Everything in my life always seems good for a moment and then BAM, it all goes downhill. Who knew being smitten by a bad boy with tattoos, rock hard abs, and a mysterious, sketchy past would be so difficult?
But I’m finally over Chase and ready to move on from all the drama, no matter enticing it is. He’s not who I thought he was. But has Chase really moved on from me? It's impossible to know if his feelings are genuine or just an illusion.
As secrets from both of our pasts continue to come to the forefront, what if I want him by my side? Easier said than done—his life is just as screwed up as mine. I soon realize everything I think I want, may not be everything I need.
This is part three of the series. Part four will be released on 6/14/15
This part of the series finally has Aiden getting his just desserts. Sadly that brings more problems got Chase and Brynn. There is more dark emotions in this book and I begin to question Brynn's ability to be happy. I mean what does the girl want from a hero. I enjoyed this as much as the other books but I would like to see a little more gratitude for Chase. Come on Brynn use that head for more than a coke buzz.
The drama continues. Brynn continues to h e highs and lows. Connor post depreciating posts on Facebook. Chase and Brynn get closer. Cade saves Brynn once again, from Aiden this time. He goes too far and almost. kills him. Both Chase and Brynn come from abusive backgrounds. Brynn ends it with Chase. I had trouble with her decision as Chase did save her Nd she knows his background with the abuse. All along in the series she is selfish, never seeing the other side. She copes with drugs and find it hard to pull herself up from the hole she's in.
