After gold is found on their land, Saffron is taken from her home and father, to the castle in Dragon Mountain, where she is promised to a man she doesn’t know or love.
As luck would have it, she has friends who would stop at nothing to save her.
I loved the whimsy and the heroics of it all, and the idea of a prince that isn't pretentious or snotty but a good person that truly wishes to help people. If anything, I would say my only qualms were that this book were too brief and I would have loved to see more description of things as they were going on and possibly more hardships for the heroes to overcome. However, it was beautifully written and very enchanting. I found myself sucked in, and it felt like a fairy tale. I wanted to be with Saffron and Rhi and the prince fighting alongside them all.
