Ambar Cordova is a romance author of heartwarming and relatable multicultural stories. With a focus on raw, emotional storytelling, she creates relatable worlds with flawed characters that feel real. She grew up in the Dominican Republic and draws on the diversity of her homeland as inspiration for her stories. Ambar writes books that readers not only escape into but also find themselves in. She warns her readers that they will both laugh and cry 90% of the time with her stories, and she's not even a little bit sorry.
When Ambar is not writing she’s chasing chickens or children in a small town in Florida, spending time with her family, and fangirling big time about her favorite authors. Ambar enjoys boat rides, dancing, traveling, and spending time outside.

Between Masks and Pitches - It was cute but ended abruptly, and I just wanted to know what happened next. 2.5/5
San Diego Iguanas - Grady was so darn cute, and his chemistry with Celeste was so electric. I loved this story; I'm hoping they get their own book so I can read it. 4/5
Striking Ours - this was my favourite. Grayson and Wren's story was everything. I loved how it had all the moments you need in a short story. I loved it. 5/5
No doubt about it - another short yet sweet story. Once again, I loved how the story gave every backstory and moment I need in a novella. 4/5
The fake match - the vibe of this one was very early 2000s movie. A classic: she mistakes his car for her cab, he ends up being a famous person, which leads to fake dating. Their chemistry was adorable. 3.5/5
Overtime in the End Zone - didn't read as this was an epilogue
Too much - again didn't read because it was an epilogue
Game plan - ooh, this story immediately went on my TBR; not only was the plot interesting, but the forbidden aspect, chemistry, and yearning left me all excited. The spice, wow. 4/5
Crossing the Line - a forbidden romance between a woman and her best friend's dad? Sign me up! This was steamy! The chemistry between the MCs was easy to read. 3.5/5
Mr Ice Guy - MM! This was a cute story; I wanted a bit more. 3.5/5
I really enjoyed it; however, a reminder that most stories are a prequel to the upcoming books by the authors.
i had the best time with these adorable, funny, romantic, and sometimes even spicy shorts stories
individual rating:
between masks and pitches - 3/5 fun but left off super ambiguous for me
san diego iguanas #1 (my fav!!!) - 4/5 ahh so cute i absolutely adore chelsea’s writing and i always love her characters
striking ours - 3.5/5 loved this, grayson was absolutely smitten
no doubt about it - 3.75/5 a little force proximity with second chance, oh yes please!!! this one was so good
the fake match - 3.75/5 fake dating, tennis romance set in paris!!!!! eekk!! i might not have been the hugest fan of the writing style but i absolutely love this storyline and had the funnest time
game plan - 4/5 oh so spicy and hot, but at the same time ollie was such a sweetheart
crossing the line - 3/5
(didn’t read overtime in the end zone and too much as they are epilogues)
All In is a collection of different sports romance stories written by several authors. I really liked the idea of the book because every story focuses on a different sport and different characters. It was fun to see how each author had their own writing style and way of creating a romance.
Some of the stories were really interesting and I enjoyed the characters and the romance. However, I didn’t find every story equally interesting. Since there are so many different authors and stories, some of them just didn’t really catch my attention. Because of that, I didn’t read all of the stories and skipped some of the authors when I wasn’t interested in the storyline.
Overall, I think All In is a nice book if you like sports romance and want to try different writing styles. I wouldn’t say that every story was for me, but there were definitely some that I really enjoyed. I also liked that I could just skip a story if it wasn’t interesting to me and move on to the next one.
⚾️ Between Masks & Pitches: 3/5 - lovely story, I'm intrigued to discover more from Ambar 🏒 San Diego Iguanas 1: 6/5 - no notes, Chelsea as usual delivered again, cannot wait for Celeste and Grady's book ⚾️ Striking Ours: 5/5 - I loved it as a whole short story but won't complain if we get a book ⚾️ No Doubt About It: 4/5 - will check out Holm's works 🎾 The Fake Match: 4/5 - love a good tennis story 🏈 Overtime In The End Zone: DNS - not started due to being a bonus epilogue 🏈 Too Much: DNF - I started then realized it is also a bonus epilogue 🏈 Game Plan: 3/4 - it was fine to read it 🏒 Crossing the Line: 4/5 - definitely has potential for a whole book and loved the forbidden angle 🏒 Mr. Ice Guy: 5/5 - I'm so ready for Jake's book
Read the ones I wanted to read out of this anthology and found some new-to-me authors that I will have to do some research on! The tennis one, the Chelsea Curto, and the Mollie Goins ones were my faves!!
When two of your fav authors team up with other incredible women in sports (romance) authors, you MUST READ (ps how soon can we get Grady’s story PLEASE)
good collection of sports romance short stories! i really enjoyed almost every single one of them and i would definitely be drawn in to read more of a few that just left off on cliffhangers!
