Pretend for Him

Rate this book
“You really love each other? Prove it to me.”
Riley grew up under the same roof as Colin. The straight and firm-bodied college men are best friends. When their campus prank takes a wrong turn, however, Colin and Riley are faced with an extreme ultimatum. They must pretend to be gay, for just one night, or be expelled from the university.

Colin and Riley have no choice but to fake their love for each other. Much to Colin’s surprise, his cunning plan stirs something deep and unexpected inside him. Colin tries to put aside his new feelings for Riley, but his desire cannot be ignored. Especially not when Riley shows up in Colin’s dorm room, in the middle of the night, hungry for more.

Colin and Riley are stepbrothers. They are very fond of each other. Colin has always been very protective of his younger brother and would do anything to protect him and his future. One day Colin falls in big trouble with the risk of being expelled from the university. A situation with Dr. Devillen, the president of the university will make him pretend that he is gay and that he has a boyfriend. That boyfriend will later be played by his younger brother Riley! This fake relationship awakens many feelings inside Colin for his brother that he never thought they existed. But does Riley has the same feelings for his brother?

“But this is wrong! You’re my brother! We’re brothers! Our family would never be able to accept this.”

This is a gay erotica in which the romance between the two characters takes the centerstage. The taboo flavor of the relationship still added lots of punch to the story even it the two characters were stepbrothers. The story is narrated in a third-person style but I feel that the focus on Colin's character was more than on his younger brother. The reader will get to read about the conflicts that go inside Colin's head in regards to his newly found sexual attraction for his brother. The sex scene between the two and the happy resolution of the story both were quite satisfying.

Hot short story

Colin and Riley were very hot together. The situation of having to pretend to be boyfriends was a bit far fetched, but this was a fun, quick read.
