This was amazing!!!! I had never read anything from this author before, but wow! She has real talent in creating multidimensional characters and storylines full of twists!
Victoria is a successful business woman. She has a very popular day spa. She has no need of a man. She has everything. But in reality, Victoria is hiding something; something that can put her behind bars.
She is the Madame of a very elite escort service. She hires girls to keep wealthy men happy. She keeps her business clean and doesn't allow her girls to be mistreated. She has kept her gritty job a secret from everyone; from boyfriends and her family.
Her life changes when she meets Nathan Lennox at a charity event. Nathan is dark and handsome and he is immediately drawn to her.
Victoria tries to avoid any kind of contact with him, but he is persistent. He pursues her and after a while, he wins her over. Their relationship is passionate and full of sensuality. Victoria has finally found a man who makes her feel alive.
Things move steadily forward and Victoria has some serious decisions to make. Will she leave her past life behind her or will she deny Nathan's love and be the woman she has always been?
But there is more to Nathan than what meets the eye. He has secrets and he is not who we think he is.
When her lover's true identity is revealed Victoria's world will come crushing down around her. She will need to decide if Nathan's love is worth it. She will have to choose.
I loved the writing, the characters, everything! The book was full of emotions, twists and two heroes that will make you fall in love with their passionate tale of love, betrayal and honor! Victoria was so amazingly brave and Nathan so beautifully generous. A real page turner!
I totally recommend it if you want something emotional and refreshing!

Nathan, I loved him, he realized he was a sucker for his woman, "can’t stay pi**ed at you , baby. That’s going to be a problem for me." Sweet Jesus his threats are so damn sexy, "I’m letting you go now, and I swear to God, if you hit me again , I’m going to tackle you and tie you to the effing bed." I was praying to Jesus that he'd walk out of the book and come spank me, "you keep this up, baby, and I’m going to take you up to our room and spank you." I had reservations about this book thanks to the blurb but I'm glad I took a chance because Alice wrote an amazing book and Nathan was to die for.

First off, let me say how much I adore this author. I have loved all her stuff and always look forward to each book she sends me. This book was kinda something I have been waiting to read since I read Contractual. I fell in love with Jackson but was very interested in Victoria and what made her HER. When I found out that this book was about her, I was soooo excited.
Victoria is a business woman. She looks after her girls…oh yeah…she is a Madam don’t ya know……and she keeps them safe. She goes to a charity event sees Mr. Tall Drink of Water. They talk for a few but Victoria pushes away. She keeps everyone at arms distance away from her because of the guilt she carries with her job. Well thanks to her meddling friend, Mr. Tall Drink of Water calls. We find out his name is Nicholas. He seems to be the perfect alpha to get our girl. He is a little bit younger but is after her 110%. He is just what she needs. He makes her come out of her shell. He makes her want things. This is a dangerous though for Victoria…….
The couple have a great rocky start. Victoria pushes and Nicholas won’t say no. He pushes her right back. I gotta say, I loved how he knew what she needed when she needed it. When Victoria and Nicholas finally go all in with each other I was a smitten kitten like our Tori.
Then the bomb drops and Tori is arrested for her “job”. She soon learns that people she trusted weren’t the right people. Her life is a mess but will Nicolas be able to handle hearing about her “job” or does he already know???? I couldn’t stop reading. The last 30% of the book I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I had to know what and why and how come!!! But I mainly had to know if my girl makes it out without losing everything in the process.

Victoria is a madam, her business is definitely high class, and she takes great care of the girls who work for her, and great pride in the way she conducts business, she's also the owner of a successful spa that she uses as the covert for her escort business.
Victoria meets Nathan Lennox at a charity event, he's attractive, well spoken, and provides security for various business and high society affairs. They hit it off but Victoria is too afraid to open her heart and disclose her secrets to anyone.
She has her reservations about Nathan but he's persistent and goes after her with everything he has. Little by little, Victoria falls in love with Nathan and as their relationship progresses she realizes that she's going to need to tell him the secret she's been hiding for years if she wants to give their relationship a fair chance.
But Victoria is not the only one keeping secrets, Nathan has a few of his own up his sleeve. In a wild turn of event Victoria's world comes crashing down, but perhaps she's not the only one who's world is turned upside down.
Alice has written an incredible tale full of twist and turns and strong emotions that will keep the reader glued to the book until the very last word.
I absolutely loved Victoria's character. She's a strong, independent woman. A woman who has built a wall around her heart, but who is incredibly vulnerable and loving. I also loved Nathan, I was a bit upset at him when the bomb went off, but after seeing his true self, I couldn't help but love the man.
Along with the two main characters, the secondary characters are well developed and a perfect fit to the story.
I've read most of Alice's books, but Mirage is her best one yet. This is a well written book full of lust, love, lost, and love.
Highly recommended. Without a doubt, one of the best reads of the first part of this year.

This is my first read by Alice. It was a great read at that.
In mirage we meet Victoria. She had a rough childhood. A motherless one. Well her mom was there but she wasn't. Her night in shinning armor was her dad. He knew exactly to show up.
Victoria is a business woman with a side job. She is kind of like Heidi Fleiss.
In walks Nathan....while at a charity event Nathan pulls all the right moves. Victoria though shoots them all down. Nathan being the alpha male that he is, he wants Victoria and he is set to get her.
They exchange text messages and finally they go out on a date. Nathan he brings her breakfast, takes her to work, tells her to sit her ass on the back of his bike when she doesn't want to. When I said he is alpha male you have no idea!!
Their friendship grows and one thing leads to another. Victoria has fallen in love. Her side business though, there are some kinks. Victoria has very strict rules. When they are broken she is quick to give the girls an alternative. She works with them instead of forcing them out on the street.
Nathan is very secretive though. There are little things that he does that makes you wonder. Is he a John? Does he really know what Victoria does? Does he want her for her money?
There are times where it was slow for me only because Victoria was fighting an inner fight with herself. To tell Nathan what she really does or not to tell him. When she finally decides to tell him all hell breaks loose.
Not going to give to much away. Nathan does know about Victoria and her side business. He pulls his alpha male card and tells her things everyone woman wants to hear. She is still at arms about him. His secrets tore her heart apart.
What does Nathan do? Victoria does she get out of the business? How alpha male is Nathan? Find out all these answers when you read Mirage.

Though I had heard Alice Tribue's name, until I picked up Mirage I had never read one of her books ~ this is something I will be remedying in the near future.
The blurb for Mirage had me intrigued - there are many books available where the main character is an escort but I'd personally never come across one where the female lead was a Madam. I have to say that I loved this story from the start.
Victoria is a very successful woman who has a very tough exterior but there are many layers her - she hides them all very well - and when you discover why she took the road to becoming a Madam it gives you a better insight to her character.
Nathan, ah, dark, mysterious, determined, dirty talking man that he is.... He's another one with secrets and layers - and even though I wondered what his angle was right from their first meeting, I kept hoping that he was as good as he appeared to be!
They get together after a fair amount of persistence on Nathans part ~ Victoria has so many secrets that need to be kept hidden and she trusts so few people that it's hard for her to let anyone in - will she be making a terrible mistake letting Nathan get close to her?
When the shroud is lifted and his truths are exposed, her world is knocked for six, but she's not the only one affected!
I read this story in less than a day - and that was allowing for interruptions from real life, bugger that it can be... - I honestly didn't want to put the book down!!
A hot, emotional and sexy story, with a likeable supporting cast, some mystery, a couple of twists and a good plot ~ for me, this was a really great read and I give it 4.5*

I have been excited to read this book since I read Contractual. Victoria was a interesting character then and I have been wanting to find out more about her and her story for her story.
I knew Mirage was going to be hot, sexy and interesting read as the main character, Victoria is a very well known madam. She is very high class and is very protective of all the girls that work for her, even though she is a very good business woman, she always puts the safety of her Girls before anything. She may run a illegal business but Victoria is a good woman, who has a huge wall around her heart. She pushes people away and never lets anyone get close to her. Her business and girls are her life and that's the way Victoria likes it.
Nathan is the perfect character to start breaking down Victorias walls. They meet at a charity Gala, but because she feels the need to always protect her job and girls, she finds herself pushing Nathan away.
Nathan is pushy though and tries lots of different ways and times to try and break through Victorias walls and just as he starts succeeding to get through to her, secrets are revealed and truths come out about Nathan.
Can Nathan prove himself and his love to Victoria or will Victoria put the wall back up around her heart again?
This story was just as good as I expected. I absolutely love the twist and secrets and didn't see them coming. The sex scenes were off the charts hot and so was the chemistry between Victoria and Nathan.
The book definitely lived up to my expectations.

Mirage is the second book that I've read by Alice Tribue after Contractual and I have to say that the author does not disappoint!!!
Victoria Powell is a madame in New York City. She caters to the demands of the rich by providing her clients the girl that they desire. Even though what she does is illegal, her service is that of class. Discretion is a must and both the interests of her girls and her clients are protected. She meets the very handsome Nathan Lennox at a charity gala one night and is blown away by his personality.
However, relationships do not come easy for Victoria and she tries her best to stay away but Nathan won't take no for an answer. She gives in when Nathan keeps pursuing her relentlessly and ultimately she falls head over heels for him. However, unfortunate events occur, secrets are exposed, lies come to light. Victoria feels betrayed and their relationship is barely hanging on. Victoria needs to decide whether she can forgive Nathan or is their love not worth the effort..
Mirage is an awesome read which I thoroughly enjoyed. I simply could not put it down once I started. This book is for everyone out there who love reading romance with a hero who knows exactly what he wants and is not afraid to fight for what's his and a heroine who is strong, smart, independent, stubborn but who needs to be loved by the right person for her. Mirage is certainly a love story worth reading!

One night at a charity gala, she meets the handsome and oh so sexy Nathan, Victoria has a built a wall around herself because she knows that if what she does gets out, she will be sent to prison. Nathan is determined to break her walls down. He wants to know everything about her. Of course, this makes her nervous, so she tries her best to ignore him. He begins to wear her down, so she agrees to go on some dates with him. With time, Victoria begins to fall for Nathan. The problem is that Nathan is not who he claims to be. Secrets are revealed that ultimately lead to heartbreak. Victoria cuts all ties with Nathan, but once again he refuses to give up on her. Sexy, Scorching, hot read!! Wow this book was hot hot hot!! You must read immediately.

Loved the story, even tho at times it was predictable I loved how it showed that Nathan aka Eric never gave up on Victoria aka Tori..He fell in Love with her and not the common criminal which I was Assuming would happen..I love how he chose her which is lovely and then she realizes she has to fight for him finally..Knowing that he is the one for her..I adore HE A and this one was a HE A for sure..

4-4.5 stars. Victoria, who is a friend of Jackson Stone in Contractual, has always been very independent and self-motivated. She focuses all of her energy on her job, as the owner or Madam of an elite escort agency under the guise of a day spa. Victoria herself is not an escort nor has she ever been one. Although she has more money than she will ever need, she is still lonely and empty on the inside, not ever believing that she will find love in her life. At the same time, Victoria doesn't trust people easily and knows that even if she ever did meet the right man, a relationship cannot thrive with her continuing with her present career because it's not actually legal.
When she meets Nathan Lennox, she immediately recognizes a man she is very attracted to but wants nothing to do with him. Nathan is persistent as hell and won't let Victoria escape so easily without giving him the chance to get to know her. Victoria makes a lot of excuses but can't ignore their chemistry. I admired Nathan's tenacity and ability to see through Victoria's poorly disguised disinterest, but I also understood Victoria's reservations. She's been burned badly in the past emotionally and never quite recovered, hence the reason why she strongly hesitates to let anyone in and to allow herself to be vulnerable again.
Victoria fascinated me because as a woman who is involved in the business that she is in, I expected her to be cutthroat and domineering with very little compassion. She's not like that at all. Even though she makes money off of an illegal activity, Victoria takes care of her employees and minimizes the risks of the profession as much as possible for her girls. She strives to keep them classy and only caters to high end clients. Truthfully, she is more of a nurturer than she realizes and her reasons for running this business are not the intentions of a real criminal.
As Nathan and Victoria test the waters of a relationship, Victoria must decide what means more to her, her job or Nathan. She cannot have both because that would require constant deception and what would Nathan think of her when she tells him the truth? I loved Nathan because he was crazy about the person he saw inside of Victoria and I really wanted to see Victoria find happiness. But there definitely came a time when Nathan's actions took me by surprise and I didn't know what to think next. Things were moving at a regular, organic pace until the truth comes out and then I was speed reading to find out what happens next and how it would end. After everything comes to light, can they look past what happened and move forward? What would it take to prove that what they had was genuine and worth fighting for? For fans of Contractual, Mirage is another great read (and if you haven't read Contractual, it's not necessary to read prior to this).

Mirage is a story about love and lies. Victoria had lived her life the best she knew how, with not so great childhood that shaped the way she see things. Life is hard and lies came easily. Growing up and becoming a Madame for women that needed her help, was easy at first. Everything about her business was discreet, she protected her girls, and protected her clients. No one talks about the company she and what it offered, men needed sex and she offered the services. She knew what she was doing was illegal, but the money came easy and being a Madame means she gets to help get these girls off the street with what they were going to do anyway.
Then one day she meets Nathan at a charity event, they locked eyes and that was the start of the rest of her life. Victoria kept away from serious relationships, to keep her business safe, but when Nathan came barreling down on her…there was no way to stop what was happening. Nathan was persistent and when it came to him, Victoria was ok with giving him control. She was all about control, but when Nathan takes it, she willingly gave it without hesitation. Nathan made her feels things she never felt before, he made her want a future she never thought she deserved. But when her secret life came into full view, will she give up her business and all the money that goes with it to have a future with Nathan? Read and find out.
Nathan is full on alpha male, when he ordered what he wants he gets it. When he takes control of Victoria, he gets it. But he also had her very sweet side that wanted to protect and love Victoria. His sweetness was never too much, but very much welcomed. He was sweet, but also very firm. Of course also very hot. When it came to sex, he was very demanding, but with the promise of a very happy ending. LOL. This story is not only filled with love, but with the suspense on what’s going on around them. A very demanding and enjoyable read. <3

Alice Tribue has quickly become one of my favorite authors. There is a ease that I enjoy from her books, and I always know that I'm going to get a satisfying story with characters that I fall in love with. Mirage was no exception.
We meet Victoria in a previous book, Contractual, but her character is minor, and you do not need to read it before enjoying Mirage. Victoria is a Madame. She excels at her job. She has a vision, and while the money is remarkable, it's not the reason she is in the business. Victoria is my kind of heroine. Her horrific upbringing could have left her a mess, wandering through life without purpose, lost, but not Victoria. She rises above that. She was a kick-ass, fiercely independent woman, who knew exactly what she wanted, didn't need a man to get here there, or even one to prop her up along the way. She kept people out, knowing that loving lead to loss. Victoria's wall was holding perfectly, until Nathan Lennox broke through it.
Nathan seemed too good to be true, and for the always skeptical Victoria, he was. Here comes this man, gorgeous and charismatic, who, for reasons unknown, has his sights set on Victoria. Nathan has his work cut out for him. Victoria has no interest in starting a relationship, and she make this clear to Nathan... on several occasions. Lucky for us, (and Victoria) Nathan is PERSISTANT.
The relationship that slowly formed between Victoria and Nathan was engaging and their chemistry was scorching! I'll give you two words; LAUNDRY ROOM. Nathan was hot, demanding and just plain awesome. Once Victoria allowed herself to give in to him, she found herself falling in love, but still held the biggest part of herself from Nathan. Victoria is no stranger to secrets, but when the biggest one of all becomes the ultimate betrayal, can Nathan redeem himself? Can Victoria find forgiveness and hold on to her one chance at true love?

I was intrigued by Victoria when I met her in Contractual, who doesn't want to know more about a successful madam. I wanted to know what made her click and what was underneath that tough and cold exterior. Those answers are exactly what was found in Mirage. Victoria owns not only a successful escort service but also a day spa that is the cover for her business. Beyond the money and aloofness, you find a lonely and guarded lady. She has no real friends, she has no real relationships with the exception of a few and really her life is not all it cracked up to be. Just when she is not looking she is "rescued" by Nathan.
Nathan is in security and he peruses Victoria hard. He doesn't take no for an answer and little by little he breaks through Victoria's shell. The things he did made me smile and eventually he brings out the best in Victoria. He is able to show her a life that she wants to have, but is too afraid to reach for. He is an alpha paired against an alpha, but he just has this commanding way about him that brings Victoria to her knees. But what kind of future can two people have when lies and betrayal get in the way.
I spent the first half of this book feeling like I was missing something, some critical piece of information to make everything else fall into place. The connection between Victoria and Nathan was strong and while they had their ups and downs, something still felt off. AND then it happens...the "no s***" moment and I could not put the book down. I really can't say anymore than that because you just have to read it for yourself and know that you won't be disappointed. Like my last Alice Tribue book, I felt an array of emotions. There was heat, some suspense, a few laughs, angst and a love story about two people discovering what it is they really want out of their lives.

Mirage is an erotic tale about two people who couldn't be more wrong for each other. Both at turning points in their careers and finding each other proves to be nearly disastrous.
Victoria Powell is an upscale Madame in New York City. She is classy, successful and no holds bar when it comes to the safety of her girls. I loved Victoria and her nonsense approach to life.
Nathan Lennox is all male and totally yummy! He is confident, driven and always gets what he wants out of life and women. Nathan is filled with surprises. His approach at winning Victoria over was the perfect mix of ALPHA and endearing!
Meeting him was one of those moments, those moments that stick with you for some reason, stay trapped in your brain with no way out.
Victoria TRIES to avoid Nathan! She turns him down repeatedly BUT I did mention that Nathan ALWAYS gets what he wants…
He grins at me and I swear I feel it everywhere. EVERYWHERE...
This story is honestly addictive! Victoria and Nathan have fantastic chemistry and their banter is just pure gold! BUT what was truly the winner for me… THE TWIST!!! My heart broke for both characters as secrets were unveiled and they were forced to face reality.
I cry getting lost in the feelings his hands are creating, he plays my body against me, forcing me to push any doubts out of my head, forcing me to feel every single move of his fingers on me.
This heart racing story is a must read! I totally fell in love with the characters and the gripping story! Mirage is a standalone read all wrapped up with a heartwarming Epilogue.

Victoria is a woman who is very powerful, strong, beautiful and confident. She will do whatever it takes to protect her girls and her business. So when Nathan comes barreling into her life, she doesn't want to pursue anything with him because no man will ever understand her job, but the man is persistent and continues to pursue her until she relents.
Victoria starts putting her guard down and starts letting Nathan in her life little by little. The thing is, is she willing to risk her business for love? Victoria has come to the conclusion that she needs to leave that life behind eventually, so now is a good a time as any correct? Now will Nathan understands if he were to find out what type of business Victoria owns behind the spa?
I loved Victoria because like I said in my first paragraph, she was a confident, strong, independent, beautiful and powerful woman. Not many books have heroin's like her and I love the fact that she goes out of her way to protect her girls. Someone messes with her business and/or her girls, she will make sure she handles the problem and that it will not happen again. Don't cross Victoria, that's for sure!
But when Nathan comes into her life, she seems to soften up a bit and has realized that the life she leads now is not something she wants to do forever. She needs to think about her happiness and what will make her happy? Nathan, that's who!

Nathan/Eric, ever persistent, worms his way into Victoria’s life and eventually her heart.
Victoria, a Madam who “classily” runs a sex service under the disguise of a spa, internally battles with telling Nathan/Eric the truth. Nathan/Eric is the first man to ever make her feel. To make her want to change her lifestyle. TO make her want to give up everything she’s work so hard for.
But, Nathan/Eric has a secret of his own. He had an ulterior motive, which slipped right through his hands and he let his feelings for Victoria lead the way.
The premise of this story was pretty different. Victoria was a character you could love, hate to love, or love to hate. She was stubborn, with a pair of golden balls that she was afraid to unleash.
I liked her brashness. I loved her how she held her tongue for no one. Her stubbornness though? I could’ve done without. Especially when we get down to the nitty gritty of the story and secrets are unveiled and lies are uncovered – I was conflicted with agreeing and disagreeing with the way she handle things.
Nathan/Eric was bossy. Persistent, a man on a mission. He was also selfless when it all blew up for Victoria and right in his face. He, too, had me agreeing and shaking my head at the way he handled things.
While I did enjoy the story, I felt like there was something(s) missing. I knew these two had chemistry, but I think I failed to really connect with it. I felt like there was a missing piece to this crazy puzzle. And at times, I even questioned if they should even be together at all.

31/2 Stars. Victoria Powell has a guilty conscience. She's a madam, she sells sex. In order to frees herself from some of the guilt, she only allows her girls to have one client at a time as long as their contract lasts. Victoria only allows a few people to be close to her. She doesn't want her secret to get out. When she meets Nathan Lennox at a charity event her senses go on full alert and for good reason.
Victoria has a saviors complex because of her past experience with her mother and it influenced her career of choice. Money is not Victoria's only reason for being a Madam, she wants to right her mother's wrongs. Nathan shows up at a time when Victoria had already been considering closing down her illegal business. As she falls further in love with Nathan, she continues to hide the truth from him by only sharing the mirage that she's created. There's a major twist in the story that was not difficult to forecast. The truth is exposed and their relationship is in jeopardy.
I was disappointed that the twist in the story was predictable. I really like Alice Tribue's book, but this one didn't work for me. Victoria is also not a friendly character, many of her actions toward Nathan are hard to swallow. Victoria is a very hurtful, mean, sarcastic woman. I had a difficult time understanding Nathan, he was definitely whipped. Nathan continues to pursues Victoria no matter what she says or does. I understand her issues but dam Nathan needed to grow a backbone and moved on. Victoria does face her past and makes a concerted effort to move forward and leave it behind her. I felt as if the damaged was already done.

Victoria meets Nathan one night at a charity event and is instantly smitten, but even though she is drawn to him she just cannot let him in.
Nathan is her perfect match. He challenges her and it drives her wild both physically and mentally. She has never questioned what she does for a living until he came along. She was always about protecting her “girls”. Now Nathan has sent her for a loop and with some recent events she wants out of the business, but needs some time. Can she truly let him in? Will she change her future for him?
I love the push and pull between these two. Victoria was not some wishy-washy lead female. She actually had a backbone and can take care of herself. Nathan is her perfect match because he can dish out anything she tosses at him and then some. He is the right blend of cocky dominance and squishy romantic. Even though these two are perfect for each other, there are a few HUGE issues in between them that will come out and when they do it will ruin everything they built, everything they have sacrificed and everything Victoria has spent her life trying to hide.
I love when a book has a good flow, can make we want to flip the pages, and help me escape reality. Great read Alice, thank you.

I absolutely loved every second of this book! From start to finish, it was superb, thrilling, exciting, invigorating and sensuous. Yeah, it was all that and a bag of chips. If you're a fan of Alice's then you'll love this story. If you're new to Alice, then you're in for a treat.
Victoria is an independent, strong woman that's done well for herself. She deals in lies and secrets and it's given her a life where she's in control and feels like she's helping her employees. However, after years of this life, she wanting something more. Something that will make her proud and something that her father can be proud of.
Enter a strange yet alluring man. A man that entices her in ways that no man has ever done before. He is persistent in his pursuit of her. She wants him but there is something that tell her to keep her distance.

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Alice and all her books. Most of her books blow me away. I have been waiting for this one since I finished Contractual. Of course I always look forward to her next book even if I have no idea when it will come. She didn't let me down either.
This is the story of Victoria and if you read Contractual then you know she is great at her job and she doesn't take crap from anyone. I love that she is a strong character and learns to show her softer side. Why is she afraid to show her softer side? Why is she the strong woman she is and can anyone really know and understand her? Nathan is a charmer for sure and he just has this way of making you fall in love with him. Is he to good to be true? That is the journey this story takes you on. Telling the true person that each of them are and letting them learn about each other and themselves.
I will admit that the beginning was a little slow maybe but it doesn't last long and then it gets really good. There weren't any big twists or surprises for me but it was a great storyline and the characters were lovable. I love that Victoria realizes that she has real friends and that Ivy is one of her best friends. I love Ivy she was cute, funny, and knew how to really make Victoria think and that was great. I'm hoping that maybe Ivy will get her own book (hint hint ;) )

One of my fave authors is Alice Tribue. Last year, I discovered her with Shelter You and I've loved everything I've read of her so far.
Mirage isn't the exception, I loved the controversial plot Alice wrote since Contractual, an escort as the heroine #Unconventional. In this case Victoria is the madame of that business and she has built a life based on lies.
But if you reach to know Victoria as Nathan does you can understand her reasons and her beautiful, protected heart.
Nathan? Oh my! What can I say? Alice writes the most irresistible male characters ever. Sexy, intense, kinky, dominant... stop me when you need it

Mirage deals with some subject matters that some may find offensive. Please be sure to read the synopsis before purchasing.
That being said I have NO issue with the subjects discussed in this book lol. Victoria's entire life is a mirage and she aptly named her day spa, front business, Mirage. The real business for Victoria is the oldest profession in the world....some refer to her as a madam but to her it's all business. Victoria knows what's she does isn't legal but she takes her business very seriously and she will do whatever she has to to protect her girls. With her business and past love isn't something that Victoria is looking for nor does she want it. Or at least that's what she tells herself until she meets HIM at a charity event.
Nathan seems to be just what the doctor ordered. He will not let Tori get away with anything including pushing him away which seems to be her first instinct. The chemistry between these two is palpable.
Tribue did an amazing job of weaving this story in a away that kept the reader engaged and wanting more. A must read for those who like an erotic tale with a bit of suspense. Job well done.

Mirage was my first book written by Alice Tribue and I know it will definitely not be my last. She wrote a suspenseful romance story that kept me turning the page long after it was time for me to go to bed.
Victoria is a powerful and imtimadating person. She lives her life and runs her business with strict rules and boundaries. It’s how she’s been so successful. However, when she meets Nathan she completely reassesses all that she knows. She wonders about possibly ending up on a different path than the one she currently resides on. Nathan makes her want more. He challenges her and completes her life in areas she didn’t know were lacking.
This couple is sexy and fun. You are enticed by the instant attraction and lust they feel for one another. However you never lose the feeling that something isn’t right you’re just not sure what it is. It makes for intensive reading because it feels like there’s a bad guy lurking out there but you’re not sure who or what it is.
At times, I thought the plot was a little predictable but it in no way lessened my enjoyment of the book. It’s very well written and developed. Victoria and Nathan’s journey together is one you do not want to miss. Check out Mirage today!

This book was fanfreakingtastic... I could not put it down. .. Victoria is the woman who every man wants and every woman envies. . She has spent most of her adult life looking over her shoulder trying to protect her business and the girls who work for her. . She trusts very few people with good reason because one misstep and life as she knows it could be destroyed. . But she is getting tired of it and wonders if there could be more to life for her... Then in walks Nathan sexy as sin and stubborn... He will not take no for an answer. .. She slowly starts to open up to the idea that love does exist and she can possibly have a happy life and begin to trust him... Victoria fears that the secrets she is keeping about her business could destroy the possibility of a future for her and Nathan but she is not the only one with secrets and his secrets could destroy everything including her... Alice Tribue just keeps putting out one great book after another... Can't wait to see she comes up with next...

This is the first thing that I've read from this author, and I am so glad that I got the chance to do so. I will be looking for more from this author! Victoria is two sides of the same coin, on the one side she is this woman who has built up a highly successful spa, and on the other side she has a dark secret, one that if found out could ruin her life. When she meets Nathan he is immediately taken with her, but she is not so easily taken. Nathan is tall, dark, and handsome and is very persistent, but Victoria has kept her secret from everyone, how could she contemplate being in a relationship, when she has such a huge secret? When Nathan worms his way through her barriers its electric! This story is full of passion and heat and crazy off the charts chemistry, it will make your heart pound, and your face flush and curl your toes! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book really took me by surprise. I thought I knew how it would be and I was completely wrong. I adore Victoria and Nicholas. They had such chemistry from their first meeting at a charity event but Victoria did everything she could to push him away. Nicholas never took No for an answer and pushed her right back. Everything seems perfect until Victoria’s secret of being a madam is exposed. Where does this leave her and Nicholas? This book had a slow build in the beginning but the near the end it took off like a rocket. I loved the ending and the twists and look forward to reading more from this author.
