Absolute must read for all Vampire/fantasy book lovers! Once I started i couldn't put it down, amazingly put together for a first time author, the twists at the end had me reeling and counting down the days for book 2.

It was the first book in a long time that I couldn’t put down. I finished it in a day because I was so fascinated by the story. The author, Jessica Bethany has a clear talent for captivating her readers with her ability to make you feel part of the story ; I could picture everything she described so clearly and smell and see everything she depicted.

Irish vampires? A hinted love triangle? Sign me up!

Congrats to the author on their first book! Really enjoyed my time!

Some good plot twists!

Would love to see the chemistry between the two main characters build in book 2!

A captivating debut novel that doesn’t shy away from the violence and grief that comes with entering a world filled with blood-thirsty vampires.

This novel was a bit darker than I anticipated, but in a good way. I appreciated how we got to see our FMC struggle with her new identity, how it affected her and her loved ones, and how we got to see her grow and become stronger throughout the story.

I’d definitely like to see the chemistry build between certain characters, as they have a great foundation right now.

I think that this series is going to go in directions that we can’t predict, based on the plot twists towards the end of this novel. I look forward to seeing where the author takes us next.

Absolutely loved this book!

A moody small town vampire romance with an Irish vampire hunting sibling duo and an aristocratic vampire that has a personality + sensibility that reminded me of Elijah in The Originals.

It creates that atmosphere of a rainy town so spectacularly and is the perfect book to start Autumn with!

There’s elements of lingering romance and pining. Blending a world of vampires and magic, lot’s of twists and turns. I’m so excited to see what happens in book 2 of the series!

Would highly recommend if you enjoyed The Vampire Diaries, The originals and Twilight (new moon specifically)
