Thank you #NetGalley for making this anthology audiobook available to read and review.

There were some stories in this book that were very good, and some that weren't as good, but not one of them was bad. There were also four poems thrown into the mix. There were some notable standouts. Sigler, McGuire, Armstrong. But really, all of them were... if not good, at least interesting.

Lee Murray - Hum

Anne Walsh - Dozer
Tananarive Due - Chris Manning and his talking cat
Benjamin Spada - Horned

I am a big fan of Kaiju stories and how sometimes you need a big monster to come kick humanity's behind to save the world from ourselves. This was a fun selection to listen to! I did enjoy some stories more than others but I think all of them were interesting (minus the poems but they were short so it didn't much matter) and I thought it was kinda cool that there were kaiju stories based in different parts of the world, and sometimes on other worlds. The ones that really stood out for me were the ones with students turning into a kaiju, figuring out how to create a kaiju, spirits that can become giant sized to protect loved ones, and being chosen to be a companion to a new baby kaiju.

The narrators, Ozzie Jacobs, Hannah Choi, Peter Berkrot, and Liam Gerrard did a great job in bringing the stories to life and adding a nice touch with different accents to let each story feel different. If you love Kaiju and want to find some good short stories by great authors, then you will enjoy this! I am glad I got the chance to listen to this. Many thanks to Tantor Media for letting me enjoy this fun audiobook!

A fun and thrilling collection of stories about giant creatures and the people in their lives.
I especially appreciate the humor found in several of the tales.
