If you enjoyed Spin Me Round, please take a moment to leave a review on Goodreads and Amazon.
I recently just read my first M/M romance book and absolutely loved it, so to get my hands on this brand new serialised story and discover my first F/F relationship as well I was damn eager to see if it lived up to my expectations. Spin Me Round is hot, it’s also relatively short in length but manages to pack an almighty punch with its expert wit, sarcasm, sex and scandal. Set in the fast-paced world of DJ superstar on the rise Garnet, it involves a deliciously dirty ex football star, a seemingly flawless F/F relationship, a blatant dose of temptation and a serious case of kink.
‘“Just what were you up to in there, Gar?” I attempt to pull my hand from his, but he’s too strong and keeps it by his lips. Then he slowly slips my fingers inside his mouth, his tongue curling and sucking. I groan loudly, struck with a longing sensation between my thighs. I need my vibrator. Now.”
I received an Arc copy of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review. I am only obliged to give my honest opinion which I have.
The main character in the story is Garnet (Gar) who is a top DJ, despite having a tough life she worked hard to get to where she is, making a career from her love of the music industry. Garnet is in a lesbian relationship with her girlfriend Lena, and is very happy with her life as it now is.
Gar meets Wesley Black (Wes), an ex-NFL football player who wrecked his career, by being tested positive for drugs. He was brought up by his mother after his father Maxwell Thompson walked out on them. Now Wes is back under his father's wing, working for him. Wes has seen Gar and is drawn to her like a magnet, he is determined to help her career at the same time redeem himself in his father's eyes. Wes also is besotted with Gar, and wants to have a sexual relationship with Gar, but the problem is Gar is having none of it she is in love with Lena and does not plan on ending the relationship for Wes or anyone else.
Gar is offered a contract with Red Star, a string of nightclubs around the country. Red Star only hires the best DJ's around, so Gar is delighted to be given this opportunity. It's the offer of a lifetime and will ensure her plenty work and plenty exposure. Her contract will involve doing gigs at the clubs and making appearances at any festivals they sponsor. It is something Gar cannot turn down, this will make her even bigger in the music industry than she already is.
Red Star is owned by Maxwell Thompson, and Gar was recommended to Maxwell by his son Wes, he knows Gar is good enough, that she is very talented, but he also wants to help her, and to be closer to her. Gar, of course, is not aware Maxwell is Wesley's father.
This is a great story, well written, sexually explicit in parts, it has you wanting more and more. You can feel for Gar, the life she has had as a child, the way she worked her backside off to make it work. The relationship she has with Lena, the fear she has of Wes, and how he seems to make her react.

I received a copy of this story for an honest review for The Reading Room Blog.
Fans of scorching hot erotica are not going to want miss Spin Me Round, a LGBT series about a hot up-and-coming DJ torn between her female lover and a male promoter with a shady past.
What I Loved: To say Spin Me Round is hot would be an understatement. These books had my blood pumping and blushing to the point my husband kept asking me "What are you reading?" Leads Wes and Garnet are gritty, real, and possess an energy that helps them jump off the page. I adored the message that the gender of who you love doesn't matter, it's the soul of the person you love that does.
What I Didn't Love: There's a clear history between Garnet and Wes and each book hints at it. I need a little more insight. The story is building on their relationship in the present but a couple of flashbacks to the past could have helped the build.
Favorite Quotes:
Book 1 - "His gaze drills into me. What I see behind his eyes is startling - a look I struggle to make sense of, but it's full of intent, desire, and control. The latter has me taking a step back... only a small step... because I don't like to back down."
Book 2 - "She has no idea how fucking unbelievably talented she is. And I'm going to help her tap that talent and reach her potential to be the star she deserves. Like a man possessed, I'm on a mission to help her succeed. Driven. Determined. Devoted."
Book 3 - "Whether you're with a girl or a guy, your heart will know love because of who that person is inside, not because they're a certain sex. You respect them for who they are, not what they are. We're all the same, baby. Black or white, gay or straight. It doesn't matter."
The Spin Me Round books are addictive, once I finished one I was ready to jump into the next. I need to see more of these characters and I highly recommend giving the Spin Me Round series a chance.

My Thoughts
**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**
I started this book off with an open mind. A new author (I hadn't read her books before) and was pleasantly surprised. Although the story was shorter than I would normally read it left me eager to read on.
Spin Me Round was well written and held my attention till the last page.
I was soon dragged into Garnet's world of love, attraction and music.
*I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for sharing my fair and honest opinion*
I should preface this by saying that this book is so completely, 100% out of my comfort zone. I'd never read a book in this genre before so I wasn't sure how I'd like it. To my surprise, I wound up loving it. It was good. Really, really good. I love Gar, she's an interesting character and I like the way the author really shows the emotional war kind of going on inside her, and that she really conveys that she feels guilty about Lena. I honestly can't believe how fast I read it, even though it is short to begin with I read it so quick because I couldn't get enough and immediately started reading part two. Highly recommend, even if this genre is outside of what you normally read!
We meet Garnet who has a steady girlfriend of 3 years. Garnet is a DJ and is touring around when she sees Wes again. after a few too many drinks Wes walks Gar back to her hotel room.Gar wakes up with a splitting headache and starts to remember what happened.
Cant wait to read part 2. Although this is a short book there is a lot going on and I felt even in that short time I could connect to Garnet and get a feel for who she is.

This is not my usual type of read - it's ultra-sexy, gritty, and a bit sweary - but a writer friend wrote it and wafted it under my nose. And something about the writing just grabs you from the get-go, as do the characters. Here, a mouthy bisexual DJ crosses paths with a tattooed former footy player with attitood. What can I say? Sparks fly (and then some)! This is the first in a four-part series.
This was a quick but HOT read and I love Gar's take-no-prisoners attitude! Ms. Carmichael makes the life of a deejay seem so exciting and I'm intrigued by the relationship with hottie ex-football player Wes. Can't wait for the next installment of this one!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Chloe's review!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received an ARC for my honest review. Book 1; is where we meet Garnet, a popular dj. We get introduced to her long-term girlfriend Lena. We also get introduced to former footy star Wezley Black, who wants to help Garnet's career.
We get to watch her have a chance at a new and exciting development in her career that any DJ would love.
I really enjoy Garnet, the tattoos had me hooked a girl with tat's is hot in my eyes.
The sex scenes are hot! Ella can write a scene!
I also enjoyed Wezley. I cany wait to see where book 2 takes us.
I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to lose themselves in a story.
⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️️⭐️K's Review!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book for my honest review.
Wow! This is a very fast and steamy read! I enjoyed every minute!
This story is told from the lead female Garnets point of view. Garnet is a huge up an coming DJ who lives with her girlfriend of three years, Lena. Life's good for the ladies until Garnet receives a work offer she just can't refuse! Unfortunately for her or maybe fortunately the man behind this offer is the hot hot hot Wes! Wes is an NFL football player and he's not afraid to tell Garnet he wants her! Garnet obviously tells Wes she isn't interested in men, but maybe for this particular man she isn't exactly telling the truth! Uh-oh I smell trouble!
Spin me round is written well and I got a great feel for the characters, Elle Carmichael definitely pulls you into the story! I can't wait to find out more about Wes and Garnet there's definitely more to both their stories, and I'm looking forward to more steamy sex scenes!
Warning- this book ends on a cliff hanger! I'm so glad I have book 2 to read straight away! I'm very interested to see what happens to Garnett next! Will she suddenly start liking men and dump her girlfriend? Eek cannot wait to find out! Highly recommended go give it a try!

Garnet is an up and coming DJ and when she catches the attention of a major promoter, she embarks on national tour, well on her way of making her dreams come true. She leaves behind her girlfriend Lena, whom has given Garnet her blessing, knowing she’ll return and they’ll pick up where they left off. That is complicated by the appearance of Wesley, a former football player and right hand man to the promoter sponsoring Garnet.
Wesley has left the NFL, disgraced by drug charges. He is immediately enamored with Garnet and has every intention of seducing her, even when she makes it clear she is in a relationship with a woman. Wesley finds the opportunity to take advantage of a vulnerable Garnet and gets what he want, a night with the woman he’s been dreaming about, but is that one night enough? Or does he want more? What does this mean for Garnet’s relationship with Lena?
I have to admit at the very start, I could not connect with these characters, nor did I particularly like them. Garnet came across as immature and Wesley as a bit of a creep. Lena was a bit of a doormat and with the whole lot of them I really didn’t feel invested at all in the story. The sex scenes were hot, that is for certain, but for me personally, that was the only connect.
While the story itself is well written, I wonder if the brevity is the cause of the lack of character development. I’ll stick with the series, as I’m curious as to how it ends, but I really do hope that these characters can redeem themselves in some way.
Spin Me Round is the perfect beginning to the Spin Me series by Elle Carmichael! Beginning with two kick-a$$ dominant characters, Garnett and Wesley. When you throw in the party club life and a struggling defunct NFL player, you have the start to a must-read-I-wanna-know-what-happens-now story!
Garnett Delaware is an up and coming DJ that is struggling and we aren't privy to why that is yet. Her past is sordid. She left home at a young age and never looked back. Her live in partner, Lena and her music are the most important thing in her life. Wesley Black's mission is to own her. He wants Gar and isn't letting her current relationship deter him from getting to her.
When Gar goes on tour, she is given a chance of a lifetime to be an opening act for a headliner and only one thing is wrong with the situation, Wesley Black helped make it happen. With the contract in the works and alliances being made, a line of communication is opened between the two of them.
The ending leaves you dangling on the edge of a cliff, wanting to know what happens next. I cannot wait to start the next installment of this phenomenal saga.

I decided to review these as a set rather than individually. This is mostly because they are a set. You couldn't read one without reading the others.
The books center around Garnet, a famous female DJ. One of La's best actually, and shes had to fight hard to get there. Garnet is a lesbian and her girlfriend is Lena, she sadly has to leave Lena behind in LA while she tours the country.
Wesley destroyed his football career and now has to work in the music industry. We find out why later. He is completely blown away by Garnet and decides that he must have her, he needs her. always has actually...........
The torment that Garnet goes through in the three books, does she love Lena? Does she love Wesley? Is she gay? Is she not? Just what does she want, or rather who?
Each of these books is very short. It took me about an hour to devour all three of them in one go. I really don't get short stories, why not make them one book? It confuses me. But this doesn't distract from the fact this is a really good series. I have never read any books with F/F action in them and had I known this was in these books I probably wouldn't have agreed to read them. But I'm glad I didn't and that I did read them. In future I'll look at books with a more open mind.
All in all a nice little short series, one that I imagine I may well dive back into if I ever need a fast read.
The story of Garnet, Lena…and Wes. This story is told in the first person perspective from Garnet. When the story begins, we find out Garnet is in love with/lives with Lena, her girlfriend of 3 years. Garnet is a DJ (although it said she sings - so that confused me a bit, haven't know DJs to sing). She has regular gigs at a club, and has an upcoming festival she will play at. Wes is a down and out football player - ousted from the sport for doing drugs. He seems like a stalker when he comes in, and he's determined to have Garnet in his bed, not caring that she defines herself as a lesbian. When Garnet goes on the road trip to play the music festival, Wes is there. Turns out he now works for a guy that has clubs all over the place and also sponsors tours of major names. They offer her a contract to work for them, a huge opportunity. Sex scenes between Garnet and Lena are descriptive. The stuff that Wes does makes him feel like a huge sleeze-ball! I'm just not sure I will ever like him, especially after what happens at the end of this book. The story definitely leaves you wanting to rush to book 2 to continue the story! Garnet is a top DJ and very into the club scene. Living life in the fast paced lane of alcohol and fun. She lives with her girlfriend of 3 years Lena. I can say something about her rubs me the wrong way. Her mom hates Gar and Lena loves her mom so I felt like trouble was brewing. A new face comes into play named Wes, he is a troubled ex NFL player. Banned from his team due to drugs and bad choices. He has a thing for Gar and he wastes no time laying on the lines pretty thick !! Gar is in love with Lena and has no problem telling Wes where to go and standing her ground. Gar leaves for a tour and ends up in the hands of Wes, in more ways than one. Will Gar be able to stay faithful to Lena and still gain the new fame she craves ?? Stay tuned because having read all 3 of the 4 parts I can see this may end in a cliffy but it gets even more crazy before we get the end !!
ThreeStar I think due to the length of this story, it was hard to connect to the characters, not to mention it moves so quick it's hard to really get into any one scene.
Gar comes off as very immature with her drinking and disregard for her lover's mother, even if said mother doesn't like her and I can see why. Lena, her lover, is a doormat. She lets her mother and Gar control her. Wesley... well, I'm not sure how I feel about his forcefulness and high handedness.
I felt like there was more telling than showing with how the book was written. Things needed to be slowed down and give more finesse and feeling to really draw in the reader to what the characters are feeling/doing/experiencing.
However, I think there is a lot of potential in the story so I will keep reading with the hopes that it gets better as it goes.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Inked Reads.
A Quick Steamy Read This book is a great steamy little quickie, the first in a series and will have you looking for the next installment. It's short but very well written. You can't help but be drawn into the story. Garnet is in a long term relationship with her girlfriend Lena. The steamy scenes with these two have a heat factor of woah! She's a rising star on the DJ circuit and gets spotted by a washed out football player Wesley who just happens to be well connected in the music industry. Even though Garnet has made it clear that she's not interested in men, he decides he has to have her. There isn't much more that I can say without spoiling or reiterating the synopsis, but this is a good beginning, and I can't wait to find out what happens in book two. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I was given this advanced copy in exchange for an honest opinion. This is Part One in a serial.
I am SO glad that I read it. We meet the sassy Garnet, a DJ who is popular and very good at her job. She loves her music and she loves her girlfriend, Lena. After one of her shows, she meets Wesley Black, the ex-NFL player who has fallen from grace. Garnet seems to bump into Wes everywhere she goes, and one night he offers her the chance of a lifetime to live out her dreams. To play around the country, in front of thousands of fans. Wes is determined to have her, body and soul, and will stop at nothing to make that happen. Garnet wrestles with choosing what her heart really wants. Who will she choose - Lena or Wes?
We follow Garnet, she is one the top female DJ's. She has had a hard life growing up and is trying to make something of herself. She lives with her girlfriend Lena, they have been together for a few years now. Then there's Wes, ex football player. Got kicked out for taking drugs. Working for his father trying to redeem himself. He sees a opportunity to do that with Garnet. But he doesn't just want to help her career, he wants her in his bedroom. But all Garnet can think about is Lena. This was a quick and easy read. At 36 pages it was read in 1 sitting, but you do get a good feel for the characters. I want to find out what happens next with these characters. The sex scenes are very well written and you get a vivid picture in your head about what's happening.
In Spin Me Round, Book 1, we are introduced to Garnet, a popular DJ. She is committed to her girlfriend, Lena. When Wes, an ex-football player dumped for drug use, begins to hit on her, she pushes him away. She's only for girls.
On a tour, Garnet runs into Wes again, and he's there to offer her a lucrative contract. He continues to hit on her even though she continues to turn him down. She won't cheat on Lena.
Steamy sex scenes and sexual tension make this a hot read. The ending surprised me a bit. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment.
Garnet Delaware is a well known DJ, with a social media reach to match a famous singer, who dreams bit and parties hard. Here we meet her and girlfriend Lena as they begin their journey to DJing fame, but this comes at cost to Garnet. Will she have what it takes? or crash and burn?
I loved that this story is different, it goes into this story with serious deliberation and carefully construed around a lesbian relationship. This isn't too much and isn't too little for readers. It's a quirky and drama filled start to this 3 part series of novellas, and I for one loved it.
Wow Elle first time read any of your books I'm amazed even blown away full of supence and gripping loved ever minute. Garnet Delaware is one of the best LA best girl DJ although her fight to the top, had been far from easy. Garnant life was touch after leaving him at 16. She sheds her sweat and tears to earn the respect of the music industry.. Content in the arms girlfriend lena she offered the opportunity of a life time arises to perform at music festival around the country breakout tour. She can't to take next step but with lena behind will she stay true to heart.

Garnet- She is a gay DJ in LA. One of the top female DJ’s in LA. What happens though when she meets a guy who could change her whole world? Will things work out? What will Garnet’s girlfriend Lena think? Wes- A ex-football player who is trying to get on the straight and narrow now. When he messes up his life, only one person can fix it? But at what cost? Book one is sweet. Girl meets boy, boy wants girl, girl is gay so what possibly could go wrong? All three of these books are short little novellas? maybe that's what you would call it. I think if it was all part of one book I’d like it a little better. I'd give it 4 stars. They are short and steamy if that’s what you are looking for.
Wow what I say this book is hot. Garnet is a famous DJ, she lives with her long time girlfriend Lena. They're happy together and Garnet is playing at more festivals now. Wes is a former football player who has been watching Garnet. He wants her and has an offer that'll be hard for her to refuse. Will Garnet and Lena's relationship be able to make it while Garnet is gone??? I just want to say I love a dirty talker and that is definitely Wes. I love that Garnet is such a strong character and she doesn't take any shit from anyone. This book is a cliffhanger so be warned, I was screaming at my kindle when it ended. So now I'm going to go jump into part 2.

Arc for my honest opinion..... Now honestly I don't like short stories but thought I would give it a try plus I have LGBT in my to read list but have not read any yet. After reading part 1 I may go have a look see.
So I love the way this starts off at the get go with Wes and Gar (Garnet). I also like that Gar's dream is about to come true with Wes's help. Wes is determined to get Gar and Gar is determined to stay away. But Gar gets drunk and well you'll have to read the story to see what happens next!
Elle Carmichael is off to a great start I'm off to read part 2!
I received an ARC of this book for my honest review.
This is a steamy read! I raed it in one sitting!
The story is told from Garnet's point of view. She is a popular DJ who lives with her girlfriend of three years, Lena. Garnet receives a work offer to perform on a very upscale place in LA. The man who offers this is Wes, a NFL football player who had problems with drugs and had to quit his career. He is very hot and he wants Garnet.
Spin me round is well written and I enjoyed it very much!
