Beyond excited to finish this book!!!
I always love be that the underdog wins! She always makes the woman feel sexy even when they are insecure! I can almost hear Mr Chasseur's French accent as I read lol

I should have known from the description that this would include a dominate/submissive storyline, and those just aren't my thing. I also didn't care for the mistreatment of the main character by her female boss at the start of the book. The writing is decent, but he story is meh.

Samantha’s unexpected leap from secretary to runway model creates a Cinderella-meets-bondage setup that’s unique and delightfully indulgent. Jean-Pierre is mysterious and alluring, if a little one-note at first, but the BDSM undertones are well-woven. It’s a little campy, a lot sexy, and ideal for anyone craving a mix of fashion drama and submission fantasy.

I really like this one
It has everything, a sexy Frenchman, Jean Pierre and a timid secretary, Samantha. Samantha's boss Claire wants Jean Pierre to be her third husband but he has other things on his mind and none of include Claire, they depend on Samantha and only Samantha.
I want to find out what Claire does afterward.

Good plot but you've seen it before
I think this was a spin on the Devil Wears Prada. Not bad but written in Lucia's fashion of great intimate scenes and no character development.
