From USA Today Bestselling Author S. E. Lund, the long-awaited conclusion to the Dominion Series of paranormal romantic suspense novels.
Redemption, Book 5 in the Dominion Series, concludes Eve's quest to learn the truth about her mother's death, her own birth and her role in the fight to prevent Dominion-- vampire rule over humans.
The Dominion Series:
Eve Hayden had no idea what to expect the night she went in search of a translator for an 800-year old French illuminated manuscript but it certainly wasn’t what she found -- Michel and Julien de Cernay: 800-year old identical twin vampire brothers – beautiful, tempermental opposites, both wanting her for themselves.
Michel -- dark, brooding, control-freak, former priest who broke his vows the night he was turned into a vampire. Julien -- impetuous, valiant, passionate, a brave knight who lost his life on a battlefield when a vampire claimed him.
Caught between the two brothers, Eve searches for the truth about her mother's death, her birth, and the fight to prevent Dominion – vampire rule over humans. Eve's mother gave her life to keep Eve safe, but was unable to protect herself. Now, Eve can't escape this fate nor can she escape the twins -- even if she wanted to.

Good story, but the author took the LONG way 'round....
I'm sure without the huge amount of repetitiveness theses books could have been 3, not 5.
I do like the way she thinks and she's managed to really get into her theme, but it's way too predictable.
I figured it out two books ago, but her main character couldn't?
I actually find Lund's female characters a little on the vapid side to be honest, I think she tries to write these really strong females, but what they came across to me as were indecisive, and scared of knowing themselves.
I do like theses books, good story but a little too long with not enough information- would've been good if she could tell US more even if Eve couldn't know...
What an anticlimactic ending to the series. There really wasn't much character development and the book felt really repetitive, with a bunch of facts being dumped on the reader at the very end.
Like the whole deal about who Soren and the Twelve really are? What about Eve's mother? There's not much explanation about her disappearance besides the fact that she needed to stay away to be a part of the plan to destroy Soren.
Also, is it me or do y'all find it f*cked up that Eve ends up with both twins? I understand it's hard to choose between the twins but has just been so indecisive about who she wanted since the third book...
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
wow. All of my agnst in book 4 is explained away in book 5. There were times I still wanted to scream and beat Michel with his Bible, but in the end it all made sense. My heart ached for the twins, and the sacrifice they both had to endure. My heart was always with Michel though, and i had pages of tears with this one. In the end I was content, but was sorry for all that had be be endured, and am sort of glad that the end leaves some possibilities.
Bleh. :-/ I wasn't going to read the last book, but my girlfriend called me a quitter and I caved. I should've gone with my gut. For all the details and prolonged story in books 2-4, I felt like Redemption was rushed. The ending was so anti climactic and so easy it was disappointing.
Redemption picked up where book 4 left off. I was excited to see Julien, Michel, and Eve again and how they ended up, they are such lovable dynamic characters. We're back with Soren, the 12, the plague and the eradication of vampirism. What part Eve plays in that and what Soren wants in exchange. Soren is connected to Eve and he constantly badgers her through that mind connection making her second guess her actions and Michel and Julien's feelings. What happens between Michel, Eve, and Julien I will leave for you to discover. We have seen Eve angry with Michel for refusing to tell her what his plans are, we finally discover it is because Soren will read everything from her mind, allowing him to find out just what their plans are.
Does Soren keep his promise to get rid of the plague and vampirism? Well, not totally because Eve will have to remain a vampire in order to continue being the bridge between the 12. All questions we have answered in this book. I will miss seeing the adventures of these 3 they keep you on your toes. Through all 5 books, I think Julien is my favorite.
I have been anticipating the ending of this series. Sadly, I was disappointed with how it turned out. It seemed like the majority of the book was once again about Eve being in a constant state of confusion and refusing to have faith in anything other than scientific facts. I was also hoping for a bigger, better revelation regarding Soren and The Twelve but that didn't happen. The whole ending was anti-climatic and unresolved.
I was given this ARC for an honest review, and I can say this book does not disappoint. The final conclusion to the story is a bitter sweet one, with the saving of human lives from the evil around them, too finding that piece of your missing heart which makes it whole again. Michel, Julien and Eve are characters you can have a love, hate, love relationship with.
What a let down, the author could have compressed the entire series in a single book and the end would be the same. No plot resolution. No character development. Everything is still up in the air. Could have saved the readers time and money, she shouldn't have dragged it out.
all I can say right now is that when you read this book you will notbe able to put it down. I was very lucky to have the chance to read it before it hits the self. So thank you again! The journey was very very emotional.
What a great story! The ending was perfect! When Michel wanted to take the drug and forget her and never see her again I was heart broken. But then the way it ended was intense and amazing. How Michel and Julien and even Eve grew and changed over the years. So they could accept and love more fully, it was an even better ending than I thought it would be. **sigh in satisfaction**
Thank God this series is over. Eve was a whiny little bitch and had absolutely no personal development throughout the series. Julien and Michel need to grow a pair of cohones and use them. Soren was the only interesting character, but in the end the whole resolution and conclusion of the 5 books series was flat and unimpressive. I don't recommend it to anyone, it's a waste of time.
I have read all 5 books in the series. I love the attention to detail about each character and their history. The way the plot twists and turns with subtle hints dropping left me reworking my theories throughout each book. A very well written series. You will love Michel, Julien and Eve as they try to save the world. If you like vampire books, I highly recommend this series!
I chose this rating of two stars because it just wasn't going anywhere.l read all of the series and still felt cheated a lose of time. So much blather and just no get up and go. I thought it was going to be a good one, maybe next time.
Ending leaves a bit of an opening. Great series though one of my most favorites. Never have I read a more compelling series where some ones truly loved two people.
OMG....I loved it. The plan for It/he/Soren was executed nicely. I feel bad for Eve always having to choose to between Julian and Michel when she loves both. She was meant to be with Julian, but did not account for loving Michel. She had to choose. I would if every time I was with one brother, the other would get jealous. Michel wanted to be a priest again anyway. There would be no choice if one said that he loves you, but he wants to be a priest more. Soren wanted too much power, but I can see his point of view. People need something to believe in and if he can help them find it, fine, but what would the world be like with him running around? So many questions and when the answer gets known, it is too late to do anything about it except roll with the situation and try to make it better. He did end vampirism and the technological plague. I thought he would go back on his word because he has Eve and his brothers resurrected. He had no wish to end technological advances and spared humans. he was truthful to a point. My heart sank at the end when Michel did not want to see Eve at the end. Maybe it was because he wanted Eve to remember him differently rather than what has happened or maybe because he could not face her after what happened. I am glad it worked out in the end. Definitely worth the read and wait.

I totally loved this series. Identical vampire twins fall in love with the same woman. Eve loves both twins. Soren is some kind of fallen angel, a god, who knows. But he is the villain and controls both twins and Eve. There is so much going on in this AWESOME SERIES that I wouldn't even know where to begin. This is one of the best paranormal series I've ever read. Highly recommend!!!!!!!! Extremely suspenseful. Great sex scenes. A plague thats released, that basically takes down plastic and sends them back to the dark ages. S. E. Lund has an awesome imagination and very intelligent writing. AWESOME,AWESOME,AWESOME. DID I SAY AWESOME!!!!!!
Great last book to an awesomely great series. I originally was only looking for a short book to occupy a day of my time until the release date of a book I preordered. I saw this series (book 1-4) and saw it was $.99, at that price, I HAD to at least try the book. Wow wow wow..I picked a winner. The series was super interesting, sexy and had vampires! This last book was a great ending and answered questions we have had as well as left an opening for a possible update or continuation book. Wonderfully written and I was able to read it in a day. A recommended read!
Amazing conclusion to this fantastic series! Has to re-read the series to read the last book and I'm glad I did because there are so many details in this series. Eve torn between twin brothers, one a priest and the other a knight. Both vampires. Books one through 4 she was going back and forth between the two of them. Being manipulated by Soren. So that the twins pay for killing his love 800 years ago Magdalene. Eve must find a way to eradicate Soren but keep her brother mother father and the twins alive!! A must read series!!
I've finished Redemption, the 5th and final book of the Dominion Series. It was bittersweet to read, knowing it was the end. I laughed and I cried. I was angry and frustrated but after all the ups and downs, and (most) questions answered, it ended well. I will miss Eve, though she often drove me crazy. I will certainly miss Michel and Julien! Even Soren...
Maybe sometime in the future, S.E. will consider writing more of the Dominion series. One can hope!
But seriously... 5 books later... The 5th and final installment, nothing is resolved and everything is back to square one.. AGAIN.
Oh, and also, how fucking lazy can you be as an author to have a quote at the beginning of each chapter and between the editor and the author no one caught that some of the quotes were duplicate. I am positive this is was not planned in some way to be instrumental to the storyline. Sheer laziness.
Brilliant!!!!!! Worth more than five stars !! I will be forever wondering what happens to them next will you ever write another follow up book ?????. next !
I would recommend these books to anyone !they pull you in and hold you till the very last word !!!!!
Finally the conclusion to this awesome trilogy. Eve is still torn between two brother. Soren is playing a crazy game with Eve and everyone is suffering the consequences. No spoilers so all shall be revealed in this last installment in this epic series.
The story wasn't as good as the previous books also the ending leaves it opened too more. I'm glad I finally was able to finish the series as it was interesting
What a great end to an awesome series. The best series I've read in a long time. It kept my interest every minute. Don't miss this end you will not be sorry.
