Ripple: A Field Manual for Leadership that Works

Rate this book
You choose the perfect stone, you check the surface of the water, then you execute a deft sidearm release. Your goal: to skip the stone many times, creating not one or two but a whole constellation of ripples.

That's the secret of true leadership: The power of influence isn't in the stone. It's in the ripples.

The ripple effect is the cascading impact your leadership has on the people and systems of your organization. It starts with you. It moves to those you impact directly. Then it flows through the entire organization.

This a book of tested models and exercises you can use to self-diagnose and improve your skills quickly. Based on the six key principles of effective leadership, it's a field guide that captures lessons you probably didn't learn in school yet are critical for thriving in the real world.

Whether you're a frontline supervisor, a mid-level manager, or a CEO, Ripple will help you become the leader you're meant to be.

One of the best leader ship manuals I have read so far. Very actionable and super well explained. Is a metaphor that can be relatable to every country different cultures and every level of education or understanding.
