More and more couples are turning to IVF each year to help them conceive, and yet there are still many questions to be answered. "What makes IVF succesful?" and "what else can we do to support our treatment?" are two of the most important queries couples can have, and here, Zita West offers solutions. Nutrition and lifestyle advice, psychological and emotional support and a positive mindset all play an important part in helping couples conceive, and can even make the difference between a successful and unsuccessful outcome. This book not only advises how to prepare for IVF, but why it's so important, and the step-by-step diet and lifestyle plan is a clear way to support your treatment. Includes special advice for women with PCOS, endometriosis or a history of IVF failure.
I been in and out of this book through out my IVF process. I’m about to have my first embryo tomorrow and it explains everything I needed. Before I even started my Journey, this book explained allot, what to expect, what to eat, and what mental mind to be in. I’m sure to be keeping this book for more recipes and any other questions I have
This was a very helpful read, although at times, a little overwhelming in "scientific jargon" for my mind. I was excited about the cleanse, but found the grocery list making so overwhelming *cough cough* expensive *cough* that I set it aside for now and am just focusing on the more general suggestions. Including a grocery list in the book might have been helpful.
I read this book to understand what women go through in preparation of IVF and how different conception is treated in the US vs the UK. While I don’t know intimately the deep strength and struggle couples face with IVF, the diet and lifestyle focuses of the book were helpful to me in fostering well-rounded wellness.
Overall good book, many good tips for the person of people staring their fertility journey. I didn’t find any particular new insights that I didn’t already know. Good luck to all those trying to conceive!
