Amber Preston was stupid. Totally. Incredibly. Unbelievably stupid. She thought Nico Moretti cared for her when he took her to his bed, but she was just another notch on his post.
The millionaire playboy from Italy had dozens of those notches – she had known that already. After her, there’d be dozens more. One right after the other.
She wants to tell him to go screw himself. She wants to forget him. She wants to lick her wounds and move on.
There is only one little problem… Nico Moretti isn’t only unforgettable, he is one of her company’s biggest clients.

3.5 stars
This book can be read as a standalone separate from Wanted. It picks up a little bit after Wanted ends. Much like the first one, this is a quick and light read.
Amber doesn't believe love exists. After the way her father treated her mother, she believes that all men are the same and not worth her time.
Nico Moretti wants to redecorate his place. He hires Amber to get the job done. Taking their client relationship a bit too far one night, changes everything. When Amber assigns another designer to finish the job, Nico comes knocking. When Amber refuses, Nico has one last request. Can she do it without getting hurt?
I know in Novellas, relationships are often quick, but I didn't get the impression that Amber and Nico spent too much time together. I mean, one night a few months ago and then one family filled weekend together and they're secretly in love with each other?? I missed something, somewhere.
Generally, when a series like this continues from one book to the next, the characters personalities remain the same. This book portrayed Amber as more subdued than the first. The first gave the impression that she was in a relationship and was more outgoing.
Also, what drove me crazy throughtout this book was the way Beth and Amber referred to each other. Beth was always referring to Amber as "hon" and Amber referred to Beth as "B" most of the time. These were not in the first book and it threw me because when I read this second book, it felt almost as if Amber and Beth were two different characters than the first book.
I liked it, I really did, I liked it just as much as the first book. And I'm pretty sure that I'll like the third one too! But sometimes Amber seemed a bit naïve. I didn't like that at all, but then again Nico didn't seem all that smart about love either. They were both in love from almost the beginning and then it still takes 99 pages for them to find out that they are in lover. A bit late, but not too late. I liked it!!
- Characters Amber: Was a bit naïve, but it didn't bother me too much. So that's a good think, I loved her friendship with Nico's sister, and the first female leading character from the first book! Nico: Was a rough, but polished guy that I lo-lo-lo-loved. I really did, although he wasn't all that smart about love, it still was a cutie. (If you can say that about a grown man.)
- Storyline I liked the story, although I already read a few books like this one. In a fake-meet-the-family kind of way. It was good, but not all that special. But in some way Demelza Watts made this plain story in something special, by making his family special and of course were Amber and Nico very hot together too!
- Title The second title fits really well, fit the first and third, so it was good. I still think (just like with the first book) that they could've came up with a better one!
- Cover When I pictured Nico, I didn't picture a guy like on the cover, at all. Amber could've fit the girl though. But I have to say that I liked the black and white concept.
I would give this book 3 stars, because I know the third one is even better, because yes, I already read that one too!
Amber and Nico are an awesome book couple. Amber is living in London, working as an up and coming, brilliant interior designer. Amber is working for Nico, an Italian businessman she is having a hard time thinking about strictly as business. Nico, a notorious playboy, finds himself smitten with Amber as well.
Having given in to their attraction, Amber pulls away, mad at her stupidity for sleeping with the playboy, but also their firms best client. Switching his account to another designer, Amber tries to distance herself from Nico. Having watched her mother time and time again forgive her father for his numerous transgressions, Amber has no desire to be burned by the likes of Nico. Nico on the other hand can't let the best designer go so easily.
I don't want to give too much away. But you will love meeting Nico's family when he convinces Amber to pretend to be his girlfriend during a celebration of his mom's birthday. Here us where we meet Mia, Nico's sister, who becomes fast friends with Amber. They develop a bond deeply and I loved that part.
Soon, these two can't fight their sexual attraction but Amber still fearful of her upbringing emotional scars left by her parents, can't trust.
You will love this romance and. Quickly be reaching for part 3, just like I am! Great read.
Yes Demelza Eatts I really like Cherished!! If you have read book one you will see a few of the characters cross over but it is not a necessity to have read one to get the story line in book 2. Amber has been hired to decorate Nico (a playboy billionaire) home and while everything goes good at first... signs of attraction between the two cause her to draw away and give the account to someone else in the firm. She doesn't believe in love because of her family life growing up and has not intention of getting caught in his "snare".
BUT Nico has a plan.... he needs a pretend girlfriend and what better person than Amber. I love this because it helps us see them both in their playfullness, romantic side and we also get to meet Mia, Nico's sister who I have a feeling will be a the next book. This book was gifted to me for a review.
I was gifted the Love In London series in return for an honest review.
Good start for book 2. Its at a faster pace and i couldn't put my kindle down! The pull and push between the 2 was great .. yes i love him, no I've got to shut heart out but he seems to care, no he ain't for relationships .. im a sucker for these. I think Amber is more beautiful than Nico is handsome but Amber is too trusting & naive. I think its really too soon to determine one can be a bestie within 24hrs of meeting and i felt it was way too soon for Amber to fill Mia in on the pretense.. aw well just what i felt l. In real life its not like that. I enjoyed the book immersely, better than book 1 which in my opinion was a little too slow, though sweet nonetheless.

I love amber and Nico . Abner is a strong willed and being an interior designer that's good, but will she stay strong again Nico a playboy at best but he knows how to push her buttons, but when does somthing stupid can she protect what her heart wants. I loved this book. Nico and Amber are awesome. we have yet again a great story, with great characters. Definitely a must read.
Decent story. Predictable to the point I was rolling my eyes, but a few of the characters made it worthwhile. I really like Beth, from book 1, and she is back. I also really like Mia, Nico's sister. Short read and typical if you read the description, but still fairly decent. Writing style is easy to read and story is fast paced due to its length.
I loved amber and nico's story! The miscommunication and angst was just the right amount. I am so happy they found each other and super happy of their little family!
