House of Fear
The tread on the landing outside the door, when you know you are the only one in the house. The wind whistling through the eves, carrying the voices of the dead. The figure glimpsed briefly through the cracked window of a derelict house. Bring horror home with a collection of haunted house stories by some of the finest writers working in the horror genre.
Magic: An Anthology of the Esoteric and Arcane
They gather in darkness, sharing ancient and arcane knowledge as they manipulate the very matter of reality itself. Spells and conjuration; legerdemain and prestidigitation – these are the mistresses and masters of the esoteric arts. From otherworldly visions to diabolical political machinations, here you will find a spell for every occasion.
End of the Road
Each step leads you closer to your destination, but who, or what, can you expect to meet along the way? Here are stories of misfits, spectral hitch-hikers, nightmare travel tales and the rogues, freaks and monsters to be found on the road. Strap on your seatbelt, or shoulder your backpack, and wait for that next ride... into darkness.
‘In recent years, no one publisher has done as much for the short form of speculative fiction in Britain as Solaris.’
