Lauren Michaels is exhausted with the push and pull of copy editing for Los Angeles’s woman’s magazine, Frenzy, which caters to pop culture, style, and above all, sex.

She wants to write for the magazine rather than edit, but her boss is convinced that Lauren’s conservative tendencies won’t fit in with the risqué nature of what Frenzy is about.

Convinced to make her mark, Lauren begs for the chance to prove herself.

Her mission? To investigate the growing popularity of sex clubs in Los Angeles, and figure out how the sensual underworld functions.

Out of her element, Lauren starts her search with pen and paper in hand at a local sex shop, hoping she’ll find a trail that leads to the lairs of sex and fetishes. Instead, it leads her to Nathan Sanders. He’s daunting, charming, and a little too dark and mysterious for her taste, but Lauren knows he’s what she needs as her way in.

What she doesn’t see coming is that Nathan is all too willing to invite her to a nightclub she’s only ever heard stories about, and also the fact that Nathan know’s Lauren doesn’t have a clue what she’s getting herself into.

This could be fun, they said. There’s no harm in it, they agreed.

Little do they know, a little research can serve up some unexpected results.

Lauren is the bookish girl next door who is everyone’s best friend and can always be depended on by those around her. It’s almost taken for granted by everyone that she will always be in the background. When an opportunity arises to further her career and for her to snag her dream job at the magazine she works for, she grabs it with both hands. The only problem? Somehow, straight-laced, good girl Lauren needs to infiltrate LA’s underground sex club scene.

As luck would have it Lauren meets one Nathan Sanders after an unfortunate incident with a purple dildo. Nathan is intrigued by her innocence and invites her to one such a club – Fahrenheit.

I just loved Lauren. She’s a fun and quirky character and although innocent in the world of kink, she’s very brave and has a lot of sass. The book is really fast paced, with something happening in almost every scene and there is lots of witty banter between Nate and Lauren. As Lauren sets upon her journey of sexual discovery, those around her start to see changes in her – most of them for the better.

As he agrees to be Lauren’s mentor, Nate stays quite mysterious for most of the book and is very protective of his privacy but the mystery only adds to his sexiness. He’s cocky and dominant with a sly smile and many secrets behind his eyes. He has a deliciously filthy mouth and is very upfront with what he wants from Lauren. The cat and mouse game play at times makes for some great chemistry between the two.

Apart from this being an impossibly cute romance with some extremely hot scenes, it also has interesting commentary on sex and commitment. All in all this book is funny, witty, sexy and has some unexpected surprises. Definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for something sexy and fun to read.

I recieved a copy for an honest review.
I LOVED this book! It is hot, steamy and a little funny! I could definitely relate to Lauren and felt almost like we were the same person. Lauren wants a promotion to journalist at the magazine she works for. Her boss, and friend, gives her an "impossible" assignment that ends up getting Lauren into the most exclusive sex club in L.A., Fahrenheit. I am so anxiously awaiting Garret's Fahrenheit story!

Can a control obsessed/missionary-position type girl ler down her guard and put her trust in someone else? That's the ultimate question when Lauren "Lo" Michaels gets an assignment to explore the sex club scene in LA, in order to obtain a promotion with her magaizine.

What Lauren, her boss, her roommate, and just about everyone else, didn't expect, is that she'd explore that scene on a personal level. This all happens with an invitation to Fahrenheit, LA's dark secret club, made to her by a stranger in a sex shop. The whole set up is a bit odd, yet funny.

"Please take me to this secret society of sex."
(for some reason, this wording made me think of something our reviewer Ivy would say, lol)

I'm not sure what genre this book was labeled as, but it is an interesting mix of hot and humoroous. Usually with erotica, the books are intense as one's control is tested. And this book has that, where her ultra secretive companion, Nathan Sanders, tests Lauren's limits within the walls of Fahrenheit. That sexiness is counterbalanced with Lauren's awkwarkness and funny inner monologue.

"Shit, shit, shti," I whisper, watching this wobbling dick bounce around on the linoleum. I'm hopping back and forth, because it's rolling around as if it's chasing me.

Lauren and Nathan share an immediate attaction. They also share secrets. For Lauren, I was surprised and pleased how quickly she revealed her secret about her story. It could have easily been used as a drama plot, and I'm glad the author didn't take us down that route. For Nathan, he is all secrets, although nothing bad, I promise. He simply wants to have a good fuck, or several in this case, with no strings attacted. During their time together, they aren't to share anything personal about each other. Instead, they open up to each other physically.

"Control. Are you exhausted with it?" he asks.
"I am."

Just like any romance story, while the characters try to put on airs that it's all about pleasure, feelings ultimately get in the way. It's how these two characters navatage those feelings is truly the heart of this story.

While this book is a standalone, it sets us up for book two, which is Lauren's roommate, Garret's story. Lauren pinned for Garret for years, and of course, like all stupid men, he sees her in a new light as she begins spending time with Nathan. I loved how Lauren gave her friend some tough love.

"Don't push your judgment on me because you can't figure out how you feel."

He certainly deserved it with how he toyed with her emotions over the years. Given how everything works out for Lauren, I'm interested to see where his story leads.

Overall, this is an enjoyable story. It was great to read some erotica, even if it was on the light side. That genre seems to be missing from my current reads, and this book reminded me how much I've missed it. *adjusts TBR list*

Fahrenheit is everything. It brings curiosity, adventure, pleasure, humor, comic, references, panty melting Nate, pain, relief, love. Its an entire package deal. This is, by far, my favourite erotic-romance read.It is not your average book! This read is filled with so much emotion be it passion, fun, or love. I've personally enjoyed every word of this story from start to the end.

Alex Rosa has brilliantly presented this story to her readers. The execution of the story and the way it is styled, it is perfect.

Fahrenheit has a very unique start to the book. And I loved it because it hooks you to the book instant. Its catchy. Its starts off with Lauren working for a magazine where her boss wants her to write an article about sex and the things that revolve around it. Well, the boss things that she cannot do it. But Lauren is hell bent on doing this because she will get a promotion if she can pull off this article perfectly. But the question is- can she do it? (That's for you guys to find out, I'll keep my review spoiler free).

Then we have Nathan Sanders come in who throws Lauren into the world of passion. He helps her explore things about herself and in the course of the story she craves his touch. She does things which otherwise would have made her feel embarrassed, but Nate is different. He is absolutely delicious. Delicious? YES! The way the author has described Nate, the first word you hear yourself saying is " yum."

Nate is actually fascinated by Lauren's innocence and time to time makes fun of her. That's why he takes her to LA's exclusive sex club. What happens when she gets into the sex club about which everyone is talking about, but no one knows where it is? Oh boy, its treat! *wink*

In the last couple of chapters, the author presents an intended fallacy. Her writing makes you warm and fuzzy. Why? Well, you gotta read it to find out :D

The story doesn't just ends here, but it makes you crave for more. In this story you have appearances of Garrett, who is Lauren's roommate, first love, etc. And he is a total manwhore. Now it is time for book two, Garrett's book. I am super excited about it!

**Fahrenheit is a personal recommendation to all the readers out there**

I am stunned. I don't know why I'm so surprised with how much I freaking enjoyed reading this book! I'm still craving for more! The entire thing is witty, funny, sassy, steamy and seriously blush worthy. I was flipping the pages like crazy. I couldn't stop reading it! It's such a quick read, but it's jam-packed with scenes that will leave you breathless. Literally. There was never a dull moment. Plus, the fun and cool comic book references were such a stark contrast to the burning hotness of the entire book.

And Nathan Sanders. Dear God, I don't even know where to begin with this guy. I fucking love him to death. His mysteriousness and sweetness deep inside are what I love most about him. And his quite subtle kinky and dirty side. Good Lord. The way he never gave anything away about his personal life was something that hit me and intrigued me the most. Though that was until he started falling for Lauren Michaels, the innocent aspiring journalist who will go lengths to reach her dreams, even if it's pushing her out of her comfort zone. Like getting herself into the hottest and most talked about sex club in the city. I loved Lauren's quirkiness and drive. Her playful bantering with Nathan, the way she giggled like a teenager whenever he texted and reached out to her, the way she just melts into a puddle of goo and freezes up whenever she's around him, the way she could draw up personal information from Nathan even though he made it clear he'd never give anything personal about him away. I just fell in love with Lauren and her personality. Plus, the way she handled Garrett too. Which reminds me—I'm quivering like an addict waiting for her next fix, sitting here waiting for Garrett's story.

Anyway, to cut it short, I fell in love with this book and its characters. If you're looking for a quick, humorous, hot and kinda kinky type of book, I highly recommend this one. And just a fair warning, if you're curious on the hotness intensity of this book, well, let's just say it's not safe to read at work. Unless you're willing to be caught hot and bothered with your face burning up as red as a tomato, then by all means go right ahead. Lol!

For a book that describes itself as exploring the underworld of sex clubs it’s curiously vanilla.
Slight plot spoilers...

Just felt like there was so much more room to explore a lot further with both the characters and the dynamic of meeting each other’s needs and the heroine's self-discovery.
I have seen some reviews online describing this book as erotica and I would have to respectfully disagree that is more of a romance book with a few sex scenes thrown in.
3 Stars because while it fell short for me in some areas, I did like the hero and the premise of the plot. It was an easy quick read that acted as a romance palate cleanse.

I received this for free for an honest review!

Lauren Michael's is about to embark on a journey she never quite imagined. She is way out of her comfort zone when she takes an assignment of a lifetime. She wants to prove to her boss she has what it takes to be a journalist and not just an editor. She has agreed to test the waters into the world of wild sex investigating the popularity of sex clubs and get the story to prove she has what it takes! She ends up meeting Nathan Sanders who wants to show her the ropes! Let's just say WOW! I love Nathan!

Nathan is intrigued by Lauren's innocence. He thinks it'll be fun and worth showing an innocent what it's like to be apart of sex clubs and what they're all about. The only thing they really have to have a sexual relationship.
Can Lauren "the prude" really handle the pressure and pleasure of what is about it happen?

This book is HOT, HOT, HOT! I loved every minute of it. The Author does an amazing job of weaving the story and really did her research into making it believable. The dialogue between characters flowed very easily. I felt the author really put her heart into this book and I would recommend it to everyone.

5 stars!!

This book was just amazing! Fun, witty, smart, steamy and down-right hilarious at points, it had me all reeled in a chaos of feelings right from the very first chapter! I even laughed out loud in many occasions, something that started happening even from the second page.

Lauren has been working for her magazine as a print editor for quite a while. But, she has gotten bored of it. So, when a promotion is offered to her by her boss and friend, she is quick to grasp the rare chance. The only thing she has to do in order to get it is to write an article. But, not just any article. No. One that requires her doing some investigation of Los Angeles' secret sex clubs.

Her venture into an adult shop ends up with her meeting the mysterious Nate, who by the end of their witty exchange had already invited her to Fahrenheit, the most exclusive, private club, one everyone had heard of, but no one knew exactly what it was!

From then on, an emotional ride starts for both heroes and readers.
Nate helps Lauren not only get satisfaction, but gradually find herself, too. I loved the natural way this happened, and the fact that it wasn't easy, but took effort from both parts.

Everything, exceptionally written by the author!

I loved the characters.

The always neat and controlled Lauren who steps out of her comfort zone when she meets Nate. She was clever, smart, witty, and determined to go all the way in everything she does! I deeply admired her for that!
We were actually given so much insight to her personality and her way of thinking, especially since she was the one narrating the story.

Her "Batman", the nickname she used for him in order to ensure his anonymity (one of the basic rules for Fahrenheit members), mysterious, handsome and deeply challenging.

I even liked the rest of the characters. All of them had so much unexpected depth.

All in all, 5 stars for an amazing story, I fully enjoyed reading!

Fahrenheit by Alex Rosa is a story reminiscent of the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a movie I loved. While Fahrenheit might remind me of that particular movie, the book is much steamier. Fahrenheit is an exclusive sex club in Los Angeles and is about to be investigated by a want to be journalist.

Lauren in an editor at a popular women’s magazine and wants a promotion to journalist. In order to win her promotion she has to write a story of the hidden underworld of sex in Los Angeles. Out to make her mark Lauren starts at a sex shop in the Valley where she meets Nathan Sanders.

Meeting Nate was a stroke of luck that leads Lauren in to the sexual underworld and ultimately to Fahrenheit. With a pact in place, Lauren agrees to give her body over to Nate in exchange for his help gathering information for her article.

Nate teaches Lauren several lessons that she will eventually realize are not only about losing sexual inhibition but also finding her true self. The only problem comes when Nate gets too close and ends up running scared. Lauren still determined to get her promotion spins the direction of her article in order to achieve what she wants most.

Fahrenheit is a fun quick-paced romance with a lot of spice. Lauren is a relatable heroine and Nate is well a dreamy book boyfriend. The extraneous characters add to Lauren’s story especially her roommate and best friend Garrett. I highly recommend you get to know Lauren and Nate, the story is fun and the sex is hot what more could you want?

Fahrenheit has been a book I've been looking forward to since I heard about it on Alex Rosa's Facebook page, and through her Street Team; Once I got my hands on an ebook copy, it was only going to be a matter of time before I knew I needed a paperback copy. The moment I read the first page, I was hooked. As a reader, you start off on this journey with Lauren, thinking, okay, what is she going to get herself into, and how badly is it going to end up?

From that moment on, as cliche as it sounds, you're on a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with the trysts, the emotions, arguments and the conversations that Lauren goes through and deals with; you're literally there for it, every step of the way.

I love the way Fahrenheit speaks to my inner nerd, with references to Batman, and Spiderman, even if they came in the most unexpected ways, that had me giggling like an idiot afterwards. I love the way that with Alex's writing, you almost feel as though you're with Lauren, when she collapses down on her bed grinning like a school girl over her first crush, or when she's arguing with Garrett, or when she's explaining everything to Rebecca.

Alex Rosa has an amazing skill when it comes to writing, and that means you need to check out the rest of her books, and wait and see what else she has in store for us!

4 star review of Fahrenheit by Alex Rosa

Lauren Michaels wants to become a writer for the magazine where she currently works as a copy editor. When she is challenged to prove herself by writing an expose on the growing popularity of sex clubs in Los Angeles she is confident she can pull it off. The issue, no-one, including her boss or her

Totally out of her comfort zone she decides to start with investigating sex shops in the hopes that this leads her to connections with sex clubs in the area. This is where she meets Nathan Sanders, an alpha male, who is intrigued by her obvious naivety. He also has connections to a club she has heard a lot about in her research, Fahrenheit.

When Nate takes Lauren to the sex club, it is quite comedic, she is obviously overwhelmed and clearly out of her comfort zone. She also confesses her interest and why she accepted his invitation.

What follows is an interesting and at times sexy and kinky adventure. I really liked Nate but Lauren was a tad annoying.

This was a fun read, I enjoyed the author’s writing style and will happily read more form her and in particular this series.

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.***

I was a big fan of Alex Rosa's previous book, Tryst, so when I saw her release this book, I knew I'd have to get my hands on it.

This book did not disappoint. I already knew I was going to LOVE Nate and I totally did. I also LOVED Lauren's character...she was SO relateable (I feel like this is a trend for me in regards to Alex Rosa, she writes incredibly relateable characters!).

I loved the aspect of Fahrenheit. Probably one of my favorite parts though was Lauren's article in the end. It was fantastic. I really hoped throughout the book that we'd eventually get to read that article. It felt very "Never Been Kissed" but with it's own Fahrenheit twist. The ending was awesome.

I could not have asked for more. I also liked the little spin with Garrett and liked that Lauren and him worked it out....and that we will eventually get to see more of him :)))

As before, I'm a big fan. Thanks for letting me review another one of your books Alex Rosa!!!! You rock :)

Dude. So I finished this book in a day.

It's smut, but really funny smut. So be warned. You will be at your kids school, waiting to pick up your kid. Your going to start cracking up and another mom is going to be like "what's so funny?" And can you really start talking about dildos in the pick up line? I think that's a line that should not be crossed. No dildo talk at a place where there is also a swing set..

But the book was great. So funny, the characters were awesome. Nate wasn't just another Dom. He was more that the whole "I need control" he had a personality. Something the smut world has been dying for.

Just bro. Read the book. Have a laugh.

Started and finished this in a couple hours. Couldn't put it down. Just had to see what was in store for the lessons. Loved the batter between Lauren and Nate. Sizzling chemistry between them as well. Kind of bugged me how easy it was for her to say yes to his proportion. She just met him in asked store! Wish there was more of an epilogue but can't wait for Garrett's story.

Received this book from the author for an honest review. Great characters, great storyline, well-written, steamy, with a little romance and a little humor. I love Batman/Nate's character and once coupled with Lauren the sparks flew. I found myself at times feeling bad for Garrett and I look forward to reading more about him later. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more.

WOW! AMAZING! This is, by far, one of the greatest erotic romances I've ever read. Definitely in my Top 5 and one that is worth rereading and not alot of books are worth that.
This is one of those books where the characters are so well written that you can't help but to get emotionally invested. I laughed, I got nervous, I got angry and I cried right along with Lauren. It's very difficult to read through tears but I couldn't put it down.
This story shows what other books and movies have shown, it's impossible to have a no strings, continuous sexual relationship and not get emotionally invested.

Lauren is a copy editor at Frenzy magazine. It caters to women much the same as Cosmo does, only edgier. Lauren gets a shot at becoming the journalist she wants to be but to be consider for the job she needs to write an article about sex and it's underworld happenings. She's nervous about it but feels she can do it. Lauren has had her heart broken many times. She's also a peacemaker and sometimes treated like a door mat. Knowing she has basically no experience, she feels her boss is setting her up for failure because she wants Lauren to stay in her current position. Lauren's very good at it.
Not sure where to start her research, she goes to a sex shop. Looking around, she doesn't realize what alot of the stuff is or how people could actually use these items. During an embarrassing moment, she is approached by incredibly sexy man, Nate. Lauren tries to sound like she knows what she's talking about regarding the toys and the exclusive sex club, Fahrenheit. Nate sees right through her, to her naivete, and decides he wants to have a little fun so he invites her to go with him to the club. Lauren can't believe her luck! This is exactly what she needs for her article.
She's not sure what to expect. She realizes how far out of league she really is when they get there. She eventually gets so nervous she caves and tells Nate why she's really there with him. He grabs the opportunity to answer all her questions about the club in return he gets to enjoy her physically. No personal information exchanges, no romance, just sex. Lauren has no problem with that at all.
This arrangement is mutually beneficial but they are so attracted to each other that it's hard to keep the emotional distance. As much as she wants to fight these feelings, she finds herself wanting to open up to him and does so. There are times when he seems to want to open up to her also but then he decides not to. She sees his indecision. Lauren starts to question what's really going on between them.
It comes to a head when Nate accidentally falls asleep in her bed. When he wakes up he gets frantic and rushes to get out the door. He won't talk to her about it and basically says goodbye without actually saying it. She realizes how much she's come to care for him and needs to talk to him but he won't respond. She finally figures out a way to reach out to him and puts it all on the line.

Alex Rosa is a new author to me so I went into this book without any expectations. What I discovered was a refreshing story with a somewhat devious story line that I totally enjoyed. Who would have thought of what was instore for the two main characters? Much less the panty melting sexcapades.

Lauren Michaels is a copy editor who is seriously bored with her current job. There is nothing more that she would love than to become a journalist for Frenzy Magazine, the company she is employed by. So here’s the deal: her boss gives her a rather unsavory assignment of writing an article on “the popularity of sex meet-ups and the fetish clubs of downtown LA”.

Not one to back down from a challenge Lauren jumps at it! WTF did she just set herself up for? There is nothing more that Lauren wants than this promotion at Frenzy. Not taking the assignment lightly she sets out on her first endeavor, out to explore a sex shop…I laughed so freakin hard when she happened to drop a jiggling purple dildo!! She was definitely unprepared for other items she found in the store too.

Not only that but she meets the mysterious, handsome, sexy stranger…Nathan Sanders. Their meeting is comical. Needless to say it is Lauren’s innocence that tends to show through her confident, tough girl persona and tweaks Nates interest. This naivety and innocence plays right into Nate’s hands. To say the interest is one sided would be a misnomer. There was something about Nate that totally captivated Lauren’s interest as well.

Somewhat fixated, she becomes even further interested in Nate when he propositions her with an invite to Fahrenheit, an exclusive, members only sex club. SCORE!!! She has just gained access to one of the hotspots of LA, not to mention the in’s and out of the LA sex club scene.

Things begin to move quickly between Lauren and Nate as she accepts her first date with him to Fahrenheit. An agreement of sorts comes into play between Nate and Lauren that this will be sex only, no commitment, no strings and no personal questions asked of Nate.

This story has a bit of it all sweet banter between L & N, smoking sex, laughs, an adventure in pleasure and so much more. There’s so much more that I’d love to l tell you about this book but it would definitely spoil it for you.

Sex. A taboo subject that has graced our literature in many forms. Not all books with sex are good. Most are the most disgustingly written books to grace the shelves of the supermarkets but for some reason they fly off the shelves. But erotica done right… Not only will you get the steamy sex scenes that are very graphic, but you will also get a good storyline, well-defined characters and something that is actually enjoyable. Fahrenheit is one such story.

I must state here that I received an ARC of the book in exchange for my completely honest review.

Fahrenheit is one of the few romance novels I actually enjoyed. It was evenly paced with excellent humour and a storyline that is totally original. To be completely honest I signed up to review this book because of the author. Erotica doesn’t really appeal to me. Upon reading the first chapter I was absolutely blown away. The dialogue was witty, excellently written and very engaging. I think it’s fair to say I was hooked.

The plot of the story is one I haven’t come across before. While I was sceptical, I had no doubt that Alex Rosa could make it her own. Boy, she did just that. It has twists, it had turns but more importantly, it had depth. Something, in my opinion, most erotica books lack. That I praise her for. It had me hook, line and sinker and it wasn’t letting me go.

It wasn’t just the plot that I loved, it was the characters. Lauren and Nate are a match made in a sex club. While their meeting was a little unconventional you can’t help but love these two. Batman, I mean, Nate, is sexy, charming with a killer smile. He doesn’t like Lauren for her looks, but for who she is. She’s more than a match for him, with her witty and sassy quips and her self-assured nature. And that scares him. And Lauren, she’s all I look for in a female lead. Strong, sassy and headstrong. She doesn’t take Nate’s shit and she holds her own. Especially in that chapter where….

Wanna know the end of that sentence? Then go buy the book.

This book is funny, witty and just plain awesome. I loved every word of it. I will definitely be purchasing a copy myself. So what are you waiting for?! GO!!!

I received a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Lauren Michaels has been tasked with the impossible. At 26, she's the innocent best friend of a player and the Editor-in-Cheif at Frenzy, a risque Women's magazine. She wants more out her career, but her boss and friend doesn't believe her conservative ways will make her the best journalist. Her task is simple for anyone not this innocent, find out about the underground sex culture and sex clubs in Los Angeles. She's been hit by a stroke of luck however and meets Nathan Sanders just as she's begun her research. He wants something out of her and luckily for him, she wants something from him, and so begins their agreement. Research turns into a little more and Lauren finds herself in the process.

I wasn't quite expecting what I got out of Fahrenheit, but I wasn't disappointing either. Lauren is an intriguing character, almost too hard-headed for her own good, but that's what makes this interesting. Nathan proved to be an interesting character with far more depth than I expected as well, which really made me happy compared to the vapid, overbearing men you find in most erotic novels lately. The story is great with Nathan introducing Lauren to the club scene of Fahrenheit in exactly the way I would imagine it would happen in real life. It was funny, witty, and ended in just the way a standalone romance story should with just the right amount of smut.

I really wish there had been more characters, the only interaction is done between four main characters, two major and two minor, but it is done well anyway. I wanted more understanding behind Lauren's career at Frenzy, how did she make it into copy editing for a company like this with the way she blushes at anything sexual? I recognize her boss was a good friend, but still! There were also several grammatical errors in my copy, but I expect that will be different in the final release in September.

Fahrenheit was a fun read for me, definitely out of my normal scope, but I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading Garret's perspective.

Fahrenheit is a fiercely entertaining read, right from it's first sentence.

I have to admit, when reading the very beginning of chapter one, I had to laugh aloud. Then, of course, I was hooked by the knowledge that, while I had figured out that Lauren was in a sex shop, I was in the dark as to why when she was so obviously embarrassed on an almost puritanical level (even though that character quirk just contributed more to her charm).

Then comes along Nate, who is dark, broody, and sinfully handsome. And he completely fits the part of the cat who is trying to decide when to clue the canary in on the little fact that it was going to be swallowed whole. As is suggested by my previous sentence, Lauren is in way over her head and she knows it, though she is a bit clueless as to HOW over her head she is. It's quite amusing.

From there, the sexual song and dance begins. Lauren is a bit of a coward, Nate is the epitome of her dark, sexual fantasies come to life, and they make magic together. However, there are rules to be observed, and like in all good romances like this, the rules are thrown out the window over time. I quite enjoyed watching chaos ensue when that happened. It makes it more realistic, and more delicious.

While this romance has a darker sexual tone, I yet again loved watching how Alex Rosa made her characters blossom into better versions of themselves. Lauren learns some courage and Nate (or Batman ;) ) learns some courage as well, which is important to the pivotal story plot because it allows him to open up about himself (and open up to Lauren) and move forward with his life. However, Nate is quite stubborn when it comes to that, and there were several times I wanted to smack him upside the head for some of his actions.

In all, Fahrenheit was a read that was so delicious that I hated coming to the end. I was quite sad when the story was over, but thankfully, Alex Rosa left some hope for us readers in the knowledge that there will be a sequel. I can't wait to get my hands on it. ;)

Lauren Michaels is a copy editor at Frenzy magazine but she wants to be a journalist. Her boss is content with Lauren’s work but has given her an assignment that Lauren hopes will lead to a full time writing position. The assignment she was given is to investigate sex clubs and the inner workings of the mysterious and sensual sex clubs in LA. Lauren is uncomfortable with this but accepts the challenge because she wants that job.

While Lauren is nervously exploring a sex shop, she is approached by the gorgeous Nathan Sanders. He starts flirting with her and she tries to hide her embarrassment in being in unfamiliar territory. He offers to take her to the exclusive sex club that people secretly talk about…Fahrenheit. Feeling completely out of her element, Lauren decides to take Nathan up on his offer even though they just met.

Once they are inside Fahrenheit, Lauren is clearly overwhelmed and confesses that she is writing a story about Fahrenheit. Nathan confesses that he knew she was inexperienced but wanted to see what she would do. They decide to come up with a mutually beneficial arrangement: A no-strings-attached sexual relationship where Lauren agrees to let Nathan teach her a few things and he will help her with research. This arrangement seems rather simple…but is it really?

I think this story did a good job of showing how Lauren really pushed her own personal boundaries and grew as a character. Yes, this story centered on sex, but through those experiences, she learned more about herself, became more confident and learned that she needs to go after something if she really wants it.

The sex scenes were a bit tamer than I expected considering the setting of the story but I'm content with that. I would have loved to hear more of the story from Nathan’s view and hope that we get to see that in the future. This is the second book I've read by Alex Rosa and she did not disappoint. I find her writing style to be very entertaining, emotional, funny when it needs to be and real. Looking forward to Garrett’s story next!

A fun, sexy read by Alex Rosa!

I have to be honest - erotica is not one of my go-to genres. I’m a fan of Alex’s writing and her spin on romance, and so I was definitely keen to see how she tackled this genre.

The premise was a lot of fun - Lauren, a somewhat innocent budding journalist who is desperate to prove herself suddenly finds herself in way over her head. The opening scene was pretty priceless! Enter mysterious tall handsome man who seems like the answer to every possible prayer she may have had. Nathan introduces her to the risque world of underground clubs, and we get to see her undergo a fast series of lessons in learning not only about the world, but about what it brings out in her.

There was a lot I enjoyed about this! The writing is light, witty and punchy at times and the story moves at a good pace. There are definitely heartwarming and poignant moments but it is not overly heartwrenching, it keeps its tone relatively light throughout. It kept it refreshing to be honest.

Lauren is a bit stubborn, at times a bit clueless but very sweet and fun-loving, and it’s really enjoyable to see her get her feathers ruffled! Nathan is a bit of the cliched mysterious fella, enigmatic, take-charge, extremely attractive. The supporting characters supplement the story well, especially Lauren’s roommate who we will meet in greater detail soon!

If you feel like a humorous raunchy story then give this a go! Alex’s writing does not disappoint and always leaves me with a slightly goofy smile on my face!

I received an ARC for review purposes.

The cover, the blurb and the whole story make this book SEXY AND AMAZING.

Lauren Michaels is the prude and innocence walking. When her boss gives the assignment to investigate and tell what happens behind the doors of the sex clubs of LA, she starts making her research because this is the only opportunity she will have to become a journalist in the magazine.

The story is very unique since the start when Lauren starts her investigation in a sex shop and there is where Nate sees the innocence plaster over her
and this fascinates him and makes him curious. Nate offer to help and invites her to Fahrenheit.

Fahrenheit is a private sex club that makes everyone curious because is super mysterious. Everyone knows about it, but only the members are the ones that know the location and what happens in it. Is the place everyone whats to go but only some get the chance, since you need an invitation of a member to even go one night.

I like both of the characters because even though Lauren is new in all of the sexual theme, she is also sexy and feisty. On the other hand Nate is perfect. He is sexy and really dirty but the way he is wins your attention and heart since the moment he saids the first words in the book.

Alex Rosa did an amazing work in this book. The story show that the author really did research of her own. I felt like I was in the book with Lauren and Nate making the investigation and going to Fahrenheit because the book is well described.

This is an excellent, sexy, easy, and I can continue with the compliments but you need to read this on your own. Go buy it now.

Fahrenheit is told from a one person point of view; the main character Lauren Micheals. Lauren is an editor for a women's magazine in LA and longs to become a journalist. She practices control in all things in her life, but doesn't stand up or stand out to many. She is the wallflower type of girl that is comfortable in her own space and doing things her way.Being in the lime light or being the seductress has never been her style. She never really gave those things much thought because she figured that she didn't fit the mold to be the seductress or to be the center of attention. How things can change when an assignment she cannot refuse lands in her lap that can get her the promotion she wants mixes with a tall, dark, mysterious man Nathan Sanders!
Nathan Sanders is the exact definition of dark and mysterious. He leaves so much to the imagination when he meets Lauren in the most unconventional way. He lures her in with one simple question and his business card. The choice is hers and the timing couldn't be more perfect. However, Nathan is far more experienced compared to Lauren. Does she have what it really takes to step outside her comfort zone and surrender control to Nathan and unlock her hidden desires that she never knew she had burning deep within her or will she play it safe and let her insecurities get in the way?
Alex Rosa did a fantastic job with this book and it is well worth reading. Add it to your TBR!

4.5 Star Review
I was given this book for a honest review
This is the first book by Alex Rosa that I have read and I'm looking forward to reading more.
Lauren Michael is up for promotion but in order to get that promotion she needs to write an article on the wild sex that goes on in the sex clubs of LA. The problem is Lauren is not a wild child in fact she has never been in a sex shop let alone a sex club ......
Lauren starts off in a sex shop and this is where she meets Nathan Sanders and the conversation starts with the anal beads Lauren has in her hand. Nathan decides to help Lauren write her article by taking her to Fahrenheit and educating her in the world of sex clubs.
From here on in its a rollercoaster ride of emotions and arguments as Lauren learns what is needed to write a first class article and we are right there with her when she explains how its going with her boss and when she argues with her roommate over casual sex........
This book is full of funny smut, its witty and I hope like me you will laugh and fall in love with Nate and Lauren.
I loved how the cartoon characters Batman and Spiderman came into the story and I loved watching Nate help Lauren lose her inhibitions and grow in confidence as she learnt about sex and her own body. I also loved that Alex included the finished article in this story and I'm looking forward to book 2 .

4.5 Stars!

This book was amazing. Sexy, sweet, and fun, this book will definitely be a top read of 2015 for me. From the very first page, I fell in love with everything about this book and before I knew it, I had devoured the entire thing. You will laugh, smile, swoon, and fall in love while reading this book.

This is Nathan and Lauren's story. Lauren is in quite a pickle and she isn't exactly sure what to do. She has been given an assignment that will either make or break her entire career. And when she meets Nathan, she realizes he may be the key to exploring her desires and keeping her job.

Now, she is on a path of self discovery with a man who makes it his mission to give out as little information as possible. What happens when you realize you may have fallen in love who may not love you back. It is time for her to pony up and lay all her cards out on the table.

This book was quite quirky with a storyline that is common but with all the twists she gave us, it was totally unique in its own way. I loved Lauren. She was a total mess until Nathan. And Nathan... he was a hard read because this was told in only Lauren's POV, but by the end, I was good with him.

I am excited for the next book in this series!
I highly recommend this book.

Fahrenheit is such a fun book and it is oh so sexy. It is also hilarious in places, the author's sense of humour is fantastic. The scene where our heroine first meets the hero had me laughing out loud - which lead to me getting some very strange looks on the train! The storyline is interesting and the characters have more depth to them than I was expecting.

Lauren is a copy editor at a women's magazine, but she longs to be a writer. Not wanting to lose her as an editor, her boss sets 'prude' Lauren what she thinks will be an impossible assignment to complete before she'll hire her as a writer - investigate and write about the popular sex clubs in LA. Lauren doesn't shy away from her task, and I really admired her determination and courage. She meets the utterly gorgeous Nathan, and he promises to introduce her to the sexual underworld of LA. What starts out as a game for him, and research for her, soon develops into more.

I really enjoyed this book, it's a fun easy read. I'd definitely read more books by this author, and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Fahrenheit receives four out of five stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

I will firstly say that I Love the cover, the sex club setting, I thought from this it was going to be a bit more on the erotic side, but it wasn't, it was a sexy romance. Hot, witty, did i say sexy?? and with the usual drama I love in a good contemporary romance. So i wasn't disappointed at all.

So you know the synopsis, Lauren starts her research for her story in a sex shop (hilarious!!!!) and meets Nate, who invites her to a sex club, the exclusive, sex club, where she will get what she needs from him for her story un-beknowns to him!...... The date begins and so do the lessons!!

Nate keeps himself quite closed off, his air of secrecy is quite a sexy addition as it keeps you guessing all the way through, I had my wild crazy ideas about what it could be, all wrong.

The chemistry between Nate and Lauren was great, the writing was great, I could visualise all the places and scenes and there was plenty going on with the characters for me to get involved and keep page turning. I had a great time watching Lauren try and lose her closed mindedness when it came to anything other than vanilla sex.

My first from Alex, it won't be my last.
