Well, Cyra Wilde definitely knows how to make a short story interesting!
Lucky Seven takes us back two years before Primal, and I was excited to get another glimpse into this dark and twisted world. Prey Seven knows exactly what she's signing up for when she enters The Verge, or at least she thinks she does!
I loved the whole concept of the hunt. Thirty prey, fifteen masked hunters, and one night where absolutely anything could happen! The tension, mystery, and spice are exactly what I look for in a dark romance. And the idea that Prey Seven walks away with something she was never supposed to keep makes the storyline even more intriguing. My only complaint? I wanted MORE! That's the problem with a good short story. Just when you're getting into it, it's over!

If you enjoy masked men, primal play, and dark romance with a little danger mixed in, this is one to add to your reading list. Definitely check your triggers first!

This prequel had my heart racing! It was one of those books I didn’t want to put down because I had to know what was going to happen. I am so excited to read Primal next. This was steamy and everything that I love in a book. 🔥🔥

This prequel novella kept me completely hooked from the very first page! I'm incredibly eager to dive into Primal next. If you love a steamy, fast-paced romance that delivers a complete story in one sitting, definitely add this to your TBR list.

This story was so addicting I couldn't put it down! Immediately drew me in. The story and dual POVs were well written. The chemistry between Seven and the Faceless Mask was **chef kiss**!!

Lucky Seven served as an excellent introduction to the Primal universe.

It’s a quick, dark, and spicy read that immediately immerses you in a perilous hunter prey scenario. I particularly enjoyed the tension between Seven and the enigmatic masked man. The anonymity, the chase, and the forest setting all contributed to its irresistible allure.

Despite its brevity, this prequel effectively fulfilled its purpose, leaving me craving more in the Primal series.

If you’re a fan of dark romance, primal play, masked men, and the thrilling “run because I want to catch you” vibe, Lucky Seven is a must read before delving deeper into this captivating world.

You Paid for This
This is the beginning. A short a smidge dark intro to the next.
There are numerous kinks, her is "Primal" the chase and catch. Its a race through the forest. He runs the tech for this high priced hunt. Not a actual "hunter" but he hunting.
Its his job to know where everyone is and is doing. When something gets over the line he hides for a price.
She's snarks and taunts, he just gives her a taste and then gives her a in. The game that isn't a game is on.

This is the prequel to Primal and it does a fantastic job of pulling you into the story and giving you a clear taste of what to expect in the main book. It's fast paced but a very well constructed read, packed with some really hot scenes. Reading this beforehand definitely helped me understand some of the character dynamics and the dark vibe I encountered later on in Primal.

This is a dark, spicy novella, its the prequel to Primal but I would suggest you read Primal first otherwise this book will make little to no sense. But it does tie up some questions from the book
I did enjoy this.

THIS. WAS. HOT! I loved the strong female lead and mysterious male lead. Not much to complain about with this primal short story about being hunted down and claimed by masked men in the woods. My only question is where can I sign up?
