This is Travis Luedke's forth stop in his incredible space opera. Angel 6.0: Pursuit and the stakes are higher and freedom so much further away for Angel. But more than anything she just wants to be back in the arms of Cesar, but nothing happens the way we want it to, especially if the Gran are involved.
These damn cat creatures have been nothing but a nightmare for Angel and she is completely at their mercy. She is still in the Captain's control and wants nothing to do with him. But what Angel is willing to risk could ultimate be her death. That may be preferred at some point. She doesn't want to continue to go along with the Captain, but the Captain isn't willing to budge on the issue. He wants to keep her regardless of the cost.
Oh, Angel will have her say in it, even if it is to protect the Emperor's son. It is a risk she is willing to take and maybe one day, she will eventually end up in the arms of the man she loves. Of course Travis Luedke wouldn't make it that simple. Where's the adventure in that?
Another time and in another space, Angel is struggling with so much more. She is not just the Captain's concubine. She is now in the eyes of the Emperor's son and her heart is with a pirate...
Travis once again spins everything out of control in space and just makes getting to the destination so much trouble. But it is worth the painstaking journey. The not knowing has its advantages... but it keeps me on the edge of my seat wanting more.
Travis takes his crazy alien cats and shows two very different sides to them. There is the evil that we see in the Captain and the hope we see with the Emperor and his family. But the one place we hope Angel ends up in is the furthest place in the spaces, in the arms of a pirate. This is a tangled web of the imagination and I am hopelessly captivated by each new episode!

Holy Fucking Batman!! Did ALL that just happen? Of course it did. I didn't know whether to let my guard down and breathe a sigh of relief or be on guard because happy feelings in Travis' worlds are never long-lasting. I'm freakin' ecstatic over the fact that Angel got that damn collar off her neck!! Yay!! *Happy dance* Sorry, little spoiler. Crazy ass shit popped off in this installment of Angel 6.0, (#4). One, being a crazy Cat drug-induced rape scene, that was actually played out quite well. I know that sounds off, but it worked. Two, a certain Cat got his comeuppance. And last but not least, Angel got her freedom. Which by the way, brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't believe it. It was an unexpected sweet moment. A defining moment, in fact. She is now a Princess to Prince Rollick. That whole situation is a crazy one. I can't forget about Chilla!! I love her. I'd have thought she'd turn into a bitch but was actually quite understanding in the whole Angel-Rollick situation. Then again, Angel, is the one to start this Concubine mixing with Royalty...thing that is going on that's making other Cats feel uncomfortable & the fact she's now a Princess & a HUMAN, they don't like that. I mean after reading a glimpse into the next book, it's obvious tension is running rampant among the Cats towards Angel. Overall, I felt feelings while reading this book that was unexpected. I like that though. There's a realness to this fantasy. Angel gets many of her secrets revealed and while some people couldn't handle the truth right away, it was resolved but not really when war is knocking on your front door to your happily ever after.

Another fast and furious episode in the story of Angel.

Just as you think things are finally coming right for her...there's another unexpected twist in the tale.

The writing,as ever, is crisp and to the point....it keeps the story rattling along at a good pace, thus setting you up for another intake of breath and a muttered..."well, I didn't see that coming"!

No plot spoilers from me but the themes in this story are loyalty, betrayal and the question...how far would you go to protect someone you love?

This was another great entry in the life of a girl who cannot seem to catch a break no matter what her situation. The story continues to build on itself bringing more and more complexity to the characters and to the world that they are living in. The tone can be fun and light at times making you laugh or just smile,it can then become dark, or very very hot. I like the way it flows from situation to situation with surprises laid out as things progress.

Angel is less than thrilled to be returning to Gran space, though she is happy to see her royal friends on her return. What she finds is that in the short time she has been away Prince Rollick has grown and is moving out of his adolescence, and has decided that he wants Angel as more than a friend. She has decided to play matchmaker for two people who she is fond of and would like to see happy. But this is Angel and no matter what she does the universe seems to be against her ever finding a moment of happiness.

I have said it before and will say it again, this is a really great series! I love the fact that the characters continue to evolve both emotionally and intellectually. The heat level is high but does not interfere with the story and keeps me wanting more. I want to know what happens to Angel because I have come to really her, she feels what every woman feels over their lives at one point or another, that they are to different to be loved or nothing more than a freak. I am looking forward to the next installment!!

Angel 6.0 Pursuit Episode IV by Travis Luedke

Once Cesar returns he approaches Captain Cronin for the purchase of Angel and is refused and told that she is to go again to the Emperor. This time the young prince is older and begins to realize his desire for Angel. She is caught in the cats’ claws and begins to wonder if she will ever escape. Enemies of the crown place Angel and the Prince in jeopardy when they expose them to the dangerous drug used by Captain Cronin and the Prince turns his desires to Angel. She is desired by many and wants only to find her life with Cesar. A battle to the death brings the Prince’s life almost forfeit and Angel stands and fights for her friend. Is Angel ever going to be able to find peace and love that she wants or will she always be a prisoner of the cats. Once Cesar sees that she is more than human will he even want her? Life is not easy for Angel 6.0. The sexual tension between her and Cesar has built and yet when her past is exposed he pulls back. How much internal pain can Angel take? Read this latest adventure and find out what will happen between Angel and the prince. Will she ever escape the Captain and can Cesar see beyond his bias? Only reading this one will answer your questions. Each part of this story gets better and better.

Life does not like our Angel at all. From one mess straight into the next, still fighting for her survival and freedom. Getting seperated again from her human lover, she endures another trip back to the Gran's palace with Chilla whilst servicing Cronin needs. Once back she realizes the Rollick she's left has morphed into an adult male Gran who wants her in ways she would not be able to satisfy.

Unfortunately just when things start to settle, an attack on her life and the Prince shows there is still much distrust, even more so when Cesar shows up in Gran territory and a fight ensues to determine who'll own her.

The pace of this book started out slow and i thought it was going to be another slow read, but midway it just went balls out and everything just seemed to happen at once. Once again Travis shows his mastery in taking his readers for a journey, because i felt i was there watching Angel give it and endure. This is a great addition to the series and with a cliffhanger ending like this one, i just know the final story is going to throw a lot of surprises and be epic.

In true Travis fashion, we pick right back up with Angel and her adventures with the Gran and make some stunning revelations. Angel is pushed to her limits yet again, and as ever shows how truly strong and remarkable she is. This journey is just as fast-paced and full of heightened emotions as all the others in the series...and as the collar around her throat is brought into light, changes develop that will change her life even more than she hoped for.

I love Angel's journey so far and can't wait to see what happens next with Angel and her time with the Gran!...My FYI.....you might be a little lost if you don't start at the beginning....but each book stands somewhat alone in a way but you would miss the big picture if you skipped books ....they are all well worth the read and totally consuming and addictive....Can't wait till July!! This series is a heart-hammering, panty-melting, 5 star read!!

'Angel 6.0: Pursuit' starts straight where 'Angel 6.0: Enslaved' finished, I strongly suggest you read this series in order & not to miss a single 1. You would be missing out.

My mind is in a haze, I've just finished reading 'Pursuit' & find myself trying to catch up with my brain. Events kept coming at me from all angles, Angel's life got tricker, secrets were told, fights were had, lives were saved... this was so fast paced & action packed compared to the last book of the series. I went in, quickly drawn into Angel's story & felt like I'd held my breathe until I'd read the last words, it was so intense! Please universe let Angel have some happiness...

I can't wait to read more of Angel's story, especially after the ending I just read.

Angel6.0 the clone, is as her creator and father says the salvation of the human race. She can fight better then a group of men or Gran an alien race that has bested Earth. This is the 4th of a 5 book series of very hot well written space sex fantasy sci fi. This book has so many ups and downs for poor Angel. She reunited with her love at the end of the last book only to be ripped from his arms at the beginning of this episode, he promises to find her no matter where in the Universe she is. When she returns to the Gran changes have happened even in the short few months she has been gone.

This episode as with the 3 before it will leave you worried for Angel and wanting to read the 5 book as soon as it comes out, I know I will.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Angel is on a mission to find love and happiness. Too bad being a slave to the Gran is interfering with that pipe dream! Cesar is finally confronted with some truths about Angel and her history, at first it seems like he can't handle the truth, but when he realizes that he could lose her once and for all, he steps up to the plate. Rollick on the other hand, knows exactly what he wants and fights for the right to keep Angel for himself. Who will win Angel in the end? Will it be Cesar who she lost her heart to? Or will it be Rollick who believes in her and fights to keep her? Stay tuned!

Travis Luedke has did again and written an exceptional book.

I have loved Angel from the very first book and love how she never gives up hope regardless of how bad her situation looks.

Pursuit picks up where Enslaved ended and I HIGHLY recommend reading these books in order so as not to miss a thing!!

The story is fast paced, well developed and will have you loving Angel for the way she looks at things and keeps hoping even in the most dire of situations. Will Angel ever find her HEA? What is the Prince's interest? Will the Gran get to keep her?

I can't wait for the next book! Thanks for another great book Travis!!

What an excellent continuation of Angels story. You need to read this one and see if she finally gets the forever after she wants with Ceasar or will she continue to be a slave to the Gran. Full of twist and turns this is a must read that will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way until the next book. Travis gets you hooked like a junkie with this paranormal story and keeps you waiting for your next fix.

This episode is by far the best in this saga! It is so exciting in so many ways! That way Angel deals with her forced depravity is simply amazing. The emotional bonds that are tried time after time, makes for an absolute heart wrenching, yet heart warming read!

2.5 stars. As a sci-fi adventure it's not bad at all. As a romance novel it's pretty awful. I don't feel any chemistry between Angel and Cesar, probably because Cesar's character is so underdeveloped. Apart from being Angel's lover there's not much we know about him. So it bothered me what a major role he played in Angel's motivations and lovesick inner monologue. On the other hand Prince Rollick is absolutely endearing, with much better defined characterisation. If I do decide to read the 5th and final instalment of the series he'd be the only reason. We'll see!

I read Angel 6.0: Pursuit, by bestseller author Travis Luedke, in part because I’ve loved his prior series and was eager to find something else by him to sink my teeth into. Angel 6.0: Pursuit is the fourth in the series. It is the story of Angel, a product of illegal experimentation on the human genome who has been claimed/stolen by the Gran, described as a fierce race of giant alien Cats.

“I am Angel 6.0 and this is the dark, wicked, violent tale of my life.”

At the point the story begins, it seems as if everyone in Angel’s life wants something from her, so she is by turns pragmatic and cynical. As a human experiment, Angel does not really belong to any category. Humans find her an abomination and seek to shun her; to the Gran she is a curiosity and her advantage is as breeding stock. Travis has written this heroine as strong, resilient and determined with a personality that made me laugh out loud.

Unfortunately, during the reading of this story I found I don’t like cats. This was strange to me because lizards in a different series didn’t give me pause. This especially made an appearance during the dub-con/rape scenes. Since those types of scenes had never bothered me before, I determined it was the furry thing (but that’s just me).

I enjoyed the writing, but don’t think I would finish the series. I do look forward to more from Travis Luedke.

Forced to play translator between the Gran and humans, Angel is whisked back and forth across the galaxy. She has stolen moments of peace here and there with various people, but her heart lies with Captain Cesar, her pirate lover. There is a very brutal fight over Angel at one point and then she joins the fight. I loved reading this part...someone got what was coming to them for sure. :) I don't want to spoil anything but I loved several parts right near the end of this one. Can't wait to read what happens next.
