I read this before the show came out, and was super excited to watch the show after seeing all the trailers and edits!!
I think the book was pretty good. I wasn't connected to the characters until the second half when their emotions got tied into what they were doing. Once that happened, I REALLY ENJOYED IT! I also think I've watched like hours worth of tik tok edits of the show & that may be my favorite part of it all

Teagan muss mit ihrer Mutter, deren Heimatstadt einen Neuanfang beginnen. Sie ist eine begnadete Ruderin, schon von der Elite Uni schon auf dem Radar. Was soll sie nur machen, da es keine Mädchen-Ruder Mannschaft für sie gibt?
Natürlich lässt sie sich davon nicht aufhalten, sprengt alle Grenzen und bringt sich natürlich in den Fokus des beliebtesten und mächtigsten Mitschüler.
Lest selbst, verliert euch in einem emotionalen, aufwühlenden Werk, voller Willensstärke und Mut.
Einer jungen Persönlichkeit, die für ihre Träume kämpft und sich von niemandem aufhalten lässt.
Die Umgebung, die zum Träumen einlädt und nach Academia Setting schreit, bietet eine idyllische Umgebung und eine Vielzahl von Persönlichkeiten. Die mit ihren Makeln, der Liebe zum Sport und dem Eifer hervorstechen.
Ich war sofort von Teagan angetan, ihrem frechen Gemüt, dem schlagfertigen Austausch zwischen der freundlichen, ruhigen Cam und ihrer Gegenwehr gegen den arroganten Teamkapitän Josh.
Zwischen den emotionalen Verstrickungen, dem Ballast sowie den versteckten Ängsten.
Schnell schleichen sich die verschiedenen Persönlichkeiten ins Herz, verstricken sich in ihre Problematik und nehmen ein.
Das Gefühlschaos vorprogrammiert, die Verletzlichkeit im Verborgenen und doch die Anziehung spürbar.
Im Vordergrund aber der eiserne Wille, sich als Frau in der Mannschaft durchzusetzen, ihre Talente zu zeigen und sich zu beweisen.
Ein herrliches Buch, voller Emotionen, seelischem Ballast, die mit der Hoffnung und Sehnsucht auf den Neuanfang gewürzt sind.
Ein köstlicher Einstieg, eine wundervolle Mischung, die mir köstliche Lesestunden bereitet und mich gut unterhalten hat. Mit Neugierde auf mehr zurücklässt.
