BBW city girl + bear shifter cowboy + a mail-order bride company = one Wild West romance that's truly WILD!

Carla Jenkins has lived in New York City all her life, but her thirtieth birthday is approaching and she's still single. She decides that it's time to turn over a new leaf, and what better way to do so than by signing up to be a mail-order bride with Ranch Romeos?

Diego Ramirez is a bear shifter and ranch owner who needs a wife to help him defend his territory against the Sullivan wolf pack. But from the moment he sets eyes on Carla, he knows that she's more than his wife-to-be… she's his mate!

Their attraction is undeniable, but she doesn't know if she's ready to give her heart to a bear. Can Diego convince Carla that the West is the place for her before the wolf shifters run both of them off the land?

This is a hard riding, boots knocking, standalone BBW bear shifter romance. No cliffhangers!

This was a sweet, short shifter book. I like the mail order bride troupe, especially if it is contemporary. This was running at 4 stars up until I did not love something the heroine did so I had to pull it back (nothing horrible, just did something stupid). But it was still a sweet read. These short books just do not have enough content to really develop the characters so I find it hard to totally connect. But for a free (via KU), quick shifter read, I enjoyed it.

The Bears bride

In order to keep his ranch Diego Ramires needs a mate, so he turns to Ranch Romeo’s for help. Clara is unhappy being single and ignored, because of her curves. She has lived in the big city all her life and wants a change. She signs up to be a mail order bride. Off to Nevada she goes.
Will this be all she is hoping for? Will she accept Diego’s bear? I enjoyed reading this story and give it 5 stars.

Confused city girl moved to find love

The story was ok. something was missing for me to give it 5 stars. The woman clearly had issues with making decisions. A bear saves her and all the sudden he is her everything. Maybe there needed to be more about them dating and more about what she discovered about the area. The name of the mail order bride service is funny.

The woman is annoying...

She got upset because he got up early to work instead of cuddling...ick. What a whiny, needy woman. Didn't read anymore after that fiasco.

Another great series Bear West of Ranch Romeos, and I feel that there should be more books as some characters haven’t even met their mates yet

This started out really good. I was enjoying it. It was hot and it was sorta love and first sight for both. Carla happens to sign up for a Mail Order Bride and meets Diego and agrees to come and marry him. Once he sees her he realizes she’s his true mate. She is totally drawn to him as well but her being human she doesn’t know anything. They get to know one another a bit more on the long ride home after he she lands. Chemistry is so big between them that the first night they make love. This is where my opinion on Carla’s character kinda goes down in flames. Diego being a nice guy decides to let her sleep and goes to get some things done on his farm. Ok yeah he should have let her know how things work or left a note. He’s never had to answer to anyone so giving him the benefit of the doubt would have been nice. Oh no she gets so pissed at him and gets cold feet and decides to leave and live in a hotel and date! Wha? Seriously she knows it’s a farm and he needs to get up early to work it. Common sense you’d think. So, once again being a great guy Diego lets her live in the hotel to get to know her more and slow down. Does as she wishes. Then she regrets that she flipped out and decides BOOM lets get married. Before she can tell him all hell breaks loose and she gets kidnapped by those pesky wolf shifters. After THAT conflict she is SO ok with him being a bear shifter. Doesn’t blink an eye. Thought she’d freak a little but nope. Not my favorite character a little too wishy washy. Diego is awesome. Great guy. I liked the story but I think the female lead conflict was off and blown out of proportion considering she signed up for MOB but then says hey lets date. LOL. Whatever.

City girl meets country boy.

Tired of living a life in the dismal city and always dreaming of a home with room to move, Carla agrees to be a mail order bride. Diago is a country boy with a bear of a secret. After a few email they agree to marry and Carla moves west to the wide open plains. There she has all the room she's ever dreamed of. After a steamy night in bed Carla wakes up alone. Not happy with this she tells Diago that she wants to stay in town until they know each other better. Although it hurts him to no end he agrees with Carla and they start a courtship.

Mean while Diago has problems of his own, the local wolf pack, with keeping his ranch. The wolves want him gone, and he's not leaving, so the go after Carla, his mate. What happens when Carla has her first run in with shifter, she never knew existed? Can Diago save her in time? What will happen when she finds out he's a grizzly bear shifter? You'll have to read to find out.

Although I loved this story, in all honesty I can only give it the three star rating because of the editing problems through out. Wrong words or sentence structure. Whom ever proof read this did a lousy job and it takes away from the enjoyment of reading it. If not for this I would definitely give this story a 4.5 star rating.

City Girl and Country Boy

Living in the city is not all is it is cracked up to be. Alone and loney ecking out a living as waitress and feeling like you never have belonged. Dreaming of wide open space, a house, husband, family and a really big dog...will I ever have my happy ever after?

Always moving and never have a place to call home. Being different and never having true long term friends. My dream of having a permanent place called home with wide open spaces, a wife and family to make me feel loved. My parents loved me but the followed the growing season moving from area to area that was okay for them but I needed more. My mate were could I find her? Tired of a date here or a date there I needed the one that was meant for me.

Ranch Romeos here I come. Would they be able to find my mate? Sign me and and wait. Destiny is a flight away.

This book was a sweet but short love story. If you need a quick read then you will not be disappointed.

Ahhh, sweet romance !! Carla is tired of NYC and needs someone to care for, someone to care about her. The cold, crowded city has no appeal. So when she sees an add for a mail order bride for a cowboy, she takes the chance. Diego hasn't found his mate and is all alone. He's come so far with his ranch, and his life, but the elusive "love" has yet to be. Diego then gambles on the mail order bride, too. They email and get to know each other. His dilemma will be how to explain to his bride to be that he's a bear. They meet, are attracted immediately, bad guys try to ruin everything, but Diego's bear saves his sweet mate. Deep characters, and an interesting plot, plus hot sex make this worthwhile. ENJOY !!!

They were meant to be....

Diego and Carla are two lonely individuals who decide that they should sign up for a mail order bride service so that they no longer have to be alone. Little did they know that this unconventional decision would lead each to their fated mate and that they would be so beautiful together.

As with all of Zoe Chant's book, I really enjoyed reading this story, and I was glad to see Diego and Carla get their HEA.

The Grisly Soul mate

Loved this book. I loved how he knew she was his right from the start. And I also liked how he was able to sense when she was in trouble. I just like how the story was written. Would recommend this book to anyone who reads these types of books, (shifter romance).
