Every time Erin Nicholas writes and releases a new Sapphire Falls book, I always say that it’s my new favorite. Well, that tradition won’t be stopping with the release of Getting Over It! Wow! Just WOW! I feel like every other Sapphire Falls book has lead up to this one. All of the banter, teasing, sexual chemistry, flirting and arguments between Ty and Hailey were like a serious form of foreplay just getting us ready for their story. And it was amazing! Totally worth the wait!!
Hailey Conner was (and still is) Sapphire Falls “it” girl. Beautiful, smart, classy, popular-even though she’s a little bitchy and the mayor. No one knew that she was hiding a secret. A secret so big in her eyes, that no one but a select few could know. Not even the man that rocked her world and drove her crazy. Ty Bennett was (and still is) Sapphire Falls claim to fame. With a silver medal in the Olympics, Ty had his eye on the gold prize, until an accident shifted his focus. Now his eye was on his NEW gold medal, Hailey Conner. Ty had wanted Hailey for years. Couldn’t think of a more perfect woman, in general and for him. Ty’s style has always been “Go big or go home” so that’s exactly what he’s going to do!
Ty and Hailey’s arrangement worked perfectly for Hailey. Him making the decisions, a good time, hot sex and some distance were the formula for the perfect relationship for her. He was never able to get close enough to realize that she was wasn’t as perfect as she liked everyone to believe. All of that changed when Ty moved in next door. He was going to get his girl. Plain and simple. Everything was always so easy in Denver. Why couldn’t it be that way at home in Sapphire Falls. It doesn’t take Ty long to realize that things aren’t always as they seem.
I couldn’t get enough of these two. Ty was obviously sexy, because every Erin guy is! But, he was also so cocky, laid back, driven and sweet. He was the perfect combination of everything in a man! And then we have Hailey. She very quickly became my very favorite woman in Sapphire Falls. Just when everyone had written her off as a hateful snob, we saw her many many layers underneath and she turned out to be an incredibly strong, vulnerable, fun, playful, misunderstood woman. Getting to know her was one of my very favorite parts of this book.
You’ll get friendship, love, bossiness, hotness up against a wall, more hotness in the bedroom, swoon-worthy moments, post its and brownies in this one!
Happy reading!
