Connie Candela's murder is truly shocking. Though the autopsy ruled that the young anchorwoman of "Morning Watch" was drowned, she was found seated at her desk, impeccably dressed. Amateur sleuths Abby and Ike are horrified and intrigued by the case, but can the divorced couple stop arguing long enough to catch the killer. HC: St. Martin's Press.
Recently divorced Ike Tygart and Abby Abagnaro are still the Executive Producer and Director, respectively, of NBT's morning news show, as well as being partners in competitive ballroom dancing. When a murder shows up in the studio where their show is set, Ike sets out to solve it, and Abby helps with that as well.
This is a reasonably rapid paced whodunnit with some well-realized characters, and a fascinating glimpse into the world of network TV.
We sold our house! We are house hunting! We are moving! Soon! So, I'm releasing all BookCrossing books that I stumble upon so we don't have to pack/move/unpack them in whatever we find. We're downsizing, so the book collection gets thinned again.
Hopefully, I'll be able to find another copy of this book sometime.
