something wrong with me? I see something in him, something unexpected, something he never thought himself capable of. Anyway, I really liked this book; I COULD NOT put it down. I was taken aback when I saw how many chapters there were, but they are quick reads and the story took me captive and I could not escape! The only criticism I have is that I felt Amelia gave in way to fast and the last chapter (not the epilogue) was gruesome and not what I expected, not saying it wasn’t somewhat fitting, but I was a bit shocked after everything that had happened. I learned A LOT about medieval torture. I give this book 4.5 stars with 3 hands down the pants.

“... yes, I’m asking myself the same thing – what in the fucke is wrong with me?”

Deliverance for Amelia by Bonny Capps is an emotional and physical journey that will have you weeping and smiling all in the same paragraph. I love this story and how Amelia overcomes the malicious and deprivation in her life. This book is not for the faith of heart; it is graphic and can be hard to read at times. If you have any triggers do not read!
Amelia is a young woman just starting out on her own in life. She has just started college and is ready to live life from under her father’s thumb. However, the freedom she has been longing for is taken from her and may never be within her reach again.
Gabe a man of little values and morals does the job others would shun from. He, however, relishes in it. Everyone knows you pay what is due him or you pay the price with your life. Why anyone would fell to pay is beyond me. Gabe is not as controlled as he thinks he is. He is everything horrible you were warned.
I enjoyed this story even the Dark moments that made tears stream down my face. The author has an uncanning ability to make you see, feel, taste the depravity of others and of those going through it. I loved this book and could not put it down. I give this book 5 stars! You will love this story it is crafted so beautifully.
