To return America to its foundations, citizens must learn again how the Declaration of Independence makes the United States different from any other nation in history. The Declaration says that rights come not from a king, the government or a Constitution, but from God. The Declaration also says that a government was to be formed with the consent of the governed to make God-given rights secure. 

Betrayed by the Bench examines how two academic theories of the 19th Century (Hegel and Darwin) transformed legal education, the courts and the culture.

Prominent American anti-communist author, Protestant pastor, and head of the Liberty Bell Press.

Stormer's main book, None Dare Call It Treason, argued that America was losing the cold war because it was being betrayed by its elites, who were pro-communist. It was published in 1964 and sold over one million copies in the first six months.

In 1989, he wrote that perestroika and glasnost were merely Soviet propaganda tools.

A very thorough and well-documented history of how the judicial branch of the U.S. Government has gradually and systematically usurped power from the legislative branch, from the states, and from the people.

Now that I have finished the book, I even more highly recommend it. In addition to the excellent history and analysis of the current power of the judicial branch of the U.S. Government, Mr. Stormer also gives an profound plea for all individuals who love liberty to return to the God who made this country great. He encourages us to address the underlying cause of the problems our nation faces, rather than only the symptoms. The underlying cause is that God has been and is being rejected and ignored as the source of ALL of our rights we enjoy. This was understood by our forefathers who built this nation, as was eloquently penned by Thomas Jefferson, in the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator, with certain inalienable rights..."
Those rights are not, and never were granted by government. As Jefferson continues, "...to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Good at showing that America's founding, and particularly the Constitution, was not non-Christian as many would claim that it was. On the other hand, the book goes far out on a limb to try to prove that the Constitution was explicitly biblical and Christian. There are better analyses available.

Solid history of how the courts took over and destroyed America.

I don't agree with everything of course. Engagement in politics isn't gonna fix this. It's already gone. The antichrist will take over. Engagement with a system that is antichrist is vanity.
