Silver Strings G #3

Snow Storms: A Wish on a Rock Star

Rate this book
Librarian's Note: This is an alternate/new cover for ASIN B00GTPT2Z4

It all begins with one wrong wish on a star – a ROCK STAR.

Jackal has retired but their fan base lives on. Jack and Marissa are still a super couple who see very little peace in public. Ready to live incog, they contemplate a move to Dallas—roots of the Loren family tree, and home of the family label.

Christmas is coming, and Jack Junior is not the only one with a wish list. The Jackal fan site once had a Holiday tradition of indulging five lucky fans with a Christmas wish. This year, a fan manages to contact Jack with a very special wish.

A wish that unearths a scandal Jack tried to leave in his past.

When history begins repeating itself, he finds that the past is always a part of the present. But with one brightly wrapped present, will this particular part of his past forever change his future?

To complicate matters, this Holiday Season, Marissa is hiding more than Christmas presents. For starters, her complicated relationship with Jack’s sister reaches a new level of craziness. Also, simmering beneath a Christmas colored surface is a psycho situation she cannot see coming.

Jack and Marissa have always had a rocky relationship. Yet again, they have to stand strong. LA may be hot, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of snow.

The epic rock romance of Jack and Marissa continues. This novel can stand alone, but is the third in the Silver Strings Series - G String Set.

'Jack Who?' is the first in the Silver Strings Series (G String Set). 'Weathering Jack Storm' is second, and 'Snow Storms' is third. The Silver Strings Series will contain trilogies for each string on a guitar, and is kicked off with this G String Set.

HEAT LEVEL Does this book have sizzling sex? Yes, more so than the first 2 in the set, but not erotica.

Someone asked me which of the Jack & Marissa trilogy is my favorite. What a tough question. My favorite scene is in the first book, Jack & Marissa at the hospital. But overall, book 2 wins for me. I really like the story of Jack and Mariss learning to live with each other in LA.

Snow Storms trivia-The pace was fast on this one, I lost a month of work on it due to a family situation. This made for a lot of late nights. Besides 16 hour days, there were probably a total of 5 nights that I worked through and napped around daylight for a few hours. In the dead of one night, I woke to around ten MS word pages of kkkkkkk's. Fell asleep while typing.

I just can't get enough of this series. Jack and Mariss continue to grow as a family with son Tristan, and most of the drama in this one comes from outside sources (but there are still some of those nagging communication issues between the two that make these much more stressful than they need to be in most cases.)

I noticed a few more grammatical and spelling errors in this, but I love the series so much I didn't let it detract from the story (but it was enough to distract a little bit.) Doesn't matter, absolutely love this couple and all of these stories.

I really love the way Mariss' relationships with Jack's family have grown. More proof that this couple will survive. Mariss' increase in confidence in most situations is refreshing as well.

I hope there will be more in this series other than just the shorts, especially with the teaser epilogue in #2. I will certainly read them all!

GREAT TOGETHER

SNOW STORM get a solid 3 1/2 stars. I love Jack. I love Jack and Marissa together, but this book 3 did excite me like the last two did. Some where past the half way mark I felt like Lisa was reaching for things to happen. A few little dramas with a lot of sex in between, but hey, they're newly weds, so that's expected! I would have liked it more if the stalker storyline would have been up front. There were hints thorough out the book, but they were very, very subtle. They have been through much in the past books, and the suspense I feel, would have helped the story because at one point I remember thinking WTH will happen next. I'm still thinking that because even though I'm a little disappointed, if there is a book 4, I will read it because I love Jack and Marissa just that much.

The perfect holiday read! Even from summer in Australia, reading the final part in the G-string set, "Snow Storms" was an uplifting experience. I have really enjoyed this series, and fell in love with Jack all over again. Marissa is a strong woman who doesn't take any sh*! from her rock star, and the perils of living life in the public eye cause more problems than they need. Can't wait for the D-string series, to find out how it all started.

I loved this series and although Marissa made me mad in the first book, Jack pissed me off in the second, the third has them accepting of each others shortcomings and personalities. I normally rate instead of review but I wanted to say that I saw none of the mistakes some are complaining about--even went back to check and desserts is desserts. hoping this is not all we see of this couple

I think Jack analogy of Marissa Christmas gift to him after it was broken sums up their relationship. I enjoyed this third book of their trilogy. Maybe because JJ put him thrpugh the ringer and because there was bonding and understanding on all fronts in the family. Thank you Lisa for my JackMa
