He was no Prince Charming

Marriage had never been a priority for Trey Brannigan. The Triple B Dude Ranch always came first--until he found himself distracted by a certain guest of the female variety. But why was the obvious beauty hiding her good looks beneath those frumpy clothes and glasses?

She was no ugly duckling

Sent undercover to review the ranch, Meg Chastain knew this was her last chance To prove herself a top-notch reporter. 'So, although Trey and his smoldering gaze were tempting, she had to resist. If she let him persist with his potent seduction, the only story she'd get would be the one about a cowboy who lassoed a young woman's heart...

Roxann Delaney

“Simply a Kansas girl” is the best way to describe Roxann Delaney. Born, raised and having always lived in the Sunflower State, she’s also traveled to 48 states, Canada, Mexico and Cuba.

Books and reading have always been a major part of her life, but theater and performing arts called to her in high school and she later became one of the founders of a community theatre. She's come to the conclusion that reading, writing and acting are nothing more than ways to become someone else…at least in her own mind.

Roxann has lived on a farm, in a small town and has returned with her four daughters and grandchildren to live in the city where she was born. Books and reading are an integral part of not only her life, but her family's as well. Her oldest granddaughter is named Scarlett (yes, of Gone with the Wind fame).

When she isn’t writing or reading, she's designing Web sites and keeping in touch with friends, both old and new. She is proud to be one of the Ditzy Chix, is a member of WARA (Wichita Area Romance Authors) and enjoys sharing happy-ever-after stories with readers.
