Elaine, Audrey and Michelle are enjoying running the Birchwood House and their hard work has been rewarded with glowing reviews. Ellaine's good mood is spoiled by the arrival in town of ex-husband Clark and his young girlfriend. Meanwhile, two prospective romances might materialize. Elaine has a major crush on grump baker Shep and Michelle wonders if Theo might not be her arch-enemy after all. I love this three generation story line and the small town atmosphere. I recommend this series to anyone who likes sweet positive stories.

The chemistry between Shep and Elaine unfolds like a warm tide — slow, steady, and full of promise, just like Coral Sands. Birchwood House becomes a beacon, drawing the town and this family closer. But when Audrey's ex‑husband storms in with his outrageous agenda, the calm shatters and the tension rises. Fiona writes with such pull that you can’t stop reading. I wished the story would go on forever.
