A GOOD HOLIDAY READ

This is a fast moving story but not too fast to outstrip the period. The characters are very believable and importantly likeable. The plot was also a good and one that could have happened when you know that Fairfax and Thurloe survived the restoration.
I would recommend this as an enjoyable historical adventure.
