Hearts on Deck 💗
This gave me all the feels, and had me smiling and laughing. Sevyn and Kasen gave that easygoing, sweet and authentic connection and I was with them from start to finish. Hearts on deck brought out that fuzzy feeling that makes me love reading (from a mood reader 😋)

I really enjoyed this story! Kasen & Sevyn had a smooth, soft, and affirming kind of love story. I loved that even though they were opposites, neither person tried to change the other or make them feel bad about their differences. They embraced those differences, and that balance worked so well for their relationship. Their banter was sweet, funny, and sometimes tender.
One of the highlights for me was the amount of vulnerability between them. With Kasen being a 28-year-old virgin, I could easily see that storyline going left, but it was handled with such realistic care and tenderness. From the gentle ribbing of his friends to Sevyn’s affirmations and willingness to teach, I really appreciated how his inexperience was treated.
I enjoyed the side relationships as well. I read this out of order, but Kash had me DYING every time he was on the page, so I need to go back to his book straight away. 😂 I also admired Kasen’s relationships with Serenity & Kori and the maturity of the friendship between Sevyn and Kasey.
In terms of writing style, the author uses descriptive imagery that at times gives the story a poetic feel. However, there were also points where the author relied heavily on repetitive rhetorical questions and sentence fragments, particularly the repeated “And…?” constructions (“And the craziest part?” “And the best thing?” etc.). While this created a conversational, almost teasing narrative voice, the repetition became noticeable to me after a while. The editing could have also used some tightening.
Despite that, this was a beautiful love story about how timing really is everything and how the person who’s meant for you will love all of you…even your chaos.

The cutest topsy turvy!
This was refreshing. Normally, it's the girl who is inexperienced in certain aspects of adulting, but this time around it was the guy. I'm glad Sevyn didn't take that role for granted and gave Kasen the grace, patience and respect he deserved in those moments that demanded understanding. I love a easy love.
The dynamic between Sevyn, Troy & Kasey was crazy. Kasen was in the middle by default. He handled it as best he could, same as Sevyn & Kasey. Troy was spreading it far and wide and had the nerve to be petty when Sevyn moved on. He should've gotten more action at that baby shower for real.
Wolf & Kash had Kasen's back for real. They truly wanted the best for him and were really protective over him. Real brotherhood. Steph was solid for Sevyn and Sevyn & Kasey's relationship developed nicely.
Will Wolf, Ares or Arrow get a story?

That’s A Good Man!!!
One messy dynamic lol
There’s nothing wrong with a man being pure
Kasen wasn’t your average but far from weak. He’s a calculated man that analyzes everything in my opinion. However, it works for him.
Sevyn energy was a vibe. She didn’t allow herself to carry negativity long.
My girl didn’t deserve the way Troy treated her. Troy actions made him weak once Sevyn moved on.
Kasen friends had his back at all times. If he was rocking, they rolling.
It was the Batman bike for me.
Though this was different from what I normally read from the author, I did enjoy it. Kasen was the man of every woman dream. The mental and emotional connection between the MMC & FMC was beautifully written. Example of pure love. Look forward to see what’s next.

Oh, this was good! It was sweet. It was a slow burn, but you could totally see how they got to the love in this book. I loved how Kasen - Mr. Batman - was the inexperienced one of the two. Sevyn loved him DOWN. It’s almost felt like she loved him first and I really really really loved that. So many times we see men falling all over the women, it felt good to see it the other way around.
I stopped reading this author because a few books I read contained heavy AI editing, none of that was present in this book. I really need to go back through her catalog and find the higher rated books to read. This was such a good refresher, and if this is the heat this author is bringing - I’m a stick beside her!

Kasen. Czar. Reed…the nerdy HNIC! Amazing step daddy. Sevyn Amore is a boss lady in her own right! Owns a Pilates studio and takes the best care of her daughter. Sevyn, much like Kasen, is very intentional with all that she does and takes a vested interest in Kasen’s hobbies. This book includes some sexy cosplay, a virgin MMC that’s a quick learner in pleasing his woman and….BABIES! lol. This is one of the best virgin MMC books I’ve read. One of the things I look forward to the most in a Sunshines book is the babies, she usually graces us with. I loved seeing other characters from Highville books in this one. Highville is definitely a place I enjoy being.

Definitely loved this... Sevyn and Kasen are super cute. I love their extrovert and introvert relationship.... it just makes them that much more cute. The studio talks were my favorite or Kasen talking to her through any security system. Kasen is definitely laid back but make no mistake he doesn't play about Sevyn and Serenity. Now I probably would have let my man beat up my baby daddy a long time ago if he was anything like Troy. I love the cameo of Haze, Hazel, Angel and Kash. I really think those crazy brothers should get a book. I think it will be funny but interesting. Can't wait for part 4..

Thank you Sunshine for this ARC copy for an honest review. This was such a cute read! Sevyn Armor is a single mom opening a pilates studio and Kasen Reed's company is hired to install her security. He's built but shy and she draws him out of his shell. Enter trifling baby daddy Troy who sees his baby mama moving on.
Their story is so sweet. We see a few character cameos from other books who are hilarious. Sunshine is just one of those authors you can count on for a good story and this one is no different.

This novel had me in my feelings…
When I say I had to clutch my pearls in the BEST way, I had to. Sunshine you did your thing and brought this masterpiece to life! So unique in every aspect that there is not enough space for me to go through all the ways! From Kash and Wolf being clowns and an MMC that played no games when it came to his boo and bonus daughter, this was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Way to go; keep doing a fab job! This novel was 10/10

Young Love is Beautiful
Batman and his Pilates Princess kept me engaged. To see a woman be soft with this man and vice versa just made my heart swoon. But don’t get it twisted he ain’t no hoe either. And she stands by her man as well. And when he tells her his secret she loves on her even more. This is a must read.

I love this. It was super cute and light hearted. Extrovert fmc and introvert mmc. Who is also a nerdy virgin. I enjoyed their relationship. I will say I disliked ol boy becoming a bitter bd but that was the only drama. I didn’t read this in order but I don’t feel like I missed out. I would recommend.

Loving this series!
I loved this story. The build up of the relationship. The way the character’s relationship unfolded wasn’t too dragged out but slow enough to make it interesting. I love the inclusion of the characters from the other books too. It made the story comedic
