Mouse Overboard!

When you're with Geronimo Stilton, it's always a fabumouse adventure!

My family and I, Geronimo Stilton, were invited to Lisbon, Portugal, to retrace the journey of the great explorer Vasco da Gama. He was the first European to reach India by sea -- and was apparently an ancestor of the Stiltons! But once we got on the boat, I learned that someone was trying to sabotage the voyage. Could I figure out who?

Geronimo gets a chance to Vasca da Gama in a reenactment. Of course things don't go as planned, but Geronimo is able to save the day.

This was a great pick for my sons first chapter book. The chapters were short, so it was easy to read one or two at bedtime, and the print was large, colorful and full of words in different fonts to make it easier for little eyes to follow along. I also appreciated how the author interspersed pictures that frequently reiterated what was just read, but shortened and illustrated, making it clearer for small kids who aren’t used to reading so many words at a time. I read this to my 6 year old and my 3 year old, and they both loved it, wanting to read it again now that we finished! Looks like we will have to get some more Geronimo Stilton books!

We are so impressed with your reading! In "Mouse Overboard!" by Geronimo Stilton, you learned about the importance of courage and facing challenges. Geronimo shows that even when things are scary or difficult, being brave and trying your best can lead to great adventures and learning. Remember, like Geronimo, whenever you face something new or challenging, whether it's trying a new activity or solving a problem, being brave and giving it your best effort is what truly matters. Keep exploring and learning, our brave little adventurer!

Love,
Mom and Dad

It is a good book. I had written about a mouse book before and like the book. My favorite part is I disturbed a cloud of dust and began to sneeze. ACHOO!. I like that part for no reason. My favorite character is Benjamin because he is cute and I like him, he looks like my cat. My cats name is Chandler.

The boys were excited when our curriculum suggested a GS book for our history study about early European explorers. The usual hijinks, but with a historic reenactment angle.

This book was all about Sally Ratmousen plotting against The Rodents gazette. Sally was the main competitor of the Rodents gazette.Geronimo's grandfathers friend invited Geronimo and his family to Portugal to help him out with something. My favourite character is Vasco Da Gama because he was very adventurous and he is a real person. He is known to find a sea route to India.y favourite part in this book was the ending bit because her plan was amazing and she also had some good backup. Someone helped her escape using a speedboat.i liked the ending part as the plan was put into place very well.i loved this book as it was packed with facts and a lot of other interesting but true events.
i rated it a 4 because i thought it was very dumb to call Geronimo Vasco Da gama's ancestor because these two are completely opposite while Vasco da gama loves travelling. it doesn't really makes sense.if i could change the book then i would make sure they would be an attack on the ship and everyone works together to help save the ship and rebuild it

I think that this book is a pretty good book but it has a little boaring stages and the mystery was very obvious.
