***THIS IS BOOK THREE IN THE BOURBON SERIES***

Series order:
Becoming a Jett Girl
Being a Jett Girl
Forever a Jett Girl

Justice. Faith. Power

The words I live my life by, the three keys to my success, the foundation I built my entire empire on and now Goldie holds them all in the palm of her hands.

She once was a Jett Girl, a piece of me, a safety net I grew to depend on. She once was mine…heart, body and soul.

But now she’s gone.

I fell for a girl I should have left alone. I let her consume my life, control my feelings and own every aspect of my being. I tried to keep her, to make her see what she was doing to me, to clue her in that breathing was impossible without her around.

But she ran, she gave up and she returned the one thing that claimed her as mine, she gave me back her collar.

This is the story of a desperate man who lost everything that ever mattered to him… my little one.

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

I missed Goldie and Jett's world so much! This conclusion was extraordinary! It starts exactly where the second book ended. It show us how much Goldie is willing to sacrifice to protect and help Jett, all because LOT 17.

What can you expect? The whole gang of course. The Jett Girls ( I laughed so much with them ), Kace ( can't wait to read his story ), the bad guys AKA Leo ( Jett's dad ) and Rex AKA Loser. New characters and Jett. Oh Jett! Where can I find my own Jett?

Forever a Jett Girl is the conclusion to this series and probably my favorite in this series.

I must say that normally come book 3 or 4 in a series, I am bored by what is happening and things are starting to become redundant. But that is not the case here. Meghan saved all the good shit for last!

Goldie/Lo has taken things into her own hands. She has no plans but knows what she wants the end results to be. She is playing in a world where anything goes and with the right amount of money, anything can be achieved.

Jett is clueless and has no control – something he has never dealt with before. Jett needs control and having that one thing taken from him, well let’s just say the man isn’t himself.

“She shifted the atmosphere of the entire club. The girls always held the cards, but she turned into the fucking dealer.”

Jett and Goldie are both working towards the same thing but neither has any idea what the other is doing. Everything comes to a blow and things start to get even more hairy for Jett and Goldie. Nothing can ever go right for these two.

Meghan does a fantastic job of writing this from various POV’s but never gets anything tangled or loses the focus. It flows really well and keeps the excitement alive. I enjoy reading what is going on in other character’s minds as things are happening around them and how it affects them.

Meghan’s quirkiness is a highlight for me as I am reading this book. I love the witty humor and the crap that just flows out of Goldie’s mouth. The banter between all the characters really gives the book life – makes it feel more real. I find myself laughing ALOT but it never deterred from the seriousness of what was going on.

This is one series that I will always find myself going back to. Bravo Meghan!!

It's the end of this series and I can't complain. The MCs ended up just ask I expected. Despite the whirlwind in the first half. I was very surprised to get Rex's POV. Dude was creepily delusional. In the first book, I thought he had potential. Yes, he was paying her for sex, but she said he was sincere in that he wanted to give her a better life. He wasn't a good guy.

I still feel for Kace. I really really love him. I'm not sure if Lyla is the one for him, but seeing as how he'll be getting his own story, I just hope whoever he ends up with is worthy of his awesomeness.

I'm excited for the spin-off books of Kace, Diego and Zane. But what about Blane? I think he merits some interest as well.

One of my fave lines: “Like a razor to a stray pube, I felt myself move toward him. Fuck, I was gross. Note to self, don’t use that analogy again.”

Bourbon Kingdom, book 3 in the series by Meghan Quinn is OMG insanely GOOD!! It is probably THE best one yet in this series. This book starts with Goldie leaving Jett for Rex but it isn’t what you think…She has a huge plan to save Jett and everyone that is with Jett from ruin…Love her sassiness and spunk. Problem is , she doesn’t know how to go about doing it so its all on the fly. She just knows Jett needs to be awarded Lot 17 by the city council so that he will quit acting so crazy and finally calm down but will that mean their love will flourish instead of floundering? Oh the emotions that are felt in this book are desperation, anger, love, passion, sadness, tension, angst… it will take you on such an emotional roller coaster ride.
The characters act at a fast pace and there is such a level of drama, suspense, tragedy, heartbreak, scorching sexy moments, intense twists and unexpected epic surprises. This is a story that will stay with you even after you have finished. Goldie and Jett’s love story is one for all times. I enjoyed all the characters, loved how everyone- main and secondary made appearances and hope to read about Goldie and Jett again.. Someday. They are truly memorable, one of the amazing books I have read.

My Rating: 4.8 stars *****

Unfortunately this nose dived - when Jett stated he was brought up not to show feelings and that it was a sign of weakness. He said that the moment he showed any weakness Natasha "his wife" was taken away from him.....but confirmed he didnt love her.....so there were weak aspects with the final part of this book and I gave up.

Shame really because this had great potential, good plot but I lost interest due to over production of the same issues, same lines and her over active lady boner!

I have to admit out of the Jett Girl series, this was probably my least favorite book as it took a while for me to read through it. I guess I really liked the Jett, Goldie, and Kace chemistry. In the Bourbon Kingdom, Goldie has taken matters into her own hands and told Jett to have faith in her and that she will be back. Goldie knows that Lot 17 means the world to Jett Colby and if she is ever to have a future with him, she knows she has to take down the two men standing in Jett's way - Rex Titan and Leo Colby. Goldie goes back to Rex and gets him to invite her to his club , where she plans on exposing him. Things are going to be a bit harder than she imagined as Rex has found another plaything Mercy who he has trained to be the perfect submissive. What I did like about this book was it showed Goldie for the strong female she was and not some female who has to rely on Jett Colby and his money. I hated Jett's character as it was like , come on Jett she obviously is up to something as she wouldn't run back to Rex after she has over and over again given her heart to you to love. I did like the ending and how the newcomer Blane was also tied to Kace and Jett's past. I am now looking forward to the last book in this series which is Kace's story. The one thing I really loved about reading this was the memories it re-ignited from my week in NOLA as Cafe Dumond and the French Quarter feature in Bourbon Kingdom.

I’m so glad Goldie got a back bone, finally putting her foot down. I loved this series. I’m shocked to see that Meghan could write books like this. ♥️ I’ve always known her books to be a fun romcom with spice, but this took me off guard. The story was so different from anything I’ve read, I was invested in this 3 book series. Now do I want to read Kace’s story? Idk He was a pretty interesting character in the Bourbon series. ❤️‍🔥🤭

Original Review @ Naomi’s Reading Palace

I have been excited to read Forever a Jett Girl, the final book in the Bourbon series after the slight cliff hanger in the previous book. I wanted to see if Goldie was able to help Jett in his pursue of Lot 17 and to see them back together again. It was a difficult journey for both of them as they doubt their feelings and lack trust in one another.

Jett was a bit lost after Goldie’s quick departure, he has the need to control everything and realised that he cannot always do that with Goldie. He was quick to put those walls back up and became the hard person he once was. I was sad to see that he didn’t have faith in Goldie, and wanted to put her into his past as quick as possible… Thank goodness for Kace and the other Jett girls, who help him focus and put him back on track.

Goldie wants to save Jett for a change and believes what she is doing is the only way to do so. She is putting herself into a difficult situation, but is gathering the Intel she needs to help Jett. She is still as crude as ever, saying exactly what is on her mind and often made me laugh. I loved the fight she had in her, and how she didn’t let Jett push her away. They had a few difficult times, but there were heaps of good moments between them as well.

I liked seeing all the Jett girls again and how they rally together in times of need. Kace was still his brooding self, and I am keen to get his full story and to see whether his potential love interest will be able to get into his heart. From what I can see, there are going to be plenty of spinoffs… and I cannot wait!

There were lots of twists thrown into Forever a Jett Girl and most of which I never saw coming. Some were good, others were interesting, but one in particular was jaw dropping. I had no idea as to the direction of this final book, and I felt at some stages that both characters were overreacting to certain events. I could still see the passion between them and felt that it was a satisfying end to Jett and Goldie’s story.

We're back with The Bourbon Series with Forever a Jett Girl. One of my faves by Meghan Quinn. It was bittersweet to read this final installment in the series as I wanted to know what happened so badly but at the same time I didn't want it to end. I'm happy to say that this had the perfect amount of angst, laughter, nail biting nervousness and love. It was nice to get back in with the gang and it felt like this great love I had for the characters was ending *sniffle sniffle*

Goldie takes matters into her own hands and leaves Jett. Will Jett have faith and believe in Goldie's ability to help see them through this dangerous dilemma they are facing with Rex Titan and Jett's father? Who will win Lot 17? And how does the story end between Jett and Goldie? All questions will be answered by the end of Forever a Jett Girl. You will find yourself hating your kindle, crying and laughing so hard you will actually piss yourself. I wasn't warned that I needed depends, I'm actually quite ticked off at Meghan Quinn because she normally warns people if they will need a change of panties (for the sexy steamy reads) or depends (for the hilarious scenes) that unfold in her books. Some of our favorite terms come back for a visit "vagina face" and "tree trunk" are ones that come to mind. I was also introduced to some new ones like "Jolly Green Giant", her terminology is so much fun that I find myself crying, yes I'm crying because I laugh so damn much!

"So, when I was in the kitchen, discussing Jett's little macaroni, what I really meant was the man was sporting a cannoli fit for the Jolly Green Giant...if the Jolly Green Giant was gay and could open his mouth wide enough to fit a grapefruit in it."

"It was a tree trunk, a cannon sitting between his legs, the arm of a grown man...and it looked like that arm was about to fist me."

I was amazed with how much Kace revealed to Goldie. I just hope he gets his happily ever after one day, hopefully in his own book ;-) I was very pleased with how Jett and Goldie's story ended. While we were used to seeing the cold shell of a man Jett Colby in the first installment, Jett has really changed for the better and finally learns to let the past be exactly what it is, the past.

This book was the best conclusion to the story possible. I don't think it could have neded any better than this book!

I was wondering how Meghan was going to keep the story going, while keeping me interested. It isn't that I doubted her; It was just I wasn't how much more she could add to the story.

This book was just as good, if not better than the first one in the series. It had me laughing and chuckling left and right. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Goldie crosses enemy lines in order to try to make life easier for her and Jett. Jett feels abandoned and broken because he thinks Goldie has left him for good. Both on a mission to make sure Jett gets Lot 39. Both fighting the enemy at all costs. Meanwhile, they both are walking a dangerous line that could end badly.

I am not going to go into the story too much. I will tell you if you have been following this series, you don't want to put off reading this book. It is funny, witty, entertaining and genius!

Eh. It went from unconventional romance to conventional romance by the end of the series. Don't get me wrong because I'm not complaining... well, not exactly. It's just that it became awfully cliched in a roundabout way.

What I like about Meghan Quinn's books is that each character is layered, even the side characters. All of them have a depth to them so that it is easy to picture them and befriend them. It's a gift unique to few author's, and she does it pretty flawlessly. What's exceptional about her talent is that she did it in her earlier works, like this series, as well as in her latest releases.

I loved Goldie. Her crassness mixes with her humor to make her endearing. I'm not sure I understand how every man in the book fell for her, but she and I would definitely be friends.

I love this author's humor. This book was laced with more of it in the filler scenes that didn't feel like filler. I hate it when authors fill their books with scenes that are so obviously in the book to make it longer and have no bearing on the overall story. Quinn includes filler with important details that are entertaining and informative.

I really liked this series. I appreciate that she keeps her stuff on KU, too.

Meghan Quinn’s Bourbon Series is now fully published. It consists of four books: Bourbon Sins, Bourbon Deceits, Bourbon Kingdom and Bourbon Truths. The final book, Bourbon Truths, is written as a standalone, spinoff even though it basically picks up where Bourbon Kingdom ends.

I enjoyed the first book in Meghan Quinn’s Bourbon Series. The premise for the series is great, but I felt that as a series, it was too drawn out. The books are overly filled with drama, angst and sex scenes in order to lengthen the story. There are several aspects of the story that were insufficiently explored. Further development of these plot points would have made the series richer. Inclusion of more details on Jett’s father’s plans (his perspective is not developed enough and it would have brought more dimension and suspense to the story) would have given the story more suspense and foreboding. Natasha, Jett’s prior love interest, is mentioned frequently, and in book one, Jett fears for her in her relationship with Rex, but she is not mentioned aside that. The loss of a girlfriend doesn’t seem to be a big enough reason for a life-long grudge. There is mention of a “mole” in Jett’s organization, but that is neither explored nor revealed; that one aspect of book 2, Bourbon Deceits, had me on edge wondering which Jett Girl was jealous enough to become a traitor. Needless to say, it was disappointing that a mole was neither explored nor identified. The other Jett Girls are not given much background until the last book, Bourbon Truths, and while presented as women down on their luck and given a chance at an education and self-improvement, when socializing after work, they talk like cheap prostitutes. Ms. Quinn might have given them the foulest mouths east of the Mississippi in order to infuse humor, but for me, it made for less realistic characters especially as the story progressed.

The Jett Colby character is golden; he may be imperfect and wounded, but he is probably the purest of all the characters. Goldie is crass and vulgar, and that only worsens with the progression of the storyline. I really couldn’t get into that character—she fell on hard times after Hurricane Katrina, but her character is written as if she was born and raised in the gutters of NOLA. Even though she is given finishing/manner lessons, her etiquette doesn’t improve. While Goldie’s colorful descriptions of both male and female anatomy are probably supposed to be humorous, I found them to be distasteful and detracting from the storyline.

Kace is enigmatic and brooding until the last book in the series, Bourbon Truths. In that final book, readers get some details about Kace’s past and present. He becomes a three-dimensional character whom readers can care about and understand, and that book truly makes Kace an empathetic character for whom you can hope and cheer.
The writing style and story structure in the final book, Bourbon Truths, is the most complex and interesting. Kace’s story is presented in dual time lines, and there are multiple points of view. In my opinion, the best written book in the series.

Jett is clearly a loyal friend and champion of the underdog. His loyalty and belief in his best friend, Kace, is heartwarming. The women he takes in have definitely improved their situations in life, but in the end, Goldie is as much Jett’s savior as he is hers. Overall, 5 stars for the story premise, 2 stars for pace and plot development, 3 stars for characters. I enjoyed the series, however, I strongly feel that with good editing, this good series would have been a fantastic standalone novel.

One of the genre descriptors (from Goodreads) is BDSM, however, BDSM is only mildly inferred. The vividly described consensual sex scenes do make this series a NC-17 read.

Oh wow, this third book in the Bourbon series has everything: romance, intrigue, brooding alphas, sexy women and a bit of drama thrown in. I just can’t get enough of Goldie’s potty mouth.

This book starts with Goldie leaving Jett for Rex but there’s more to this than what you think. She has plans to save the world, Jett’s and hers that is. The only thing is she doesn’t know where to start and how to go about it. If Jett is awarded Lot 17 by the city council, will he finally have his happy ending with Goldie?

This sassy and flirty heroine has no filter but she is so darn lovable. The good guys in this story all have history but managed to come out on top, literally and figuratively. I love that Kace and Diego get to play bigger roles in this book. Kace has his own problems to deal with and when Goldie’s best friend, Lyla, enters the picture he’s in over his head. So far book 3 in this series is my favourite. Goldie got sassier and we get to see Jett’s lighter side, finally! Lots of bedroom banter between the main characters made me laugh out loud.

“What? Is my ass that nasty to you?” he asked, feigning insult.
“What? No, your ass is nice,” I backtracked. “I just...I mean, I don’t do the finger in the hole thing. I mean, that’s your job...wait! No, I mean, finger in the hole, yes, but not in the stink, just in the pink. You know, the vag...”

This book is so much fun to read, it is light hearted with a touch of drama and heck, even the bad guy is a hottie! Scorching hot bedroom, bathroom, hallway and office antics will make your temperature rise just perfect for the cool weather we’re having right now.

Goldie Bishop was a young beautiful woman that had endured so much in her life. Thinking she had finally had found happiness, evil, despicable men were putting an end to her comfortable life. But like always she was not going down without a fight but at what cost will she be able to freed Jett and her fragile relationship to obtain the illusive happiness?

Jett Colby was not used to losing control, yet when he was with Goldie it seems he did. Facing the dirty blows that his father Leo Colby and nemesis Rex Titan were trowing at him he had to do the hardest decision ever but would it backfired on him?

Goldie and Jett have this crazy passionate relationship one is willing to do anything and everything for him, the other one is not willing to release the control he has always has in the tip of his finger. Will he be able to have faith and trust her like she is asking him to do?

As I finished this book I have mixed feelings. I am extremely happy how this series ends, couldn't have asked for anything else, Yet I am sad this incredible came to an end. From book one Meghan Quinn had delivered an exceptional stories and she didn't let her readers down.

This series started with a BANG and that is exactly how it ended. If you don't have the pleasure of knowing Jett Colby then I suggest you to go and start reading this series, you will not be disappointed. I guarantee it.

Sexy, sassy and sinful, Forever a Jett Girl is the ultimate finale for our mismatched couple. The third book in the Bourbon Series takes off where book two left off, with Goldie leaving Jett. Now, you and I know what was behind her running, but I hate that Jett's faith was tested.

Spunky, feisty, and raw Goldie is back and is more determined than ever to protect those she loves. Packed with secrets and lies surrounding our couple, what possible way do they have to hold on to this relationship?

Meghan Quinn brings Goldie's not so soft side back - with her smart mouth, speak-before-you-think mentality, and undying love for Jett. Jett has never been one to have faith in love, but can he find his faith for Goldie or will he lose her forever? I love the fact that Jett's girls surround the couple and do what they can to push everyone in the right direction.

Lots of push and pull, sexy against-the-wall sex, and twists and turns throughout Forever a Jett Girl will keep you reading long into the night. I think Goldie and Jett get their perfect ending and I truly cannot wait for Kace's story. Oh, and there's a new guy who might just be getting his own book as well (sexy racing guy)!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

With Goldie trying to infiltrate Rex's life to try to help Jett we get the addition of Rex's point of view. I like being able to see what was happening on the other side of the fight for Lot 17.

This series has good mix of fun times and funny moments, hot steamy scenes along with a spattering of serious angst and this continues through Forever and Jett Girl. It was good to spend more time with Goldie and Jett and watch them try to figure out how to be together.

Unfortunately for me, at the 70% mark or so when the outcome became a forgone conclusion, I lost interest in Jett and Goldie and as a result I didn't really feel the emotions that were on the page. By that point I was more interested in what was happening with Kace. I am very pleased that Kace will be getting his own story.

Forever a Jett Girl didn't reach the highs of the first two in this series, I did enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this series.

I have scored this 5* for the story as a whole, as well as for this book!

This is the third in the series (I'm loathed to think it is the last!) and you definitely need to have read the first two already! Even though it is a while since I read them, it took mere seconds to be immersed back in their world. The characters are all so interesting, and knowing their pasts, even more admirable (or not!).

I loved that Jett had to really stretch himself to cope with Goldie's leaving, and to start to learn what love is really all about. I loved the intrigue; I was fascinated by the new major player, Zane, in fact it was all a fabulous read. The only downside was that it ended!

I do hope that Ms Quinn is busy penning more wonderful stories - her voice is incredibly effective on the page.

Bourbon Kingdom by Meghan Quinn is the epic conclusion of Jett and Goldie´s story. Bourbon Kingdom is the third book in the Jett Girl / Bourbon Series and is a full-length novel. This is not a standalone. You must read the previous books, Bourbon Sins and Bourbon Deceit, first.

Bourbon Kingdom picks up where Bourbon Deceit ends up. Goldie broke up with Jett and is now with her old fudge-buddy and Jett´s enemy. Jeff mourns her absence. Goldie has her own agenda. This book gave me whiplash. The characters act at a fast pace. There is drama, tragedy , twists and unexpected turns. And hot hot sexscenes.

Favorite Quote : " You cna´t make someone love you, no matter how hard you try. "

This story has it all—tension, angst, suspense and heartbreak. I've smiled, laughed, cried and was angry at some point. It is not often I feel so connected to the characters, but Meghan Quinn has accomplished just that. I love the story, the characters and the words.
I give 5 stars. Thank you Meghan Quinn !

Loved this series. Goldie (whose name still has not grown on me) has left Jett in an attempt to reclaim their lives. This of course sends Jett into a tailspin because he constantly needs control but also because of his fears of abandonment. Jett has a plan to bring down his father and his archenemy Rex, which he hopes will get Goldie back. After Rex and Leo are brought down, Jett and Goldie have to work out all their problems. The book got a little sappy at the end but it was a nice ending to the story. But it was also the beginning of Kace's story which I am super excited for.

Goldie has a wicked sense of humor and more than a million ways to talk about sex. Here's a favorite quote :
"Was there even a bar nearby? Maybe a Target? What’s the point of buying property if you can’t get drunk and then drunkenly wander over Target to purchase over a hundred dollars’ worth of unnecessary crap?"

I was mad and shocked by the way Bourbon Deceit ended that I couldn't have started this one fast enough. I was mad as hell and I wanted some explanations.
Jesus... I was so nervous...
The plot was magnificent and intense and that left me anxious and nervous.
I thought that my heart couldn't take anymore surprises but they kept coming and coming.
Let's just say that I had embarked on the most bumpy rollercoaster ride of my life. The suspense, deceit, madness are so present in this book as well as love, desire and sexiness.
I was mad as hell but I needed to know what happened with this two and once I started it I couldn't put it down.
Let's just say that this was the perfect ending to the perfect story. I loved this two.
Thank you Meghan for this amazing stories.
And thank God my prayers were answered because I'm about to dig into Kace's story...

That caterwauling that you hear is me trying to calm down. Meghan thought it would be fun to break my heart and rip it from my defeated body. I truly believe this woman has a skill at shredding unsuspecting victims' hearts to pieces.

if you have been following my Bourbon series journey, you know that I have enjoyed them all. But Kingdom, is extra special to me. I love Goldie in her feisty, completely insane, yet everything you want from a woman who talks about cow vaginas. She is a special breed. Kingdom let's her grow and see things in a different light. Or maybe it's all the extra feels...

Jett, Kace, and Diego all have their special place in my heart. I may even make room for more ridiculously handsome panty melting men in my life. . But one thing these men have in common, they have no control over Goldie.

Lack of control, rising issues, and fear rule this book. Hold on to your seats, panties, and your emotions because this ride is bumpy and we aren't stopping.

Bourbon Kingdom had me on the edge through and through. I love Goldie, but her stubbornness comes out through and through. She tries her best to move on through life. Jett is not letting her go. I love his vision of what he will do for the community center and the new life he is making for the Jett girls. Everything seems to be in place except for one thing. That is having Goldie back in Jett's life.

This book is a great end for these two. There are more emotional experiences that Goldie will have with her parents and Jett's mom. This was a beautiful part to read. There were moments I was sure that everything was at a loss. The love that Goldie and Jett have is unbreakable and definitely undeniable. There is a lot of sexiness happening with these characters that will make the Heat in this book go up a few notches. I am on my way to read the next book in this series and see what makes Kace tick. I love that man and know that there is much more than meets the eye.

4.5* read.

The final chapter in Goldie and Jett's story and my favourite yet. After the ending in the last book I couldn't wait to get started on this book. Jett has finally give Goldie everything but Goldie's left him and this brings out a whole other side to Jett that we haven't seen before. This adds even more to the drama and angst side of this series mixed with some suspense and heartbreak this really is a great ending to there story.

We left off with Jett losing his heart and Goldie in a bad predicament. This story was a little angsty with a little suspense and mix of Meghan’s witty humor. It was sexy and fun and emotional. It was everything this series was about. I’m looking forward to uncovering Kace and his brooding ways.
