Now, keep in mind, you’re going into this knowing it’s a short erotic novella. BUT when I tell you this one might actually top Chokehold for me!
The back-and-forth banter between Logan and Spencer was FREAKIN’ PERFECTION. From the very beginning, these two had me absolutely hooked, and I was eating up every single interaction.
Obviously, this is a short read (or listen!), so I don’t want to give too much away, but let me set the scene a little.
Logan has one rule: One night. No repeats. Simple enough, right? After their night together, he figures he’ll never see Spencer again.
Little does he know, when he goes looking to release some pent-up energy, none other than Spencer ends up being his trainer. And from the moment these two cross paths again?! THE BANTER. THE TENSION. THE CHEMISTRY. I WAS LIVING FOR IT.
And Spencer?! WHEW. YES, PLEASE. 👏🔥

After Chokehold (which I highly recommend reading first if you haven’t already!), I was excited to jump into the next novella, and once again, Atlas Quinn and Lauren Beck absolutely DELIVERED on the audiobook. These two narrators are becoming a dangerous combination for my TBR. 👀😮💨
This time, we follow Spencer and Logan, and let me tell you, I was LIVING for their dynamic. The banter? The attitude? The way these two keep insisting they don’t do relationships while clearly being unable to get enough of each other? 😂 Sir and ma’am, who are you trying to convince?!
I also LOVED that they’re both switches! It brought such a fun dynamic to their chemistry, and I really enjoyed seeing how that played into their interactions. Neither of them is willing to simply fall into the other’s hands without a little back and forth, and it made the whole thing even better.
The chemistry was 🔥, the spice delivered. For a short novella, it gave me exactly what I wanted. My only complaint? I NEED MORE OF THESE TWO. That ending has me wanting their story immediately!

If you’ve read or listened to “Chokehold” (and I highly recommend you do if you haven’t yet), then you’ll quickly recognize our FMC, Spencer, as the fierce, feisty redhead who drags her best friend Lyla to Club Chokehold for a wild night. She sets her sights on Logan, our grumpy, dominant Mr. “I don’t do repeats” MMC. He takes a whole lotta interest in Spencer (as he should!), and the two share one helluva night that neither of them can quite forget, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise. That is.. until they meet again six months later.
First of all, I HAVE to talk about the writing and storytelling. Addie basically said, “All gas, no brakes, right off the bat,” and pretty much ran with it because holy. shit. The way I was blushing and giggling just a few minutes into Chapter One? You best believe I stayed that way as I worked my way through the audiobook. Tension? Insane. Spice? Fucking diabolical.
Another element I thoroughly enjoyed was the verbal sparring between Spencer and Logan. Addie armed these two with the most perfect, sassy, cocky retorts, and their banter gave them so much personality. I truly ate them all up!
Lauren Beck plays Spencer, and oh my word, this QUEEN! Spencer is feisty and sassy, takes no shit from any man, and most definitely knows what she wants. Lauren’s performance made it so easy for me to root for her, and she got me hootin’ and hollerin’ for our lovely FMC. But along with that tenacity, there’s also a hint of vulnerability as Spencer navigates the palpable tension and chemistry between her and Logan, and Lauren delivered every bit of it flawlessly. What a badass boss lady played by a badass narrator! I’m just in total awe.
Atlas’ audiobook narration era has me in a complete chokehold (heh, see what I did there?) as it is. Did I really need him to play a grumpy, sarcastic, and condescending dom for two hours straight? Absofuckinglutely.
There’s no denying that Logan is kind of a dickhead. But, as most characters do, he contains multitudes. He shows his softer side in various moments throughout the story, albeit briefly, but it’s there. And despite his strong need to dominate, when it comes to Spencer, he doesn’t shy away from folding. Atlas portrayed all of that and so much more incredibly well, which is a testament to his wicked talent.
I was asked mid-listen how it was going so far, and I said, “It’s like crack. Everyone just popped off.” I meant every word.

Silk Seduction is the second novella in Addie Renee's Series of Erotic One Night Stands. I listened to the Duet Narrated audiobook, narrated by Lauren Beck and Atlas Quinn, who also did the narration for the first novella, Chokehold. This is the story of Spencer (readers will remember her as the friend who dragged Lyla to the BDSM club in the first story of this series), and her hook-up, Logan. The audiobook is just over 2 hours long and a high spice experience that sets up a full length novel for the duo.
The story itself is cute although the basics are slightly predictable. They meet, they hook up, they part, then somehow meet again. The biggest thing that stood out to me with this novella was the attention to detail that the author included. I truly believed that I could feel what the characters were experiencing based on the wording, which I don't always find, especially in a shorter story. The characters, I have mixed feelings about. I very much enjoyed Spencer's feisty and sassy personality, but Logan is kind of a dick. I'll be interested to see how their situation evolves in the future.
The narration was excellent. Lauren Beck's voice was able to make me believe what I was listening to, and the fact that she voiced the FMC in the previous book as well made the interaction between Lyla and Spencer really entertaining. Atlas Quinn's spicy time voice really made me feel things. There's something about that gruff rumble that he does, it's basically verbal catnip.
I'll be honest, I went into Silk Seduction expecting a similar style story to book 1, and boy was I wrong. The characters, the spice, the plot, all very different, but not at all disappointing. I did not expect the story to end in a cliffhanger, which it does. The fact that I immediately needed to contact the authors team and express my simultaneous admiration and annoyance, is a great example of how much this book sucked me into its story and absolutely left me not only wanting, but needing more. As I said before, my only real complaint is that I didn't enjoy the MMC's personality outside of his spicy interactions. That being said, I have every confidence in the authors ability to make me like him in the future.

This was such a fun, sexy little introduction to these two! I’m really glad they’re getting a full-length novel because I think these characters have SO much potential. I’m excited to actually see them get the time to know each other, build some real tension, and develop their relationship. I'm definitely looking forward to that one!
I wasn’t a huge fan of the whole “you’re mine” situation, mostly because these two literally knew nothing about each other yet. It just didn’t make much sense to me at that point in their relationship. That said, I think it felt more like a personality quirk for Logan than the author trying to force them into a romance that didn’t exist yet, so it didn’t bother me quite as much as it could have.
I LOVED how sassy and badass Spencer was, though. The way she could make that man fold?? 🤭 SO HOT. I will always love watching a woman put a man in his place 💀 And Spencer as a girl’s name?? LOVE IT.
I also really appreciated that Spencer stood her ground about it just being sex, instead of the author trying to convince the reader that they just miraculously fell in love after having slept together. It made me even more excited to see what happens when they actually get the chance to build something together.

Received an ALC of this masterpiece. The chemistry. The banter. The spice. I wasn’t even 5 minutes into the book and I was thinking “Gahhhhleee.” 🥵😮💨. It is a quick listen but I feel like the story is full and not missing things like novellas often do.
Lauren Beck and Atlas Quinn absolutely nailed the narration!! The way Lauren DELIVERED when it came to the sassy queen that is Spencer..BIG PURR!! And Logan PMO sometimes throughout the book but he is a sub man so I guess it’s ok. Atlas Quinn made it ok. I don’t even like men irl but kept finding myself saying “Hells yeah.” That man can growl at me any day. 🤷🏾♀️

My jaw was on the floor within the first 7 minutes of chapter 1. And I believe it stayed there through the whole book.
This is the story of Spencer and Logan. Spencer should sound familiar to readers of the pervious book. As she is the friend who dragged Lyla to Chokehold. Spencer is a bold, confident women who is not afraid to go after what she wants, and she wants Logan.
Logan is a cocky, dominate man who submits to no one. Well no one till Spencer comes along. Logan has definitely met his match with Spencer. She pushes and challenges him with her banter but also the bratty behavior and Logan can't get enough.
After running into each other 6 months after their supposedly only one night together, things heat up. The banter gets even better, the flirting intensifies, and boy oh boy is the spice off the charts. The last scene in the workout class with the silks, is probably one of the hottest scenes I've heard in a book.
Give Silk Seduction a shot, you will not be disappointed.

This was my first Addie Renee read and I absolutely LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDD it!!! I loved the banter between Logan and Spencer with their verbal sparring was fun to read. Spencer is feisty, sassy and takes no crap! I loved her character since I saw a lot of myself in her. Logan is a real dick but once he started to show his softer side his character grew on me. I absolutely loved this quick and easy read and cannot wait to reread it after I read Chokehold.

4.5⭐️ Okay this was a quick little spicy listen and I had FUN! 😂🔥 Spencer and Logan meet at a sex club, have an anonymous masked encounter, and then six months later discover they're about to spend a lot more time together when Logan accidentally ends up with Spencer as his trainer. The push and pull between these two was so good, especially Logan's whole “I don't do seconds” rule turning into “well… maybe I'll make an exception for you.” 👀😂 The duet narration was fantastic too! Lauren Beck and Atlas Quinn were both new-to-me narrators and I really enjoyed them. My only complaint was THAT ENDING. I was sitting there like NOOOO, THAT'S IT?! 😭 Thankfully, the announcement that Spencer and Logan are getting a full-length book immediately calmed me down because YES PLEASE, I need more of these two! 😂

Addie Renee has done it again! Silk Seduction is a super-quick but super-hot read. I knew it was going to be a good read/listen, but it definitely exceeded all expectations. You need to add Silk Seduction to your TBR if you enjoy strong chemistry, lots of tension, steam, and characters that will keep you invested. I can't wait for what comes next!

I listened to the audio and let me just say: Oooh… my… gaaawd… This audiobook puts the “aaauuuh” in spicy audios!! The story starts off strong during the initial interaction between the two main characters. It sets a perfect level of intensity, leading to an unrelenting pace throughout the story. Best of all, the audio performances by both VAs left me absolutely speechless!! Let’s just say, this listener was definitely blushing several shades of crimson!

This is book 2 in the series of erotic one night stands. If you haven’t listened to the first book, Chokehold, then I highly recommend checking that out as well. These are all interconnected stand alones so you don’t have to read in order. This is a 5 ⭐️ read 4 🌶️ and I think @Addie Renee Author outdid herself with this one! Our FMC is a feisty red head and our MMC is an grumpy man you can’t help but love bc it’s fun to listen to her crack this man wide open. Go preorder this bad boy and check it out on October 16th because oh man it is a good one!!!

This is the second audiobook in Addie Renee’s erotic novella series, A Series of Erotic One Night Stands. Although this is a short listen (2 hrs 9 min), it packs a punch, believe me! As the title of the series implies, this story centers around what was supposed to be a one night stand between Logan and Spencer. And that’s all I’m going to say regarding the plot. Since this is such a short listen, I don’t want to spoil anything for you. I will tell you that I absolutely LOVED these characters, and their banter was so freaking good! As this is an erotic novella, there is no shortage of spice—like, the spiciest spice. But if you thought there would be no accompanying plot, you would be sadly mistaken. And the duet-style narration from Lauren Beck and Atlas Quinn brought this story to life brilliantly! Their nuanced and authentic performances played a big role in why I loved this couple and this story so much. I seriously wanted more of Logan and Spencer! And according to the author, we may actually see more of them in their own full-length novel. And to that I say… Yes, please!

This was such a quick, spicy listen, and I really enjoyed it! Addie Renee managed to pack in plenty of spice, some great banter, and just enough story to make me want more. I loved Spencer and her smart mouth, especially when she was giving Logan a hard time because he could definitely be a bit of a jerk. Their chemistry was great, and I really enjoyed the push and pull between them. The duet narration by Lauren and Atlas was fantastic! They're new voices for me and I really enjoyed their performances. Both voices suited the characters well; Atlas's gruff delivery was especially good during the spicy scenes. And Lauren did such a great job bringing out Spencer's sassy, confident personality; I loved the attitude she put into her delivery. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens with these two in their full-length book.

If you’re looking for a quick & spicy read (or listen!!) then Silk Seduction is IT. Narrated in Duet by Lauren Beck & Atlas Quinn, this book will take you through the event of an erotic one night stand in a spicy club. The banter between the MCs, Logan & Spencer was top notch. & honestly, tho this definitely brought the spice, it wasn’t JUST that. There was plot fit into the short 2 hour novella. Their chemistry was there & it made me want to hear the rest of their story! Addie Renee knocked it out of the park with this one!

I absolutely LOVE the characters- if you've read chokehold you will be familiar with spencer, the now FMC. She is a powerhouse and I love her. I HATED logan, but in the absolute best way. Addie wrote him beautifully and I was hooked by their dynamic. As is the theme with this series, it is spicy AF. Extremely steamy and kinky and written so, so well.
I love addies style of writing and this book had me sending VERY yelly messages to her (don't worry it's a good thing XD
