UMMMMM what.. that was actually SO intense and heart breaking and delicious I genuinely can't pick one feeling over this one.
Book 2 in the series and boy what a ride. Liath is in the lions den literally fighting for her life and so many others... constant danger of being exposed and sent back to the asylum or worse. Liath is easily becoming a top FMC for me because she does not quit, she fights back and boy is that girl determined as hell to save some of the people she cares about.
Deargan and Lorcan are both making my head swim. One minute I love one, then the next hes the bad guy and vice versa. I will say I feel HARD in this book for Lorcan... underneath all the mean and hateful things he says there is a man who literallllly perfect.... but then again same could be said about Bron. I do love the vengeance that Deargan is out for.
There was some really intense twists and turns, characters that connected eachother and of course the most intense cliff hanger (wouldn't be a Sienna book without one) ... all in all this book was everything 🙌

The way Sienna writes, constantly having me switch between “love” interests (toxic, but hot 🥵), is insane. Not enough for me to go to Magdalene, I hope.
I loved how quickly Lorcan clocked how different his “unlucky” little sister was from the moment Liath stepped into becoming Rua.
Liath surprised me in this book. I expected her to show more of Liath while pretending to be Rua than she did, but I was happy with the bits she did show.
I’m pumped about Lorcan. He is toxic enough, but with a reason to be, while also fighting behind the scenes to put his father’s legacy to rest. Little do either of our main characters know that the secrets they are hiding from each other all come together in the end.
Seeing Deargán so jealous over Lorcan was something I was looking forward to reading, knowing it was going to come. I hadn’t realized how attached I had become to Deargán, even after learning all the terrible things he had done in his past.
Liath becoming friends with a girl she had saved in book one was not something I was expecting. I love the little bits we see of Nuala, and I am hoping to see some of her and Finn in the future.
The way this book ended was in true Sienna fashion, me wondering why, thinking who is alive and where, and what terrible thing is going to tear my heart out in the next book!
I’m never disappointed in her writing. On to book three. Wish me luck!

Liaths’ nightmarish journey continues in this next installment, and I was more than ready to jump back down the rabbit hole.
This read is super intense, suspenseful and haunting with unexpected twists that were gut wrenching. What is happening to get and why is a true testament to her inner strength, but at what cost?
I was so eager to discover what was going to happen next, I became impatient with the pace of the story. This author sets the scene and the plot unfolds flawlessly where I felt I was there.
Deeply moving and even thought provoking I cannot wait to jump into book 3!

Just this second finish and OMG 😲 THAT WAS INTENSE!
Can I summerise this? No!
Its book 2 of a trilogy but wow, the plot twists, I did not see coming .. the thriller vibes 👌🏼 the shattering anxiety I had .. damn!
So much happens in this book, its difficult to give a breakdown of everything without spoiling the plot but buckle up - you're in for an intense ride!

💔There is only so much my heart can take. Not sure what magic surronds Sienna as she write but ❤️❤️❤️👀WHAT IN THE WORLD! This book met every mark for me, great story and so excited to read the finale...

I don't know what to say! This book had me on the edge of my seat and not knowing who to trust and who not too. The ending was...omg the ending. Im going right into claiming beauty, see you on the other side!

I am obsessed with this series i demolished all these books so fast!! The storyline was outstanding and the tension was on fire!! The twists I didn’t see coming blew my mind away! I think this is my favourite series from Sienna but I say that every time she releases a new book 😂 but I swear they get better each time! Obsessed is an understatement and definitely worth the read!!

I’m not going to lie, I was struggling to read this book. I was almost halfway through before I became completely invested. It’s not that I didn’t like the book, it’s just that this one didn’t have the intensity book 1 had from page one. Breaking Beauty grabbed me my the arm and started running. Twisting literally had me twisting, making myself read. I just felt as though this book was dragged out - it could have moved way faster than it did.
Now, once we got to that halfway point, I was hooked in! In Sienna Blake fashion, the twists begin hitting. I NEVER saw it coming. This book is full of truths, half truths, betrayals, and the want to believe in someone. Even though it was slow to go for me, I wasn’t too disappointed. It’s going to be interesting to see how she wraps it all up.

Book two and oh how the plot thickens. I loved Lorcan from the first moment, his hardships and constant struggle for what he wants versus what he has been conditioned for was amazingly written. Without giving any spoilers the twist at the end was not at all what i was expecting, i love not being able to trust anyone’s POV and what the real story is. Diving straight into book three!

Liath is hovering between fighting for her life or being killed by Lorcan or Deargan. Both men are keeping a close eye on her. A tangled web of lies, betrayal and reluctant attraction leads the characters on a wild chase.
