Uplifting and challenging
When I picked up this book, I thought there was a formula. There was and it astounded me.
The Special Blessings Prayer follows a format but I don’t want to go into the details.
I like the tone and writing style because it’s like talking to a friend. It’s very light and fluid and I like how she used specific verses in the bible to get her points across.
I came to a realisation that when one turns to God, he or she is always on the right path.

This book is an anomaly, it breaks all the rules and still tells you everything you need to know
I was surprised by this book. I was expecting it would promise everything but provide little. I got it cheap so I read it. It’s really an anomaly of a book.
There is something not quite right about it, but it is so intriguing you have to keep going. I admit that I speed read the first few chapters but then I realised what was happening.
The payoff is not at the end, which is what you expect from this kind of book. It is supposed to make promises that it can’t keep so you reading expecting a payoff at the end that you know is going to be weak, I’ve read many books like that about spiritual subjects and this book fit that pattern precisely.
But then you realise that isn’t happening. You realise that the pay-off is hidden out in the open in the chapters leading up to the end. You realise that you are receiving a revelation, a series of valuable jewels and when you get to the end you don’t care that the author calls out her ruse and makes it plain that what you have been reading is the juice, the worthy part and that the end just draws it all together.
If you apply what you read in this book your life will change and you will become more pleasing to the Lord.

Life changing book. It is possible to forgive even when the wound is fresh
Bought this book when I needed to forgive some special people urgently. I got a new and practical perspective of what forgiveness is and what praying for those who've wounded us means.

I will start by saying I didn’t do a single prompt at the end of any of the chapters. That wasn’t why I read this book. I read it to, hopefully, walk away with some tips on forgiveness and gratitude. And that did happen, sort of. It really is important to let some things go, there is no sense in beating a dead horse (truly a terrible saying, by the way), but I’m also a firm believer that you do have to hand some things off to a higher power. There were some funny moments, I liked that the author asked me to really think about things, but if I’m being honest there were some chapters that felt a little dragged out. The first half felt stronger than the second.

The point is important: the promised results are not
The author made good points regarding forgiveness, being honest with the Lord, seeking to see our part in conflict etc.. We must forgive people as Jesus commands, for their sake and ours. The trip to Fiji, banana massages, atomic spiritual power et al and the physical manifestation of blessings is extra biblical. I don’t think Donna intended that, but it did sounds like those were the results to expect.

This book is so good!!! I found this book because I initially read another book by this awesome author. Becoming the woman God called me to be. After reading that, I looked for more books by Donna Partow because I literally could not put it down. Thank you so much for writing these books and helping my grow my relationship with God.

Excellent
I have recommended this book to a number of people already. Although Donna's style is not quite "me", she brings up some really good points in a way I have not encountered so far. I would recommend the book to anyone who is living and having to deal with others as part of life. Great. Try it.

This book taught me about forgiveness in a more deep understanding. Jesus forgives us when we mess up so we need to do the same with those around us. He fights our battles and seeking vengeance is not up to us. We need to see others through God’s eyes. Will be reading this book once again to pick up points that I missed through the first reading.

EBk-M, Kindle, @ 2019, read 10/24/20. Nonfiction, religious, forgiveness. A missionary relates step by step how to release your hurt and anger, forgive your enemies, and find peace and forgiveness for yourself. Certainly something to ponder! 2☆'s = Okay.

Not your typical book.

Great Read
This book helps you to learn to forgive those who wronged you. It helps you see that maybe it was you not them. We have to learn to be non judgemental to others. No one is perfect so learn to forgive immediately. Release yourself and them

Awesome book!
Was not at all I thought it was going to be but God used this book to bring complete healing to my heart in areas I didn’t even know I needing healing from. Donna has a way with words. Must read for everyone.
