This is the heroine, Sara.
Her thin, dark brown hair had grown a little straggly, but it hung past her shoulders. Her bangs and layers gave her an edgy, almost seductive look. Sara liked her hair, and even though she didn’t always properly groom it, it still had this just-fucked look she always liked. (Kindle Locations 89-91).

Yeah. Doesn’t she sound lovely?
She has divorced her husband ‘coz she was bored. He is described as perfect. Odd, that. In fact, she says any other woman would think her husband was perfect. She’s got two kids whom she ignores and forgets to pick up from soccer practise or feed. Coz she’s busy in the bath.
She’s had two baths in the first chapter.
And she doesn’t know what an orgasm feels like.
Sighs
The nest day, as Sara drove to work…

Nest? Next.
Her handsome ex-husband with his flawless physique; his hair cut short, a perfectly trimmed mustache and pressed clothes. She stared at him, knowing she shouldn’t but the needed to get laid remained her he was an easy target. If she needed to.

Remained her??? Reminded.
Don’t fuck your ex, honey.
She gets dressed and goes out to a biker bar where she lives it up by drinking Bud lite.
Bwahaha.
Chapter 3 reads as if it was written by a different person. Suddenly she’s a prude.
She meets the Biker Ryder in a bar. He takes her home, tells her he has blue balls and she thinks he’s ‘disgusting and immature’. Ffs.
The sex is worse … ‘slippery conditions inside her ass cheeks’.
I am a porn snob. Use ‘cum’ and I’m out of there.
Sara had never been opened that wide without being in stirrups at the gynecologist’s office.

*whispers* this isn’t sexy.
Moans don’t ooze, he doesn’t ‘gain entry’, and I really hope he isn’t ‘trying to push through her pubic bones’.
Ugh.
Sliding back it felt like his cock was hitting the inside of her belly button…

aaaaah??? Omg.
Shuts book
Jesus. That was awful.

Sorry, this was a DNF for me.
Sara acts like a fourteen year old, not the mature woman she is meant to be. She is selfish, bitchy and entirely self-centred. She got divorced from a handsome, loving attentive man because she was 'bored' with him being kind and providing her and their children with a comfortable, stable and peaceful life.
It left her two kids without a father in their lives, and a dippy mother who forgets to pick her kids up from school and doesn't feed them properly. Then this straight, mature woman gets so turned on by looking at her own genitals that she has her first ever orgasm. Her denigration of her best friend who is was only trying to help, and multiple ! had me rolling my eyes. When the nasty piece of work considers using her poor unsuspecting ex for sex because she's feeling a little horny, I gave up.
If this was real life, I'd be hoping the ex ends up with the kids and Sara ends up with an irritating personal itch, but I really couldn't be bothered to find out. I never even got as far as the title character,(read to 20%) so if it got better, I apologise to the author.

Ryder was a Sexy Rugged Bad Boy Biker who likes to sleep around and Sara was a divorcee soccer mum. Sara had lived such a boring life with her ex husband Greg, she just had to get out. So she pops along to a local biker pub and finds just what she needs a Sexy Biker that she can have no strings sex with.
What Can I say other than Wow! This books contains a Sexy Rugged Bad Boy Biker. A Soccer Mum and some hot steamy sex scenes between the 2 of them. What more could you ask for? My kind of book!

Recently divorced Sara wanted to step out of her old life and finally get some excitement that she deserves. When she steps into the local bar she get a lot more than she bargained for. Will the one night of excitement turn out to be more than she can handle or will it be just what she’s been looking for?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sara did everything they way she and her best friend Darlene planned. She married her high school boyfriend, had two kids and worked with her husband. The problem was that was no longer what she wanted. Her sex life was predictable and unsatisfying making her feel like she was less than desirable. Leaving her husband was just the start of getting what Sara felt she was missing out. The problem was her best friend, Darlene and her ex-husband Greg just thought she was going through a “phase” but it was far from it.

This is the first book in the trilogy and it a good start. Sara is a bored wife who just happens to work for her husband. The bored part has everything to do with the unsatisfying life she currently lives. Her now ex-husband was her high school sweet heart whom was the only guy she’d been with. Sara is a proud hard working woman who thinks she knows what she wants. The problem is never having the chance to explore life when she was young has left her feeling it now that her children are more independent. I give her kudos for trying to explore different things in the bedroom since her sex life was so border lying predictable. I found her to be a woman who was willing to step out of her comfort zone and experience things she was interested in. On the flip side I felt that her best friend Darlene tried to hold Sara back. Discouraging her when she should be encouraging her but that fact that Darlene was still close with Sara’s ex’s had a lot to do with that. Darlene lived the same plan that Sara did but she just happened to like her life the way it was and couldn’t understand why Sara craved to get more out of life. I loved that Sara took charge of everything that she could be and decided that she could go out and find herself a one-night stand while her kids were with their father. Adding to the fact that she stepped into a biker bar not even knowing it was but not backing down from the adventure she set out to have. This was good start to the series and I look forward to seeing what comes next for Sara.

After divorcing her vanilla husband, Sara is ready to cut loose and have a one night stand.

Tricking herself out to get rid of her soccer mom style, Sara ends up at a biker bar where she spots Ryder.

Ryder has a hit it and quite it attitude which makes him perfect for Sara's needs.

This was a short read that develops into a three part series. Okay, where to start? Sara at first really annoyed me when it came to her ex husband Greg. They got married right out of high school and immediately started a family. She complains how vanilla their sex life was and how they only had sex on certain days. But if their sex life was so bad it was her failure as well but she takes no blame. She is pretty much a failure as a mom as well until her one night stand with Ryder. Then she magically starts paying attention to her children.

Ryder is pretty much an "a" hole to women. He doesn't want a relationship with anyone but keeps a woman Molly around to warm his bed when the mood strikes. I will say he is up front with her about using her but she is so in love with him, she clings as much as she can. I think Ryder and Sara both have a lot of growing up to do.

What I loved about the book was the sex. I think Sara and Ryder had some major chemistry and the details of their one night stand was HOT! No vanilla there! I hope the character development will improve but the sex is outstanding. I would definitely be interested in reading part 2 just for the sex alone but hopefully see where this couple is heading.

An ARC was received for an HONEST Review

Lone Rider by Jamie Black was an ok read.

It had a lot of potential for sure. I could relate to Sara on a few levels actually, being single and divorced raising kids on your own is hard work. But also trying to find out who you are in the grand scheme of things and wanting to make changes in your life but also knowing that whatever changes you make affect those around you.

Sara is a divorced woman who longs for excitement in her life. Marrying her high school boyfriend so young having kids right away, the only thing she had to look forward to was Thursday night sex which only left her more frustrated than anything else. Her husband was boring, her marriage was boring, her life was boring. She needed more wanted more, deserved more.

Eventually, she left her husband, divorced and started to make a life for herself and the 2 kids. Sara just wanted a one night stand no attachments, she wasn't looking for anything else except long hot sweaty monkey sex.

Enter Rider .. a man she meets at a local bar that she talked herself into going to after a few drinks and after some witty banter he takes her for a ride on his bike that leads them to Sara's place. Both of them end up having the best sex of their entire lives. But all good things must come to an end, both only wanted one night, no strings attached, no emotional commitment. So why is it hard to say goodbye and walk away?

This was a very quick read and left you wondering what happens next? I know I'd like to find out.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review. reviewer for 2 girls who love books xoxo Bella xx

so this is part one if three in a new and up in coming series by Jamie black. I would like to say that I have never read anything by this author before. and it was a brilliant start to the series. but saying that I am a huge fan of mc reads and it didn't disappoint.

so we meet Sara.. a bored at home all to well stepford wife.. who gets tired of her husband and his silly Thursday night specials.... amongst other things... so she decides to have a wild hair gets glammed up and walks into a bar... to when she meets Ryder....

Mr hot oh my... he wears a patch.. and she wants the dirty... so after a few shots and a lil courage she leaves the bar on the back of his ..... steel stallion... on 2 wheels

so after getting it on like Marvin gaye.. she kicks his ass outta bed hahahha...

so I loved how Jamie had written about Sara and I laughed at a few parts.. you can not help but fall in love with Sara and be drawn to the hot Ryder.. mr sex on a pogo stick... I loved how this started off the series and gave you a lil taste but I did only give it four stars coz although I loved the book it felt a lil shirt for my taste.. but I'm sure book 2 and 3 will be amazing..

I'll be defo on the look out for more from Jamie in the future.
thank you for letting me read this book.. I really did enjoy it

“She was as close to Ryder as she could possible get, holding him tight, and without even realizing it, she laid her head down on the back of his shoulder. She could hear his heartbeat, even over the loud motor of his bike and for a split second. I would love this guy.”

5 smokin’, bad boy biker stars!! Short but to the point read!! It’s filled with steamy sex and a hot alpha!!

Sara is recently divorced, bored and looking for a little fun! She heads out one night looking for some fun and ends up at a biker bar where she meets Ryder, a smoking hot biker! Ryder isn’t looking for love but when Sara walks in he’s instantly in awe! She gets more than what she was looking for that’s for sure.

This book ends with a cliffhanger of sorts but that just means there’s more to come and I can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

Sara has always done what is expected of her. She was a responsible wife, mother and friend but when her marriage crumbles due to a boring home life, she decides for a change, something she would never normally do. With much thought, she decides that she will throw caution to the wind and try to have a "One night stand".

This is where our "Anti" hero comes in. Ryder is everything any woman could want in a guy, good looks, great body and drives a motorcycle but his reputation for loving and leaving is notorious. With this gem of information, Sara decides she would have to make a play on him. He is the answer to her problem. No strings attached is what she is looking for and Ryder is the man to give it to her. Or is he?
Something happens to our Bad Boy's emotional state and he isn't use to these feelings in his chest. How could this occur?

This story was very short and sets up the reader for Book 2. Hopefully in Book 2, we readers find out more about Ryder and what he has going. Because Book 1 defiantly gave Sara's back-story. Lone Ryder is not a heavy and is light hearted but hopefully is gets more interesting. I do have to say that the sex scenes were fantastic and hopefully these two go at it again. Can't wait to see what is in store for the next book.

This story was intriguing. I really enjoyed the storyline. Sara was a newly divorced woman with two children. She had been the one to end her marriage of many, many years (they were high school sweethearts) because she was bored with the way her life turned out. Sara wanted sparks and to feel wanted and, to feel passion that was lacking in her marriage. She decides she needs a one night stand. Nothing more, nothing less and goes in search of this where she meets Ryder.
And that’s where the story lost me. They meet, they finally have an AMAZING night together and then the story ends. It just ends. I needed more. I needed something. I got the connection with the two characters but I needed just a little more to make me really want to invest time in these two. I wanted the characters to be better developed. We didn’t learn much about Ryder until the end of the book and his story just lacked. And now I have to mention the lack of editing (and I normally never mention it unless it’s bad). Words were misspelled and misused and even the names of some of the characters were wrong.
If you want a hot, fast read, then this is a good book for you. I’m curious where this author takes the rest of this story so I will read the other books once they are all bundled together.

I'm not really sure what the hell this was, other than NOT GOOD.

Sara seemed like a 14 year old living in a twenty-something year old body. Emotionally stunted, self-involved, and after only reading the first page, I couldn't bring myself to care about her.

What kind of mother forgets to pick up her son from soccer practice because she was having a bath? The same kind of mother who also forgets to feed her children, apparently. Ok, I get it. Sure, even I had teenaged fantasies of what my life would be when I grew up, but it didn't take me very long to figures out that the fantasy was never gonna happen. I did NOT have one of the three children I fantasized about, nor did I start having kids at 18 to make good on some stupid teenaged pact.

There were so many editing mistakes, incorrect words, bad grammar, I'm not sure this wasn't written by a teenager. So, so many !!!! At one point, Sara becomes Sarah and Ryder becomes Ride, all on the same page.

And I'm gonna agree with another reviewer here, and admit to being a bit of a porn snob - the use of the term 'cum' has really negative connotations for me.

Just gotta say, once again GR reviewers are really failing this reviewing thing. There is no way in hell this is a three, four, or five star read.

Erotica at its best

Sara is divorced and has only ever been with her ex. So when she decides to go to the bar and grab a drink and a one night stand, she didn't expect it to be the best night she ever had. The real question is would she do it again with the bad biker boy

Sara is basically every mans walking wet dream. Saddled with a sexually inattentive husband for 14 years, she's now divorced and in need of a one night stand. Not just any one night stand though, she wants a man who's going to push her up against an wall an show her what her body was made for.
Ryder is a hit it an quit it kinda guy. A sexy as hell, well endowed biker who knows how to take care of a woman.
Once the deed is done he fears she'll get clingy like they all do but is surprised when she's all good with pushing him out the door.

Part one is a quick, steamy read. It's a bit of Sara taking back her life and exploring her sexuality, I loved her stepping up and taking what she wanted. I'm dying to for part two though, I want to see where this is headed!!
Great start to the series, you'll be hooked in just a few chapters.

I was given this book for an honest review
Jamie Black is a new author to me and I enjoyed this book although I did find it a bit short.
Sara is a newly divorced woman with two children, she married her high school sweetheart and now it's her time to explore her sexuality. She wants a man to take control, push her up against a wall and show her just how much you can enjoy sex.
Ryder is a larger than life bad boy tattooed biker, he knows how to pleasure a women but never stays round one for long.
This book was very much Sara's story and background and I hope we get to know more about Ryder in book 2. The sex in this book was steaming hot and I loved how Sara was taking her life back and trying new things.
Great Start to the series the only downside was how short this book was

Who is Sara and how does she find herself in a biker bar one night? The bar Is called 4 Play. Who does she run into while she is sitting in her Caddy outside building up the courage to go in? What happens with that person after Sara wanders to the bar to buy a couple of beers? What Sara's favorite thing about the bar was fun, reading, almost being able to imagine what Sara is hearing and feeling and doing. When does Sara find time to go out, being a now divorced mom? What does she feel like she is? Who is the person who drives her to this 'distraction'? An interesting, fun read that had me grinning.

Being single mother of two, Sara decided to go into a bar by herself for the first time. Hoping to find what she is looking for, a one night stand with a guy so see what she had been missing. Considering she got married at age twenty- two with her high school boyfriend. There she met a biker goes by the name Ryder. Ryder is know to woman as a player. He waits until he is ready to talk before he acknowledge you. He is also not a type of guy that well want a relationship with a single woman. Every woman want him but all he wants is a one night stand, which just what Sara want. To sleep with someone with no string attach. But the question is. Is that want she truly want is to sleep with Ryder once and not want to go back for more? I guess we well find out in the second book. Ryder on the Storm.

I like a book where the alpha male finds someone to settle them down when they never saw themselves as someone that would or could settle down. Sara, a nice meek woman, was all it took for Ryder. She thought she had the perfect life, married her high school sweetheart, had children and thought everything was great. One night alone she discovered, after the divorce that there was something missing from her life. She decided to go to a bar by herself for the first time and found Ryder, they were instantly drawn to each other. Ryder still was not ready to settle, and kept his other woman, since he only had one that he allowed back and eventually he became bored with her and there was only Sara. I am ready for the next installment so I can see where Sara and Ryder go.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say I loved it! The writing is smooth and the ideas flow. Ryder is H-O-T and Sarah is a strong woman in search of her identity. Ms. Black’s sex scenes are STEAMY!!! And the drama is minimal, this adds up to a book I can really get into. This book is short, only about 58 pages, so I’m glad I got it as a review copy. I understand that authors are trying to make a living, but I don’t think I would pay $3.99 for a book that is around 100 pages, which is what the next two books are. I give this book 5 stars with 3.5 hands down the pants.

I don't even really know where to start with this one. I get that Sara was bored with her husband and his vanilla style intercourse but really that is no reason to get a divorce when you have children together, at least not without speaking about it in an adult manner. Also the way her and Darlene talk to one another it's like they have no clue what sex actually is, like they are just exploring what to put where rather than being grown women. Furthermore, Ryder is a bit of a jerk and I felt Sara was highly irresponsible bringing a stranger to the home she shares with her children.

Some thing doesn't add up!

Just okay..hard to believe that divorced couple lives so happily and still has sex every Thursday night...a woman doesn't know if she has an orgasm? After fourteen years and two children she hasn't learned anything about her body but one night with a biker solves the mystery?
