An intriguing second book
This starts right where we left off. Elara is now with Valen and having to mold herself into yet another role she never wanted. Up until she is betrayed (yet again) and is back in cruel Queen Marisella's hands.
Elara just couldn't catch a break in this book. I loved her resilience, how she never gave up, despite everything and everyone being against her.
That cliffhanger was brutal though. I'll be counting down the days till the next installment.

Utterly amazing.
This book was so powerful.
In the way it was written, in the way Elara persevered, in how much emotion and turmoil was woven into the pages.
I could not put it down. It was so so so good and so worth the wait.
Meg writes characters you can’t help but love, some love to hate, some hate to love, and everything in between.
I just can’t get over how great this book was.
I love this world and I can’t wait for the next one!

What?!?!?
The long awaited follow up to death bound has..... It is everything readers were waiting for and more. The mystery, the intrigue, betrayals... Everything was spun so well. Elara has learned of her purpose and I can't wait to see if she will fulfill it.
