I liked this book. It was different from the other Alpha Male books that I’ve read. He chases her, but uses more of his power than any other male characters. Very beautiful written.

Characters:
Elizabeth Morgan: Goes to love in London after dumping her shitty boyfriend. She knows how to distract men with her beauty, but she makes sure to never use that talent. I liked that she was mesmerized by him, but then again so was he.
Theo: Is perfect, I was sure that he’d be a jerk, and sometimes he was. But then again, he was crazy for her! I loved that he helped her with the payment for her mom. One thing that I didn’t exactly like about him was that he quickly gave up. He could’ve chased her more…
Storyline:
I liked it, very much. I was

Title:
Wanted, was very nice title for this book. I wasn’t really sure about it but then I have to admit, that the three title of the series fit together real nicely.
Cover:
The cover is classic, nice, a bit mysterious, lovely.
Ending:
I liked the ending, I was kind of hoping for the sequel, but the next book in the serie is a story about another couple. I was a bit unhappy with that…

I would like to give this book 5 stars, but I won’t do it, because I hope that the next book will be better. And then I’m sure it will. I’m giving this book 4 stars!

Wanted (Love in London series) by Demelza Watts

Wanted, a novella, was told through Elizabeth Morgan’s eyes. At twenty-one, after a failed relationship, she had decided to move out of her parents’ home and in with her girlfriends in London to start fresh. Beth had lined up a temp job with Steele Global Investments in the marketing department. Her first day at her new place of employment she literally bumped into the most handsome man she had ever set eyes on in her life. Embarrassed, she apologized, picked up everything she dropped and hurried to the reception desk. As she was getting settled into her job in the marketing department she learned that the CEO for Steele Global was in need of a secretary while he was temporarily in London from the United States. Of course this happens to be the gorgeous man she ran into that morning.

Upon meeting Theo Steele, Beth was overwhelmed with his business persona, at first. She noted his arrogant, ruthless, and pompous attitude. He was a man who got to his position expecting people to do the best job they could manage. He also knew what he wanted, or at least he thought he did. Having been burned in the past, he had no intention allowing that to happen ever again. He would not allow himself to become involved in any long-term relationship. Theo Steele was a rich American living in the fast lane. I was conflicted with his character. Even though he said the words ‘You. Are. Mine. Beth.’ during the throes of passion, then said, ‘Let me take care of you,’ he was still unwilling to commit? WTF? Beth’s heart filled with dread that perhaps she was another notch on his bedpost when he walked away.

Beth was the perfect heroine. She had a fierce streak of independence, although not being a confrontational type of person, she reached a point where she did call Theo out about his proclivity. Having to work for Theo, Beth was well aware he was a player, though that did nothing to sooth the butterflies she felt every time he was near. In spite of the fact that Beth had survived a bad break-up, she had not closed herself off to love. In fact she had set her standards high. She wanted a love like her parents enjoyed. In other words Beth still believed in fairy tales. I found this story an enjoyable, quick read with a lot of sizzle. Oh, la, la.

FYI: Adult sexual situations and a small number of F-bombs. Ms. Watts, being from England, uses British spelling, phrases, and slang. **Originally written for "BigAl’s Books and Pals" book blog. May have received a free review copy. ** July 27, 2016

Format/Typo Issues: I noticed a small number of proofing issues, nothing that threw me out of the story.

I was gifted this series of books for an honest review so I will probably be more detailed in my review and more critical. I had glanced at other star ratings while making notes on my Goodreads app,a 2 and by 22% into the book I was shocked at that rating. The author is from London, UK, so the book is written in her native English vernacular which I thought was charming, loved the different words for trunk of the car, or him standing at the front fender of the car, waiting in line, the queue was long, etc. I in no way found it at all confusing, but it was even fun, making me feel part of the London setting.

Elizabeth "Beth" leaves home needing a fresh start after a breakup and moves in with her friend Amber in London. Getting caught up in a new temporary job, Beth quickly becomes a valuable employee. Coming face to face with her new American boss, the sexual tension between the two characters is palpable. Theo and Beth fight their attraction, Theo does so well Beth think she hates her. A time comes when Beth is in need of a protector and a hero that is rough, tough, sweet and tender comes to her rescue.

One of my favorite scenes in this book is when Beth must travel with Theo to Barcelona on a business trip. Feeling forced to go on her birthday weekend, Beth finds herself caught up in being pampered, dressed and made up for their business meeting. I loved the bar scene, her sexiness, the chemistry, the jealousy, and the abrupt ending. It was unexpected, confusing to Beth, but for the reader, it was obvious more for Theo.

Beth and Theo were a sweet couple. I enjoyed their chemistry and the figuring out it took for them to find each. Theo was super sweet in realizing Beth was who he WANTED.

*I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.*

Elizabeth decides it's time for a change and is moving to London to live with one of her best friends. She has a temporary job lined up which will split her time as a marketing assistant and secretary to the CEO.

Theo Steele is the CEO and he's going to London to oversee a big investment the London company has in the works. And his temporary secretary is a blonde bombshell. How do you stay away from that??

Elizabeth can't deny her feelings for her boss. That's the problem, he's her boss. It should be forbidden. A work weekend in Spain has them revealing their desires until Elizabeth drops a bombshell and suddenly Theo wants nothing to do with her.

After realising his mistake, they spend one amazing weekend together which is shattered by Theo telling Elizabeth he's returning to New York the next day. Feelling used, she goes home to her parents for comfort, only to get a bigger surprise while there.

This was a light and very cute read. If you're looking for a quick beach read, here's your book! This book may be short, but it was very detailed. Living in the states, this book was easy to read and I had no problems with the dialect in the book.

The only thing that puzzled me was the short time frame in which their relationship progressed. And given the ending, I was hoping for an Epilogue to see how they're doing. But, I then noticed that the second book in the series was about Elizabeth's friend, Amber, so I'm hoping we'll get a quick look at their relationship in that one.

The heroine was weak

First off, this book was very short. I read it in two hours. For that reason alone, I wouldn't pay money for it. I just happened to get it for free.

Let's start with the heroine, she spent the majority of the book crying. It got extremely annoying. She cried over everything. She sobbed when her train ticket was cancelled. Ridiculous. The hero was a jerk top her, yet she never got mad at him once. She just blamed herself for being undesirable. She described herself as being independent, but she is the exact opposite.

The hero was not a finished character. He was supposed to be a damaged womanizer, but we know next to nothing about the damaged part. He never talked about his feelings or his pay at all with the heroine. The only thing she knows about his past, she overheard in the bathroom. I don't think the author really even planned this character out. She just made him up as she wrote the story based on other alpha males in cliche CEO stories.

Nothing really ha appeared between the characters until like 80% through the book and even then, it was sudden and out of no where. There wasn't really any build up to anything in the story. We don't know much about either of the two main characters pasts and we know nothing but the names of the secondary characters.

Overall, this was an outline. It wasn't even a first draft, just an outline of a story.
I will not be reading any more books from this author.

No cliffhanger.

This was a short, quick and cute read. The writing and pacing was just right and the story was heart warming and the hero charming.

Beth is a young woman who was wronged by her fiancé, so in order to move on she moves to London to be close to her friends and start a new job. It's at this new job that she meets the handsome American man, And her new boss, Theo. Theo is a player, but they're attraction is very real between them.

Beth was a very realistic character, she knew who she was and what she wanted. She wasn't over dramatic and I was able to relate to her easily.

Theo, despite his previous man whoring ways, was charming and sexy. He wasn't overly alpha or over bearing. He was much more real then that and his confessions of love to Beth were very sweet.

The only thing that didn't make this higher then a three star for me was the story line was one I've read multiple times. As much as I liked the characters and the authors writing was pretty flawless, I would have liked to see something more unique to the story.

All in all a good read! Pick this one up if you like cute, sweet reads that make your heart feel good.

I was gifted the Love In London series in return for an honest review.

Most if not all the novels i read were written with views from both parties but this book was written from only the female end of it thus i was left wondering if Theo were attracted to beth or not. Its a strange kind of feeling reading from one view. English writers are more prim & proper than Americans who, in my opinion are more wild & the straight to the point. That aside, the story's great. Sex is adequate and hot! Only wished the book was longer. There was insufficient evidence to support the love that Theo had for Beth. The uncertainties Morgan had was not reciprocated because again readers werent privy to the thoughts of Theo. I actually thought it was more lust than love till the last chapter where he professes his love. A little slow at the beginning and the hike came the last 3 chapters.

** ARC given on behalf of the author for an honest review * *

This was a first from this author and I was not disappointed.
Elizabeth is moving out from her parents, moving to London to better herself and get over her ex boyfriend. She moving in with her best friend, starting a great job, she had no idea that a sexy God like Theo would appear. Theo is a young successful CEO and in visiting London on business and Elizabeth will be his PA , what a ride these two have. it's chemistry right off. it was a fast pace read but definitely a must.

This was a slightly below average version of a Harlequin book. However, Elizabeth got on my nerves. She cried about everything and for someone who was allegedly so smart & efficient in her career she was incredibly naïve & dumb in personal life. Theo was a jerk. One day he was dating models and the next day he was suddenly interested in her. It just didn't make sense to me. She let him get away with murder but always took him back with little fuss. Disappointing.

Good Read

This book although well written is like so many others. Virgin meets rich man,he takes advantage, then comes to his senses. It was a nice read just not spectacular. I feel the author could have added a few more interesting twists in the plot. The characters did come across as real, and I will be reading the next in the series to see what develops.

Good book. Pretty easy to predict, though. She fell for him upon sight, he fell for her like a lightswitch was flipped. No real buildup or passion to me, but I still didn't mind reading it. The story between Beth and Theo was an easy read. No major angst...just a simple story.

This is book one of a serial. Elizabeth breaks up with her boyfriend and moves away to start a new job. She is hired as a temp and is sent to work for the Owner/CEO Theo who happens to be there from the USA. There are some sparks between them of course. This book has romance and suspense in it and I think it is very well written. I am now on to reading the next book in this serial Cherished.

Good

Theo needed to grow a pair. She needed to be stronger. Not be so pathetic. It could have been better. But it's nowhere near the worst I've read.
