Sweet western novella. Skye Jordon realized her only option to have protection against Burt Hicks and the killers he employed, was to send for a mail order hunsband. She needed a man who wasn't afraid to stand up against Burt and his men and needed a man who would free the town from being terrorized by them. She done the only thing she could and placed and ad for an outlaw mail order husband. When Heath Dillon answered her ad, and wrote letters to her, she knew he was the one she wanted to protect her and her gramps and the town. Heath Dillon was a notorious outlaw, pardoned by the Governor along with his gang of men for information on other gangs and bringing them to justice. When he saw Skye's ad for an outlaw mail order husband, he jumped at the chance to wed her. Undercover for the Governor, marrying Skye would help him blend right in while he protected her and her gramps, and put a stop to Burt Hick's inciting fear and turmoil upon the town. Facing a dangerous adversary, Skye and Heath found they would have to fight side by side and learn to trust each other. Could they be stong enough to survive and have the future they both dreamed of? Outlaw Mail Order Wife; By Proxy Book 2 The Outlaw's Of Stoney Creek Outlaw Mail Order Family Book 3 The Outlaw's Of Stoney Creek
This book has clean romance set in the old west. A pardon outlaw arrives to marry and protect his bride, her grandpa and ranch from a bad man and his gang. The story is well written. An action back story that would make a prime time movie. The couple is falling in love while everything is going on to clean up the town. It is hard to put the book down. I wish the book was a little longer. I will be watching for more books by this author.
Skye and Heath's story is remarkable. Action packed pages. Ex outlaw Heath marries Skye to protect her and the entire town. The town forms together to help him and the adventure begins. I love Cia's books and this one is one of my favorite. I highly recommend if you have never read one of her books do it and you will gladly be reading more.
