Slipperless 5 by Sloan Storm is the final book in a 5 part serial also titled Slipperless.

Fiona has suffered a devastating loss and is quite unable to care that she has lost her job and Gabe. The grief is just too large. Gabe, however, second guesses his actions almost immediately. Can he convince her to return to Hawkins Biotech? Not just for the work and the project that is so urgent, but to him? Can Fiona handle his domination?

This book wraps everything up neatly, with a bow, and some steamy Gabe time in the boardroom. Phew!!!

I'm so glad I got the chance to read/review this series and can't wait to read more from Sloan Storm.

After being disappointed with book four, I hoped that this one would be better. At the beginning, Fiona is in a bad place. She’s lost a lot and doesn’t know what the future has in store for her.

Even though Gabe let Fiona go, he knows he can’t finish Link Protocol without her help. Gabe will do whatever he needs to get her back in the lab, whether or not he has good intentions.

Gabe and Fiona has been through a lot over the duration of this series. The ending wraps everything up nicely. I enjoyed this series overall. It was an interesting story that is different from the books I usually read. Sloan Storm was a new author for me at the beginning of this series, but I’ll be sure to read more from her in the future. ~ Leah, 4 stars

To say I was looking forward to this book would be an understatement!

Part 5 picks up where Part 4 ended, Fiona had been fired by Gabe and then asked to come back and he's getting her response. And to say he's dumbfounded by her response is putting it lightly. But he knows that he can't complete the Protocol without her and, more importantly, he can't stand being away from her.

Coming back to work proves harder than Fiona thought. But she's been through hell in the last couple of months and knows what she must do. So she cleans up the miss with Protocol and cleans house in the lab. Now she needs to replace the few people she let go and face Gabe once and for all.

Once they are alone in the same room, well, things get heated. Gabe and Fiona have something special and Gabe's not going to let Fiona stand in their way. So, Fiona decides to take a risk and give into her feelings.

You would think, finally everything is coming together, right? Not so fast. Fiona is falling fast for Gabe, but she'd afraid to believe he could ever want more. Gabe isn't positive he knows what is going on with his feelings. He wants Fiona like no other, but is this love? He doesn't do love. He's a love them and leave them kind of guy. Can he even settle down with one woman? If he can, if Fiona the right woman for him? Can they work through their issues and make a real go at this relationship? Only time will tell.

This series is deliciously sensual. I've enjoyed every part of it from beginning to end. Gabe and Fiona are fiercly independent but learning to trust and believe in each other. Gabe is a man that will go after what he wants and takes no prisoners. Fiona is a smart woman looking to not only make a name for herself but help though suffering as her grandmother did for years. She is a timid because of her past, but having Gabe by her side, is becoming a confident woman.

Sloan Storm's ability to bring the reader into a story and make them fall in love with these characters is undeniable. The series will make you laugh, cry, love, and hate. The roller coaster this series takes you is highly recommended. Gabe has quickly became an all-time favorite of mine.

Sloan Storm has yet again outdone herself with this finale of Fiona's and Gabe's Story.
We're starting where we left off with Fiona considering on what to do and how to go about IF and HOW to go about Gabe's offer of being reinstated.
She Turns up with a load of umph and change of stamina sheet her Grandmother's death. Though she said she didn't want to be left alone with Gabe, she has to on day one of returning as she fired the 2, Amanda & Melissa Though she had the balls to do that when it comes to Gabe she JUST CAN'T say or WANT to say NO to him.
ALL the Lab Staff including the 2 New juniors are racing through to get the pro properly and adequately finessed, so it can be put into place BEFORE the investors back out, but do they do it in time.....
Gabe is becoming softer and more attentive towards Fiona HAS HE seen the errors of his ways towards her...
On finding & admitting his true feelings there's NO stopping him now, when he gathers her and his friends on a holiday back to Barts without Fiona knowing.......

Over the last few weeks as I read these five books I thought the author did a great job of grabbing my attention and holding it while I waited for the release of the next book. These books were released with only a few weeks apart from the next release. I thought this was a great idea. Nothing worse than waiting months/years for more of a story.

I've got to say I really enjoyed these books. Throughout the series my feelings towards the characters kept changing. One minute I felt sorry for them and the next I wanted to slap some common sense into them.

This is the last book in the series. All through the series the author would only tease me about wether there'd be a happy ever after. Right up until the last few pages I found myself holding my breath. Does this book have a hea? Well you will have to 1-click to find out.

Great ending to a brilliant series. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

WOW what another amazing read.. What a amazing ending to a beautiful series.. Sloan you are absolutely amazing..
Sooo glad these two FINALLY got there S**T together.. I was beginning to wonder if they would.. Gabe being the strong headed Man he is and Fiona being who she is.. especially with everything that happened with her grandmother.. But when he dedicated the project in her grandmothers name that got me.. you knew then just how he felt for her.
I was jumping up and down when she came back and gave it to Amanda and Melissa... Way to go girlfriend!!

Anywho.. Amazing job my dear.. Can not wait to read more of your FANTABIOULOUS WORK...

At first I was like yes she's got this lol But again my hatred for Gabe came full force. Until he really starts to open his eyes and actually sees what he needs to. I was very touched by the amount of love this man shows for her. I thought this author did a wonderful job to bringing this series to the end. This is the fifth and final installment in this series, and they must be read in order.

This was an extremely quick read for me. Since I don't look at page counts, I'm not certain if it's slightly shorter than the others, or if I was just that into the conclusion of Fiona and Gabe's journey. Whatever the case, this part moved quickly and didn't drag on.

After the ending of Book 4, you knew that both Gabe and Fiona would have to resolve their trust and communication issues with one another in order to make their relationship work on both a personal and professional level. And once they finally sit down and are honest with one another, magic begins to happen on both fronts.

I enjoyed the fact that Holly played an integral role in some of the action here. I was always rather fond of her, in a "if this Fiona thing doesn't work out, she'd be a good match for Gabe" kind of way. I like her banter with her boss, and how they can both be themselves around each other. For me, they've always had the familiarity with each other that I wanted Fiona to achieve with him.

There was a plot point brought up at the company that kind of fell short at the end, which made me wonder why it was included at all. Silly me reading semi-erotica and wanting more conclusion to the mundane business happenings. I have my own theories as to who was behind the issues, so I'll just run with that and be happy.

In my opinion, the steamiest sex scene was included in this book, which makes sense. Was it the most hardcore thing I've ever read? No, but it was fairly descriptive and one could argue worth the erotica title. But there is so much plot and character development here that if you're reading these just for the sex, you're going to be pretty disappointed.

In the end, I enjoyed this series and the characters of Fiona and Gabe. I was happy enough with the resolution of their differences to accept the fact that they can live happily ever after. And Fiona finally did work her way over to my good side. Gabe was already there.

I can’t believe this serial has ended, I’m both so thrilled to know the ending to Gabe & Fiona’s story but at the same time so sad it’s all over! At the end of book 4 Fiona had reached rock bottom with the passing of her grandmother and Gabe terminating both her job and their relationship. Now seeing the error of his ways Gabe offers Fiona her job back. With no other option, she has to suck it up and accept the job but not before stating he is to never be alone with her again.

Gabe, being the man that he is, has no intention of ever following Fiona’s rules. Having spent time without her he’s now realised he can’t spend his future without her in it. Determined to win her back he starts his elaborate plan to make her his. However, along the way he must contend with not only her initial resentment towards him but also the challenges she must overcome at work. With the presentation looming, her co-workers challenging her daily and Gabe pursuing her with a single-minded determination will Fiona be able to handle the pressure?

But most importantly… Will Gabe be able to win her back?

Absolutely LOVED this book! Hell the whole damn serial! In this the fifth and final book we see a new side to Gabe. He’s still the hot alpha boss we’ve come to know and love but now set in his pursuit to claim Fiona we get to see his softer, more romantic side which is brilliant! And, after everything Fiona has been through, we finally get to see her face it all head on. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading Gabe and Fiona’s journey together – Gabe finding his romantic side and Fiona finally gaining confidence in herself. Seriously in love with this author, can NOT wait for whatever comes next!!

This is the fifth and final installment of the Slipperless series, and I’m glad to say, my favorite of the five.


The Fiona that returns to Hawkins Biotech in this book is an irrevocably changed woman. She is still dealing with events from the previous book, but instead of being broken by her grief, she has become stronger for it. She takes back the reins of the lab, and makes some sweeping changes. She surprises herself, Gabe, and her lab team with her decisions. I cheered - she should have done this long ago, but lacked the confidence. She maintains her strong stance to her coworkers, making her standards stick. Her relationship with Gabe is her only “weak” point, and she soons finds herself back in his arms.


How does Gabe react to the “new” Fiona? You might be surprised… Gabe is used to getting exactly what he wants, but this Fiona tests both his patience and his control. Her work is flawless, her attitude is surprising, and Gabe has to decide if he can live with or without her in his life.


Occasionally during the course of this series, I have wanted to grab both Gabe and Fiona, and shake some sense into them. I have never seen too more stubborn characters, who never do exactly what you expect them to. I was happy to witness Fiona’s growth as a person, and I can honestly say that I’ve become genuinely fond of Gabe. I’ve enjoyed this series and look forward to this author’s next work.

Gabe’s and Fiona’s story has been the oddest and the most surprising ever: the hot, confident billionaire meeting a mousey curvaceous woman at a restaurant running after her group of friends, not knowing she was applying to work in his laboratories. Gabe isn’t the type of man who tolerates incompetence, dishonesty and his women crying and cringing, which he finds Fiona does much too often. Albeit these things, he’s still drawn to her, unable to let her leave the company even though book number 4 left off by his firing Fiona for failure to return to work after the death of her grandmother and filing the necessary documents for leave.
Stunned is the way we can describe Fiona for her 180 difference in her demeanour – not only does she fire her nemesis duo Amanda and Melissa, but she never cowers to Gabe when she finds herself alone with him in the conference room. We finally see the sex goddess she really had leashed since the beginning of the series, and it’s hot! On the flip side, Gabe finally learns what caring, truly caring, for someone else during the good, the bad and the ugly means. This being the last of the Slipperless – A billionaire love story series, I’m left bereft, sad that Gabe and Fiona’s story is over, and yet, relieved at the way things have ended for each.

Fiona knows she will have to be very strong if she wants to keep away from Gabe, but her heart and body miss him so much so when she is called to his office and finds him alone there, she knew her battle was lost. Now the only thing stopping her was not knowing if he loved her the same way she did him.

Gabe had had horrible days following the irrational decision of firing Fiona. Not only was the project on pause his life had taken a turned for the worse. His mood was sour and he knew the only way was for Fiona to come back to Hawkins Biotech but also into his life. Now the problem was to make her understand how much she meant to him.

How will Gabe show Fiona the immense love he has for her?

The final installment has left me with a smile on my face. We saw throughout the series just how much pain and sadness Fiona had in her life. We also learned how Gabe was able to break his barrier and show his true feeling for the only woman he had ever loved.

Slipperless was different kind of love story, and it was refreshing to read about a scientist and a billionaire a couple you would not normally see. I found the series was well written and had enough drama to keep you interested.

The steamy sex scenes were mighty hot.

I recommend this book and series you will like Gabe and Fiona and will enjoy to read their wild journey.

Well well! Ladies take a seat because a new-ish, or maybe not, author is in town and taking the throne for erotic serial romances. I dig these type of books as they build so much fire and suspense that captivates you as the series progresses only to blow you out by the end.

And this series.... HOT HOT HOT! I love it so far. It is sexy, sweet, sinfully delicious, naughty, tempting, intense, and edgy. When I started this series, it grabbed me and reeled me in. And as each book passes, the steam and suspense build making me crave the answers and the happy ending I am hoping for. Get ready as the end is near for Gabe and Fiona!

This is the fifth and final installment of Fiona and Gabe's story. It all comes to a head in this book. Each installment has been building and building for the this book... this moment. We have followed Gabe and Fiona as they learn to live, embrace change, and fall in love. We have watched them stumble and fall along the way. It has not been easy and they have been faced with obstacles along the way. Now it is time to pay the piper. Secrets will be revealed. Hearts are on the line. Will Gabe and Fiona get their happy ending together or is it just not in the cards for them after all?

I highly recommend this series.

As I read the Slipperless series, I couldn't help but compare it to Sloan Storm's previous series (Never Never Man). The hero in each had many similarities but upon reaching the end of Gabe and Fiona's journey, it became apparent that there are just as many differences. Gabe was just as analytical and business minded but his feelings for Fiona were much more apparent and expressed more in ways that weren't in the last series.

Fiona's growth becomes apparent from book 1 to this finale, her strength is more evident and her confidence has grown tremendously. She's no longer the mousey, shy and easily intimidated woman she was in the beginning. Gage's confidence in her potential and faith in her abilities on the project they've been working so hard on (heheheh, "hard on"---anyways), helped build her self-esteem. She became much more straight forward and had more of a backbone. She morphed into a woman that would be the prefect compliment to Gabe.

As the story came to a close...again, I found myself comparing this to the previous series, as I was quite disappointed in how the other ended....but this ending was very deserving of 5 stars. Sloan Storm did a great job of putting all the pieces together; giving the characters and me, the reader, closure. I was quite pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend this series.

Love, Love, LOVE!
Sloan Storm has really gotten me with this serial. I am a sucker for serials anyway, starting way back when John Saul and the with Stephen King's The Green Mile. Aging myself there a bit, oh well *sigh* Some people don't care for the short bursts and cliffhanger endings, but I simply adore it, the waiting can sometimes make you want to scream, but usually it's only a matter of a couple of weeks and you get your next dose. With Slipperless I raced through each installment, entranced, and captivated by the story, the characters, the emotions and just really everything packed into each book. The story itself is just so amazing, it's super sexy and hot, and sweet and fun, then intense and dramatic. The ending, though I am sad to see the series end is terrific. I won't say more and spoil, but you need to read this series and finish up with this brilliant ending. I was generously given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The end of Gabe and Fiona's story, are we ready for this, I know I was I needed to know where they ended up and whether it was going to happily ever after or if it was going to make me cry.

The story in this book is very well written and developed and the plot is very fast paced, especially in this final book there is a lot going on and many things getting resolved. The characters in this book are very well written and this book really makes my heart hurt for all the things Fiona goes through and I spend half the book with my fingers crossed hoping that something good will happen to her.

Sloan Storm, this was an amazing series, with so many ups and downs that I don't even know where to begin on telling other readers about this final book, I guess my advice to other readers would be to read book five and read it now.

Brilliant ending to yet another fantastic series by Sloan. This series is captivating, sexy and emotional . The sexual tension between Gabe and Fiona is hot and passionate. I loved how Gabe helped Fiona come to terms with so many things that were holding her back and helped her build her self esteem and self believe. It's been wonderful to see the changes taking place as the story progressed. I've had a love hate relationship with Gabe from the start, I kept going from loving him to wanting to slap him. He is arrogant, cocky, doesn't know the meaning of being modest but deep down his heart is in the right place. He too changed a great deal throughout the story. I loved how their relationship developed and blossomed into something beautiful and how together they make a great team as they both bring different dynamics to their relationship, although Gabe will always have the last word......!

I was given this book for my honest review

This is an amazing amazing story by this author. This series with these two characters comes to a finality like no other. With words that were only said in thoughts between Gabe and Fiona one word only comes to mind when reading this book "Really". I have said this word so many times during this read that I wanted to pull my hair out but all in all it didn't so call matter cause the bickering that each had was funny, loving and overall sensual.

Did I mention the hotness of the sex?

This author created so much drama between Gabe and Fiona plus took a man-whore as it may and brought him out within himself. She also brought a shy, scared woman to the surface and made her brave with the help of the man-whore. For this series end Major Kudos.

I can't wait to see what other books that this author has in her. Simply Amazing

Fiona has accepted Gabes offer to return to work for him. This time she is adamant, she won't be alone with him at any time so he can't try anything. Gabe wants Fiona back, back on the Link project and back in his life. He knows they both acted in haste, sadness and anger and believes neither would have Sid the things they said otherwise.

This is the final book in this serial and rounds the series out nicely. Gabe and Fiona are great together, once they get last all their little problems and assumptions. Things finally start going right for Fiona once she gets back into the lab and doing what she does best, her science. Gabe's understanding of Fiona's situation seems to become more apparent in this book too, he's not quite so cold hearted like he could be at times in the previous books.

If there's a word for this finale is optimistic. Through a storm of pain, misunderstandings, hard work and terrible loss, Fiona and Gabe are finally reaching the light of success. I had a great time reading the last installment of this hectic serial. For example, when Fiona would muster her authority and take the reins of her life. The only thing she's powerless against is her weakness for Gabe, and that only translates into extremely detailed passion between them.

This time, though, it's coloured with a more positive and emotional connection. All their issues, both in business and of the heart, come to an exciting, romantic and fulfilling conclusion. Yay!

This has been an original serial with two maddening characters in the middle of a very engaging project, and it's been nothing but entertaining. Now I'm very curious as to what the author has in mind to surprises us with.

This final chapter in Gabe and Fiona's story was very well done. Excellent writing, the author did a wonderful job with bringing Fiona through the grieving process and getting her back on track with Gabe and the project at work. Gabe was patient, loving and kind and he gave Fiona all the space she needed to put her life back on track.

Loved this part!! I was so happy that Fiona finally found her backbone and had a come to Jesus meeting with those two witches from her dept. I was a little disappointed with Gabe on how he handled the whole situation, it seemed like he was trying to tell he she was wrong when he should have backed her up with no questions. The whole surprise that Gabe had for Fiona was great and I loved that all their friends could be there to share in their happiness. Both Fiona and Gabe are not the perfect person and each had their own issues in the relationship and at times you want to smack them both but they were willing to work on them and come together to make relationship work.

Brilliant ending to a great series!!! Every book got better and better I will say i feel like I'm still left with some questions. Fiona needed to tell Gabe something but I honestly dont remember her ever telling him. What is with her blacking out all the time?

You grow with the characters and each book has you feeling differently towards them. one book you may love Gabe but in the next hate him. Fiona some books you are rooting her on saying you go girl and others you want to tell her to grow a backbone and grow up. But all in all This entire series every book left me wanting the next one every single time. You kept wondering will they get their HEA or will they go there separate ways? 1 click this book today and find out.

Woooow! What a beautiful ending to a wonderful story. I loved it! Every book flowed into one another. Even with the cliffhangers. The writing superb! I was hooked on this story in the beginning with the banter Gabe and Fiona shared at the bar. This shy and socially awkward girl and that handsome egotistical man. I loved the way Storm descriptive writing had me feeling as though I was there. Her narratives just bloomed with every sequential book.I loved it!

Another great ending to this serial. I'm kind of sad I expected a bit more at the end. It fell a tad bit rushed, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm sad to see the characters go I like the some. I'm so glad Fiona is finally doing her thing and finally admits her feelings towards Gabe are deeeper then she once thought. Gabe blew me away I didn't expect him to go head first through the ending but now that I think about it it ole Gabe fashion he never loses. Their is only one thing that didn't get answered which has me thinking maybe a another part to this serial. I won't get my hopes up though it was beautiful story.

Great Series!

I was not expecting much when I started the first book, but figured I'd try it since all the books were on kindle unlimited. I must say....they were awesome!!!! This was not a flimsy erotic series. It was well written with characters that made you want you not want to put the book down. I liked how she let the story build on both sides properly before Gabe and Fiona became intimate. It had passion, anger,hurt, frustration and a lot more in this series. I felt satisfied with the outcome in the last book, it was wrapped up perfectly and not drawn out. Will definitely be checking into this authors' other novels.

Slipperless Book 5 By Sloan Storm

This book was the perfect ending to this series. I was to happy to read that Gabe was and is the man for Fiona…His project dedication to Fiona’s grandmother choked me up, and then when she gave as good as she got to those women she has worked with Amanda and Melissa I wanted to high-five her through my kindle!
This was a great story with in-depth characters that were enjoyable to read and watch become who you were hoping they would.
I do recommend this book to those who enjoy the serial romance.

I'm glad that Fiona and Gabe's story has come to a conclusion, although it was a bit of an anti-climax. The Link Protocol has successfully completed to win the investors and progress, but there was none of the Fiona drama from previous books, which kind of takes the story out-of it. At last Gabe decided he loved Fiona and needed to marry her, which was great and the right way to do it for Fiona, but I really didn't feel the love from Gabe and to be fair he has been horrible/harsh To Fiona in the past. On the flip side he needed to take control because Fiona was never going to.

Sloan has done it again this book was amazing the entire series was awesome i had my doubts with Gabe figured he was just a player but i knew some where he had it in him. This series you will want to pick up and never want it to end love the ending to this book and love how Gabe was at the end. I knew Fiona would start to be a stranger person. You dont want to miss out on Sloan Storm books she is a amazing author and this book will want you to throw and kill Gabe but in his way he did show Fiona how he felt. Please pick up this book you will not want to miss these two characters.

After 5 instalments, SLIPPERLESS has sadly come to an end. I really enjoyed this series and looked forward to each part every fortnight.
I love Gabe and Fiona's chemistry. It's electric and there are always sparks whenever they're in a room together. Yes Gabe is sometimes arrogant and has trouble confessing his feelings, but his admiration and love for Fiona is beautiful. Same goes for Fiona.
There were some passages I wasn't totally happy about, but it did not impact my overall feelings towards the story.
