A powerful Contemporary Romance. Here is the first book in the ‘Blush’ Series by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion and emotion.
“A woman may tempt the eye in public, but a man tames a women’s fierce beauty in private…”
Samantha Kegan dreams of someday being a fashion designer, but for now she has her hands full working as a secretary for Claire Mangel, the tough headed senior editor of NuTrend magazine. So when one of the models gets sick and is unable to attend the season’s biggest fashion show, her demanding boss orders Samantha to replace her and walk the runway as "Blaze", an order Samantha dares not refuse. She manages to pull off the masquerade by putting on a naughty, sexy persona as Blaze, catching the eye of famous French Designer – Jean-Pierre Chasseur.
For nearly a year Jean-Pierre Chasseur has been looking for the right model to serve as the muse and public face of his "Fierce Beauty" bondage-themed fashion line. When he sees the glorious Blaze walk down the runway, her ripe curves and saucy moves convinces him she's the one. But unbeknownst to Samantha, modelling isn’t the only thing the designer wants from her. What happens when she discovers his hidden desires lurking under the surface? Will she submit to the demands of her new boss in every way he requires?

I always love be that the underdog wins! She always makes the woman feel sexy even when they are insecure! I can almost hear Mr Chasseur's French accent as I read lol
I should have known from the description that this would include a dominate/submissive storyline, and those just aren't my thing. I also didn't care for the mistreatment of the main character by her female boss at the start of the book. The writing is decent, but he story is meh.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A fashion show mishap turns into a designer’s obsession, and the result is a bit wild and very fun. Samantha’s unexpected leap from secretary to runway model creates a Cinderella-meets-bondage setup that’s unique and delightfully indulgent. Jean-Pierre is mysterious and alluring, if a little one-note at first, but the BDSM undertones are well-woven. It’s a little campy, a lot sexy, and ideal for anyone craving a mix of fashion drama and submission fantasy.
It has everything, a sexy Frenchman, Jean Pierre and a timid secretary, Samantha. Samantha's boss Claire wants Jean Pierre to be her third husband but he has other things on his mind and none of include Claire, they depend on Samantha and only Samantha. I want to find out what Claire does afterward.
When Jean-Pierre invites Samantha to be the model for his new bondage line, is it that he thinks she would be a perfect fit, or does he have his own agenda on his mind?
