Only Time Will Tell...
There are certain events in a man’s life that he can’t get over without some time and adjusting. Having his heart broken by the only woman he has ever really loved is definitely one of those things. Kemp Grimes didn't think he would ever be capable of loving another woman as much as he once loved Meagan Childs. She was all he could think, see or smell while they were together in college. He spent his junior and senior year obsessed with her. That love stayed, even years after she left him, taking his heart with her. Kemp vowed to never love another woman so completely; he would never give so much of himself to another, no matter how beautiful she was. He had to stay in control of his feeling, of his heart. No Sadistic plan shall break them
The story is very poetically written. Kemp Grimes was a man who desired multiples after being crush, but their was really only one person who could soothe his appetite for love, only one whose veins connect to his heart. Life has a funny way of breaking you, but as you grow you come to the realization that what you desired, what you needed, what you waited for has always been there. Your connection to the heart never goes away, not even sadistic plot can take that away. Megan may be daddys little girl but she' no fool. For these characters it's like a writing a love letter, finding the words then throwing it away then starting again. Reading that letter over again to make sure there is passion, to be sure the soul is deeply rooted in the words. I love the way Kemp Grimes is overly protective, I loved his dominance. Most of all I love the way he loves. Glad you released this again.

Great book
I’m doing a binge of the author’s catalog and so far I love her stories. I love reading about black love and she hits the nail on the head! My only issue is the inconsistency within the story. One minute the MC would think one thing and next sentence it would be complete opposite. This would even happen with clothing or if the character was standing. Almost like scenes written separately then pieced together. Overall this was an amazing book just needs editing. On to her next work!

This Grimes' man story was good
Kemp was something else, even when he was young. The way he approached Megan in college showed he had game. Then things changed, and not for the better. I was a little annoyed with Megan throughout the whole story. She really needed to grow up a whole lot. And Kemps jump offs they should have been dealt with at the time they tried her too. But Kemp was THAT MAN. Anyway things have worked out just fine, so far. I am hoping that the remaining stories of these Grimes men are just as good!

Another Great One!
I truly enjoyed reading about Kemp Grimes and Megan. In my opinion, they were a great match. I gave the book 5 stars for a great storyline, plot, and character development. This is my first time reading A Grimes novel and it didn't disappoint me at all. My only suggestion is to go back through it and correct some of the grammatical errors. Otherwise, I enjoyed the read and look forward to the next one, Dreamz.

My first read by this author & I was not disappointed. I loved this love story. I understand why Meghan left while in college but I feel that she didn’t have to go across the country. She shouldn’t have let Kemp’s past flings push her away from him. I felt that she wanted to run along & that was way in. I hate how her father tried to control her life so much. I bet he knows now how to mind his business. I’m glad that she stopped trying to run so much & let Kemp in all the way.

Good read
If you looking for a love story, this is it. There were some parts where I wanted megan to use her brain. If thats your man you dont let another women tell you about your man. I loved kemp 100% he was true to himself and his throughout the book. Drama, sex, and betrayal is in this book. You won't be disappointed.

Kemp knew he couldn’t stay away from Meagan to long when she came back. Funny because he really didn’t try that hard! They make the perfect couple, but what I’m trying to figure out is how is her relationship with her dad now? Did she end up talking to him? This book was dope! So descriptive!! I love emmm!

I enjoyed this story.. I love a great romance book.. The storyline was so refreshing.. There was so much trying to pull Meagan and Kemp apart and for a minute there I thought it was gunna work.. Especially her daddy.. I was like bruh u doin 2 much..lol I'm glad Meagan and Kemp (especial Meagan tho) finally found their backbones and stopped letting ppl interfere in their relationship.. Still can't believe this was your first book.. Great job Deshon..

Fantastic storyline
This is my first time reading this author. I really enjoyed the storyline. The Kemp and Megan characters were interesting and entertaining. Although, I didn't understand t reasoning behind her father's behaviour and motives. Looking forward to the series continuation.
My only negative comment is that the story could have been better edited

Man listen Meagan and Kemp are the most stubborn 2 people I have ever read about. On has controlling issues the other one don’t know how to listen. Sheesh!! But I enjoyed it very well.
