SERIOUSLY SEXY SCI-FI SERIES !!!
Rhal, Part Two - The Ujal Series: 5 DELECTABLY DELICIOUSLY STARS
Oh my glory! Buckle up my lovelies cause here we go again! Erin Tate has dazzled us yet again with another addition to her hit Sci-Fi series, The Ujal, and what a deliciously delectable morsel it is! This book is entitled Rhal and is the third book in this series. It is being released in a series of five installments so be forewarned, there will be cliffhangers. But never fret, Parts One and Two were both released on June 2 and Part Three follows closely on their heels with a release date of June 5. Installment Four will be released on June 12 and finally, Installment Five will wrap it up on June 19, at which time the complete bundle will also be available to those of you who want the complete bundle. Wow! How thoughtful is that? Tate is always looking out for her readers and I am definitely a fan. I first became hooked on Tate's books when she published Vados, It was not only the first book in The Ujal Series but also her very first offering in the science fiction genre and so as they say, the rest is history and I've been obsessively addicted ever since. But I digress, so let's talk about Rhal. The story is original, inventive, well developed, well executed, exciting, romantic, seductive with a little humor thrown in for good measure. The dialogue is smart, snappy, exceptionally well written and flows effortlessly. The characters, my favorite part, are captivating, fascinating, engaging, intriguing, sexy as sin. They come to life and jump off the pages while capturing your imagination and your heart. Tate expertly combines these elements into a science fiction masterpiece filled with adventure, suspense and romance. After reading Erin's stories, I go to bed and dream of handsome, sexy aliens, and in this case, sexy aquatic aliens that can shift from beautiful scales and tail-fins to hunky muscles, skin and legs. Oh my! Sigh......If only they were real! Cara Marte is not only having a bad day, she's having a bad life. First, she falls head over heels in love with Mr Sexy On Legs, Rhal fa Adar, one of the Ujal warriors stationed at UST, the Ujal Station Tau, their land based station. And why is that bad you ask? Well, for one, Cara works at the the UST which is where Rhal works everyday training their recruits and soldiers so there's no way she can avoid him. Two, he outright lied to her face and admitted that he did it intentionally. What a jerk, albeit a handsome jerk! Three, he rejected her which in turn caused number four, a broken heart. Yep, her heart is not only broken, it's shattered beyond repair. He is such a jerk-wad, but still a handsome sexy one! But what she doesn't know is that Rhal truly does love her and is willing to let her go to save her from the horror of his past sins and the consequences they may hold. He can never tell her and will love her from afar. Well, we all know what happens to best laid plans and good intentions, don't we. They usually get blasted all to haydees! Oh my goodness! So what does a girl do when she's been rejected by the man she loves and is nursing a broken heart? She tells Principessa Rina, mate to Prince Tave, who has been her best friend since childhood. And wait for it....Rina not only convinces Cara to go to the Population Ministry, she accompanies Cara to the Population Ministry to submit an application to the Intergalatic Mating Agency to request a match for a mate. Huh? That's how Rina was matched with Prince Tave. Even if it was without Rina and Tave's knowledge, it still worked out well for them so why not for her, right? Wrong! She's always been that girl. You know, the one that everything bad happens to. Well, I can seriously sympathize because that girl has always been me! Anyway, back to the story, she is rejected! What the heck? How is that even possible? She's told she's unmatchable due to degenerative genetic material and their decision is final; no further petitions will be accepted. What does that even mean? Well, I guess we'll have to read the book to find out but I will say this.....Beautiful curvy human woman with a lot of junk in her trunk who is hopelessly in love with a Ujal-check! Handsome sexy Ujal warrior/assassin who is in love with his human true mate but is willing to give her up to save her-check! Oops, I may have let a little spoiler slip! Danger, drama, heartbreaking angst, suspense, heated attraction and fiery passion-you bet! That and a whole lot more and that's just in the first installment! Wow! As, I said earlier, here we go again! I love it! I can hardly wait for the next installment! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Still a jerk of a man... I don't blame her anger cause now she can't move on and is stuck with him.

This is the second instalment and catches up with Cara ten days after Rhal broke her heart. Not only is she struggling to come to terms with Rhal lying to her but to add insult to injury she has been told her genetic material is defective! What is a girl to do? Oh and just add in those awful flu like symptoms she is struggling with and life is really getting her down.
Luckily living at the beach is a slight consolation and when a chance encounter with one of Rhal's fellow warriors causes scales and unmitigated pain to descend on Cara it's time to get answers and I'm afraid they are not quite what Cara was expecting!
Great instalment with enough answers( but truthfully I'd guessed) to keep me engaged but even more intrigue as new characters are introduced . Cara is in flux but Rhal seems to have stepped up. Now if only we can learn more about the king and those around him then maybe Rhal's previous attitude will make sense.
Part two was too short for my taste but as a freebie on kindle unlimited then I'm sure many will be happy. I'd probably prefer to read the whole story which will be available to buy June 2015. Recommended for those who enjoy sci fi romance with humour and a delicious twist!
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review
I'd say three and a half as it is short but for Goodreads will round to four

My ARC was given to me for a honest review. I would give 5 stars for this novella, The Ujal: Rhal, Part 2 by Erin Tate. The science fiction alien romance story is about humans and aliens for readers 18+ age group due to sexual content.

Cara Marte is still having problems with Rhal. She's trying to do her best. Seemingly Unexpected events have arisen for both of them. At the moment, Rhal fears for Cara.

I got caught up in the original storyline, the drama, and was happy about the way it progressed. The novella stayed at a good pace throughout the story. The dialogue was realistic throughout the novella. I was able to identify with Cara. Both characters stay true to form. Be forewarned that the ending is a cliffhanger because it isn't a standalone. The Ujal: Rhal by Erin Tate has five parts (part 1- part 5) or as a complete set.

I hope you will enjoy reading this novella, and I know I did. I will read the next sequel in this serial . The Ujal: Rhal, Part 3 by Erin Tate it is next on my reading list.

Thanks for reading my review.

Couldn't put it down until I finished the series

Right after alien hottie Rhal abruptly dumps Cara, she loses her dream of a mate and family due to her "degenerative genetic material."

Cara misses Rhal and is constantly reminded of him while working and living at the Ujal's ocean-side base. To make things worse, Cara now feels strange--achy, irritable, out of sorts, and she almost has an erotic meltdown while talking to a Ujal co-worker.

The series finds its stride in Part 2 and really gets good. Just like a TV series, this second "episode" hints at what's to come but reveals enough to get the audience hooked.

Trouble is brewing. The battle lines aren't quite visible yet- but they're being drawn, and Ujals are taking sides.

The author gave me a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

all i gotta say its about time Rhal lol. and i don't like the king or his son Sudal . like Tave and his mom but the king no
and boy what will happen due to newcomers and how does Rhal know them . and how will the king be when he realizes Rhal wants nothing to do with what the king wants .
what will happen if Sudal and the king come between Cara and Rhal . find this and much more with Rhal book 3 or read the full set 1-3 and then read Erun's story after that and look for more on the Ujal series .
this was given to me in part of the box set volume one from the author in exchange for an honest review .

A really good read I feel so bad for Cara going through breakup can be hard on anyone especially if you're feeling is not reciprocated then your trying to doing everything in your power to forget them but can't. Rhal can't seem to get it together either. Overall a really good read looking forward to see what's going to happen next.

I’m really enjoying the Rhal series. I feel for Cara and Rhal is just strong and stubborn. Cara is shocked to find out how her life is going to change. Rhal is stunned at what is happening. Rhal’s past actions have set into motion some political backstabbing. As things are starting to build up, I can’t wait for more.
