A motivating motivation book

Very easy to understand. More than one way to do things as the author points out everyone is different and everyone does things differently.

I have been reading a little on motivation this book however, is a great source no playing around straight to the point with so much valuable information and tools to reach your potential but it starts with motivation sometimes to get where we need to go we have to step outside of our comfort zones, work with the fear to overcome it and be willing to accept it all the good, the bad, the ugly and the pretty that comes along with it all. If you want a life filled with energy, passion, then accept the fear and use it as a steppingstone. This will show you how to overcome excuses, empower ourselves to move forward, how to change our way of thinking, how to overcome self-doubt and it also provides us with ways to achieve long term goals. Basically, it will better your quality of life.

Struggling with staying motivated to complete tasks or stay on task has been a problem for me if I have no particular interest in the task even if I know that it needs to be done. The author suggests changing my attitude about the tasks by creating positive reminders and redefining my goals to be as fun and interesting as possible. Probably the most important suggestion that I think will work best for me is to get support from family and friends to keep on track, Nice, well written book with good suggestions for motivating to achieve goals.

This is a great book about Motivation and it gives you 7 steps to get yourself more motivated and achieve your goals. While I have enjoyed reading this book I know it will get people going and motivated to get their goals achieved quicker than if they had not read this book and found these steps to follow to help them out.

This book was quite simplistic and I felt would have been better as a podcast or YouTube video. This book did had some good tips on action planning, goal setting and creating affirmations but these ideas I feel have been explored a lot and done better in other books of this kind.

The formatting did bother me in this book too however it was a quick and friendly read.

Reading this quick guide to motivation is like having a positive cheerleader in your corner. 7 easy steps that take effort but not too much once you put them into action. But I wish there was less mention of Tony Robbins.

This was a free short book on audible. I wouldn’t pay for it, nothing new on the “motivation” front... Quick listen while I did some Sunday morning cleaning that was .... uneventful and I completely understand why it was free.

While there is some good info here, the author’s tone is a bit judgmental and braggy which made it difficult to be open to the ideas presented.

Anytime someone repeatedly writes, “Trust me...” and, “Some people may not like this book...” I know it’s not for me.

Earnest positivity, distilled. Modern and timeless. Any critique would just be taste. To be honest, I liked this book more than I thought I would. Would have liked a little deeper dive on how to stay motivated, but that’s my personal current struggle.

Thanks to this book I finally stopped procrastinating and took action to get closer to my goals.
I think this book may work for you if you're an ambitious `person but just need a bit of a push. It also helps if you take notes and do the exercises as you read.
