What a cute story by Emma Haven! Part of the Cedarville Hockey series and features a hockey playing MMC and a traveler nurse FMC. When Finn returns home from a camping trip to a flooded apartment, he ends up at the same inn as Addie. Thanks to Finn’s dog, who absolutely loves Addie, our MCs meet each other. As Addie is here on a travel RN assignment and plans on leaving when it is over, they keep it on a friend level. But the more time they spend together the more they realize their feelings are becoming deeper.

These two are beyond sweet and caring towards each other. Their romance starts slow and quietly grows into something deep and undeniable. As Addie’s time draws closer to an end, she and Finn must decide their next move. I adored watching these two and their relationship change over time. The quiet moments, the deep conversation, the cute swoony interactions; everything is part of their journey.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

A gentle and fun story about a hockey player and a visiting nurse. They both ended up staying at the same local boarding house. His apartment flooded and he had to temporarily relocate. She was staying while filling in for a nurse on maternity leave. His sweet golden retriever helped them become friends.
A lovely story that never pushed, only kept layering on positive experiences. His hockey career was prominent, but so was her job as a nurse.I like hockey stories, but this was the first one that I genuinely liked everything and everyone involved in hockey. His career wasn't over a glorified. It was all about his personality and kindness extended to everyone. I'm ready to read more by this author!
Say yes to this book for an enjoyable escape from daily life! I'm glad that I did!.

This is such a sweet feel good story. I loved the main characters and how their connection was so easy. It was such a natural chemistry and a touching romance.

Jasper, the Golden Retriever, absolutely stole the show for me with this one. I couldn't get enough of his friendly personality and his adorable antics. I'll never look at socks quite the same way again. Such a little cupid with fur!

This is such a refreshing escape to a sweet romance full of love and laughter. It warmed my heart to read it and left me feeling the love long after I read the final page. I look forward to reading a lot more stories from this author.

Stuck At The Inn With The Hockey Player by Emma Haven was a sweet and cozy romance! I loved the forced-proximity setup and watching the characters slowly get closer while being stuck together at the inn. The hockey-player hero was charming, caring, and easy to fall for, and the chemistry between the couple kept me turning the pages. I especially enjoyed how the Cedarville setting also added a warm, small-town feel that made the book even more inviting. Overall, Stuck At The Inn With The Hockey Player was a fun, heartwarming read that left me smiling!

This was such a cozy and feel-good romance! I loved the slow-burn development between Finn and Addie, and it was honestly refreshing to read a sweet romance without any spice.

But what really stole my heart was the small town community. I fell in love with Finn and Addie, but also Jasper (how can I not), Carol, and pretty much everyone in Cedarville.

If you’re looking for a cozy, lighthearted romance novella with a wonderful small-town community, this one is absolutely perfect! ✨.

This book was so sweet and endearing and completely captivating. I was utterly lost in this story. It’s full of romance and tension and genuine care. Finn and Addie had a chemistry that was beyond words. And their connection was so honest and real. I utterly melted for these two together. Addie and Finn were perfect together, and it was so easy to cheer for them to find happiness. Every interaction built more of the bond they deserved. And we can’t forget about the most adorable wingman there is…Jasper. He’s the most adorable and sweetest boy. He stole my heart and I didn’t want it back.

I found these characters to be so relatable and down to earth that they quickly became some of my favorites. Finn and Addie are two people so unlikely to find each other without the dog but end up finding each other so often it becomes intentional. I loved their ease with each other and the way they invited each other into their routines. This book was a nice, light, easy read with all the charm of a Hallmark movie.

This is the first book by this author that I have read and enjoy how she walks you threw the main character and how they managed to work with everyone. Finn is a very interesting hockey player that everyone seems to get along with and is not too proud of what he can do on the ice, and I love his dog, Jasper. Addie the traveling RN seem to be very good at what she does as well. I love how they both seem to work together, and it is nice that they get along so well together. I can’t wait to see how this relationship works out. If you enjoy very clean romance this is just right for you.

Finn is a hockey player and has just returned from a weekend of camping. He returns to his apartment to find it has flooded and he will have to find other accommodations for several weeks. He meets Addie Harper at the inn; his dog takes an instant liking to her. They go for walks together, get a bite to eat, and their feelings become involved. Addie is a traveling nurse who is in town covering a maternity leave. Soon she will be moving on to another location.

This is a cute sweet story about a small town that acquires a hockey team. The town embraces the team players, especially one in particular named Finn. He moves into the inn when his apartment floods, and meets another temporary boarder named Addie. She is a traveling nurse currently on assignment. This is a clean well written romance.

This was a wonderful romance between a nurse and a hockey player. This also gives the feel of a Hallmark story. A dog that helps bring the two main characters together. If you love a mix of hallmark with a small town romance please read this book.

Great story. A Fun Read. Finn and Addie were cute. Nice ending only wished it was extended into a proposal/wedding. Look forward to future books in the series.
