If you love smart, steamy sapphic romances with unforgettable characters, Off The Record is an absolute must. T.B. Markinson and Miranda MacLeod have bundled The AM Show and Flight Plan, two of my favorite reads, into one fabulous collection!
Whether you’re meeting Amanda and Dakota, Gwen and Reggie for the first time or revisiting them, get ready to fall in love. Each woman is compelling and alluring, but together they’re absolute fire. Intelligent, sexy, driven, tough when necessary, and fiercely independent, yet vulnerable, communicative, supportive, deeply caring, and romantic.
Both stories hooked me from their opening sentences and still haven’t let go. The torching chemistry, smoldering glances, witty, flirty dialogue, intrigue, twists, and turns kept me entranced and eagerly turning the pages.
Beyond the romance, both stories address what it’s like to be underestimated, underappreciated, and unfairly judged in the “old boys’ club” world, but persevering and conquering. A 2 for 1 great set of stories
Amanda is feeling outdated and old. Having Dakota interested in her boosts her confidence to have a one night stand with her. Dakota can't believe her dream celebrity crush is asking her back to her room. This is a real romcom with sizzle as promised by T.B. Markinson. I think her and Miranda make a great pair when collaborating. The story is funny and romantic. We get to see them in action as reporters trying to get to the bottom of who is trying to get rid of our beloved Amanda from The AM Show.
Reggie literally falls into Gwen and the fun begins. They are super hot together and Gwen knows how to take control. Reggie lives a very privileged lifestyle, but it comes at a price. Gwen gives her comfort and stands by her when she goes against her father. I was completely involved in the story and how it was all going to be resolved. Miranda and T.B. And an amazing team. I love all of their books.

This is a two book special that contains the AM Show and Flight Plan by this dynamic writing duo who ate two of my favorites. In this first book, the dialogue is fun, flirty, very believable, and the chemistry is hot. The twists are just great!
The second book is filled with intrigue, power, abuse, tyranny and homophobia sprinkled in with sweet romance and lots of steam. The characters are intelligent and multi-layered with great dialogue in this exciting plot of corruption. What a collaboration!!!
